ADDENDUM! The Office of the President does NOT control the economy. Also, it does NOT CREATE the Federal Budget. The Executive Branch of Government is responsible for the ENFORCEMENT of Laws already established by another Branch of Government(CONGRESS). This Executive Branch of the US Government is lead by the US President. The US President can ONLY suggest a Budget to Congress. It is CONGRESS that Creates the budget that drives our economy. It is CONGRESS that spends the Federal Tax Dollars. It is CONGRESS that creates the Laws. None of this is a part of the Executive Branch of the US Government. The US President is NOT required to pass a law. Read the US Constitution. You might be surprised at what you find in it when you read it for the first time.
| AWAKE 2011-06-06 21:04:51 Unknown |
Wake UP!!! Stop living in your reality and join the rest of us. Ignorance really is bliss for you. The Liberals, Democrats, and RINOs have been and are in control of Congress. When you refer to actual Conservative Republicans, you are NOT referring to 'Republican In Name Only'. The term RINO refers to Liberals and/or Democrats who change party affiliation to win elections and then vote Democrat after winning the election). When you do the math, the Liberals, Democrats, and RINOs have been in control of our economy for well over 30 years now. Conservatives (whether Republican or Democrat) have not been able to get a say in our economy since the mid 1970's. When you blanket statement that the economy is the Republicans fault, you show your true lack of "LIVING IN REALITY".
| AWAKE 2011-06-06 21:04:51 Unknown |
Thank you Living in Reality, you said what I'm sure others have been thinking,

Hey Lazy Comic. Before you blame Obama for the mess we're in try thinking about how we got here. Almost non-stop Republican ideas got us here. Clinton had 2 years to try to right the ship before the "Republican Revolution." We've been on a downward slide since Reagan. So shut the f*** up.

These guys have been calling my home and cell phone number for well over 2 weeks now. It is NCO, but they have yet to send me anything in the mail which is in violation of the FDCPA. NCO has been calling from a host of numbers and have been using caller ID spoofing as well.
This agency is known for being one of the largest and worst in the industry. They buy debts for pennies on the dollar that have been charged off by the original creditors and try to harrass people to pay the full amount that was charged off including fees, interest, etc. Many of the debts that they buy are well past the statute of limitations (one person claimed that NCO was calling them relentlessly in February 2008 concerning a medical debt from 1979!) You can find more information on these bottom feeders here: http://budhibbs.com/collectorpages/nco_financial_systems.htm
I personally will not talk to any junk debt buyer on the phone and I will not even consider dealing with any bottom feeder agency that is already violating FDCPA laws.

Just received a call from 877 825 4011 stating they're a debt collector. Left a message asking to call back and gave a reference number. Why don't they say what company they're calling for and what for, maybe we would answer the phone and tell them they have the incorrect number.

Called, left no message. Just says toll free call.
I'm sure it's another collection hog probably wanting cash.
Well, so do I, but the economy dictates otherwise.
Yep, that stimulus thing is working real well Blow-bama.
Fed up with the calls? Capitol Hill is responsible for this mess.
(Our crusty politicians).
Check out the link and see what I did to these credit card collections hogs.

Received a VM on my cell phone just after 8 AM from a "Miss Scott" stating that she was calling from NCO Financial Systems and that it was an attempt to collect a debt. She never stated who she was looking to speak with and said to call (877) 825-4011 and to provide them with the reference # that she left on the message - yeah right! These idiots have been calling me from various numbers for a week and I haven't seen anything in the mail from them yet. FDCPA clearly states that they have 5 days from the first contact to send me something in writing which they haven't done yet. I've had the unfortunate luck of having the same name as another member in my family and this other family member with the same name is a bit unscrupulous and looks as though I am getting confused with this family member. I have had to fight various collection agencies to prove that I am not the same person and no sooner do I get one to realize this fact than another is calling. It's gotten so ridiculous at this point that I'm actually taking one to court over various violations and if NCO doesn't back off, I'm going to have to go after them too since they're already violating FDCPA.
