If you received an unsolicited fax, you should know that the fax itself is a violation of federal law, and whoever sent it to you is a crook.

If you paid any money to these crooks, you should know that your money is gone and so are they.

If you think any reputable company's representatives (like "Roger" who hasn't posted any lies in months) perform their customer service on a web site for complaining about phone numbers and scammers, then you should go to see the Wizard of Oz and try to get a new brain.

Posting your phone number and contact information on a public web site is especially brilliant LOL. Are you a rocket scientist too?

I purchased a vacation package in October 2010.
I never received a certificate or authorization code.
My credit card was charged $698 for 12 days total in Cancun, Daytona and Orlando.

what you described is exactly what happened to me on the 23 November 2010. A guy called claiming I had won a holiday package. He said I did not have to pay anything except some taxes amounting to £698. When I hung up I had a feeling it was a scam and called my credit card company to try and block the transaction. Only to find they had immediately authorised the payment even though I was told that it would happen after I receive my package and confirmed that I'm taking up the Package. The money that was debited from my account on the 26 Nov 2010 was £740.50 instead.
I was told that the so called package would be valid for 12 months and that I could cancel and get a refund within 30 days after receiving the Pack. I have been in communication with them for the last few weeks.
Yesterday and today I managed to speak to someone who said he is their customer service and Reservation Manager. He is promising to send me an email and facilitate with my refund.

One of your saleman rang up my mother-in-law (83 years) to claim she had won a prize. All she had to do was confirm her credit card number to confirm. The silly old girl did just that ! "Oh yes" said the salesman, "just to confirm you have won what are the last three numbers opn the back?" You guess it she gave them." All you have to pay for this wonderful holiday are the airport taxes". Guess what - £550 out of her account and absolutely zilch from you guys. Can they find her on the system? "No" Can't trace the money, don't know what has happened !
I'll tell you what has happened - she has been ripped off by criminals. In the U.K. it is known as "Theft by deception" I am currently filing a complaint with the local police, hopefully they can crack down on this outfit.

It seems that the card block worked cos the are ringing me right now I hung up the first time it was an american lady dailled 1471 we do not have the number of this call surely they would call from a recognised number.

I want to awnser the call but I phoned mty bank today got through to the fraud dept who told me to wait to see by monday if the transaction goes through and also to wait 15 days for any paper work.

After receiving paperwork that i am to write a letter requesting the cancellation of the offer and to request a refund. send all paper work back via recorded delivery keeping a copy myself.

they said it should appear on my next months bill that the transaction had already gone through nothing appeared on the ministatement though will know by monday.

I was called the day before yesterday, - same story and foolishly enough I gave them my CC number.
I have canselled my Visa card now, BUT my bank is telling me that they already "reserved" more than 1100 US$.
I really hope my bank will be able to block the transfer of money to them.
I just sent them an e-mail explaining that they have no rights what so ever to take my money.

Call your bank and put a stop payment to this. Seriously..they called me and I can only think my common sense I hung up.  So, where is Roger "Doger" now with his comment?

Just received a phone call from them. Same story. "You have won the jackpot and so ..."
Then they tried to get our credit card data. At the same time we were on the phone, we checked on internet and found this site. Just in time!
We did not give the security number of the card. They say they will be calling in 30 minutes to demonstrate how reliable they are. Right after the call ended we called American Express and explained what happened. For security, they have blocked the card and will send a new one.

Time out for vacations phoned me here in New Zealand and said that I had won the Jackpot.They told me I had won a vacation for 4 people at Cancun and Florida...All that was required by me was to pay 698 euros to cover taxation. What was my credit card no? Before I could phone my bank the next morning because I suspected a scam,they had debited my credit card account NZ $ 1239.00. Imagine my rage. I cancelled my credit card.I tried in vain to telephone them, They gave me no. in Las Vegas..They came like thieves in the night.

Roger, you posted on Oct 21 here but gave no response to Andre's Jul 27 problem of no reply from Timeout for Vacations after paying $399 for a vacation and $200 holiday fees. Why did you avoid Andre? Could Timeout be a SCAM?

I dry to get an answer of my letter from 09-25-2010 where I decidet to cancel the vakation packege within 30 days and returned the packege. Fryday 10-15-2010 I got a telefoon from the quality controler she promist to refund the payed money of $ 321.- to my account within 7 days. Nothing is happend.

I keep a stack of the FAX transmissions with "DELETE - (000) My Fax Number". I load them up and I FAX the stack to the current Junk FAX company. In this case, timeoutforvacations.com has a FAX number of 877-647-7613

They just received a stack of my Junk FAXES with my delete information.

Received 2 faxes today. One was after I called to have my fax # removed.Both faxes were about ridiculously cheap travel deals. I hate wasting my ink and paper on this junk!

I receive a fax (timeoutforvacation.com) on my company where they had a offer of 399$ for 6 days and 5 nights to mexico, I called, they convinced me and I paid, then they said We will need to pay 200$ for holiday fees and I paid, I called requesting the days and the hotel confirmation, they are taking for ever in giving me a n answer, I don't know what to do at this point. Whould somebody help me?
