This number is a complete scam.  I received several calls from this message. One was for a class action lawsuit involving the birth control Yaz.  Another was for a class action lawsuit for mesothelioma.   Several calls were regarding the "cut my interest rates in half" scam.  I called back several times, and every time I asked who they were, I was hung up on.

I just received the exact same message!  Glad I decided to look it up!

If this is a legitimate company, then why didn't you give the name of the company so the rest of us could check.  Its easy to see that you are part of the scam.

you should be ashamed for backing up someone who "works" can you even call that a job, sitting on your a** waiting for a cold call to actually pay off and then consider it "helping"..... its ignorant people like you that would allow a company like this to continue!

I got a call from Ashley Martin (1-877-828-7254) stating that we spoke last week about lowering my credit card debt. I did no such thing. I called back, and the man on the other end of the line mumbled the name of the "company" and his name. I asked the name again and he would not say it clearly. He said they are a non-profit organization that help with credit debt. I told him that this is the 2nd time I have received a message that I spoke to Ashley about my credit, which I have not. I asked how he got my information, and he could not tell me. I asked for an address or any other form of identification, and he said he could not give out that information. I asked his name, and was told "that is none of your business!!!". I told him that this is clearly as scam that targets the elderly who cannot remember who they spoke to last week, and he told me that "You are a crazy lady and if you call us back we will go after you for harassment! We are blocking your number!"... I tried to call back to speak to a manager, but they blocked me already. There is good and bad to this. The good is that if you call them out on the scam, they won't bother you anymore. The bad, is that they will continue to prey upon the elderly and other vulnerable people. If you get a call from this number, please report it to the BBB AND your local police! They are engaged in fraud!!!

Does anyone know what the name of this Company is???????? They have been harassing our place of business for months now, and when questioned I got hung up on 4 different times.  I've worked for Call centers as well, and this is just SHADY!!! I want the company name so I can report them.

I phoned my cell phone service to see about having the numbers in question blocked. To do it through the company they said it would cost. To do it free they gave me the website: donotcall.gov

I do not know if the ASHLEY MARTIN (Ashly Martin) number that reached me will be affected because it was not the 877 phone number in question. Then again the telemarketer 877 number was not calling me from that number, they were receiving the calls to obtain information. Hopefully this information will help others by going to the website donotcall.gov and registering your phone numbers. I'm hoping mine won't be phoned anymore wasting my time and phone minutes.

Got my second message from ASHLY MARTIN her phone number was . . .1 (121) 439-6554. First message was about a month ago when I called the phone number she said to call 877-828-7254 stating for them to take my name off their list. So she left another message today a month later, 11/15/12. This time I phoned  them back (877-828-7254) and when I was talking about too many scams and I wanted them to send me papers stating their offer (not telling them I would take it to my bank or have the BBB check up on them), a woman rudely hug up on me. I phoned back and then wrote down their business name. The name they were going by at the number 877-828-7254 was "NON-PROFIT DEBT MANAGEMENT". They said they were a national non-profit debt free management company, but as the man continued to talk to me he stated they only have 6 employees. SCAM.

Received another sham call from that piece of garbage Ashley Martin (214-396-5554). What can be done about this piece of sh*t???

Any company that calls random people under false pretenses (aka lying about a previous conversation that never took place) is NOT completely legitimate. It may work for the people who are initially suckered into taking the bait, but it's still not ethical.

(Blatant) deceit is no way to start a relationship with a business.

DO NOT CALL TOLL FREE NUMBERS BACK!!  

Even if you have call block/privacy-this is STRIPPED ON TOLL FREE CALLS and the recipient(s) WILL RECEIVE YOUR CALLER ID.  

Could be a trick to verify where you are, who you are, someone trying to find or locate you for ANY REASON and this does NOT require a court order.

Pretty much word for word what what spouted  off to me...bald faced lies and the troll touting how good they are is probably in on the scam. We never spoke last week, I HAVE no credit cards, and the pisser is, I have a pre-paid phone so I had to PAY to listen to this bull!

Just got the same call. I called the 877-828-7254, asked where my number had originated - no knowledge -, stated I'd not spoken to anyone at their company last week - "probably a misdial" -  asked their location - nationwide company - where was the person I was talking to - Colorado. I had short conversations by calling the number about five or six times, and every call ended when I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. The reps always hung up without the courtesy of an answer. Maybe they don't have managers or supervisors and just work from home with a canned script.

Got a call from 857-444-5588 (Boston) from a young female saying that she could lower interest rates, and this was the last courtesy call.  Implied that we had talked about lowering monthly payments....and that had not happened.  The call back number was 1-877-828-7254 (unknown).  

She did NOT mention the company that she was represented.  Red flag all the way around.

I got the same call.  "Ashley Martin" said she could lower my interest rate.  She didn't leave a company name, and had all kinds of false information about me and my credit.  No caller ID on this phone, but the number she left is 877-828-7254.

I just got this call at work!  Someone claiming to be Ashley Martin said she'd found a solution to a problem we'd discussed last week (no and no) and that she could get me 1.5% interest rate on a credit card I only pay the minimum payment on each month (no, again).  She left her number as 1-877-828-7254.

Same thing as others. Lies plus more lies.

Called me on my cell phone. i am very private with my number and I'm curious to know who "sold me out"

Same MO as other calls.. 'Ashley Martin' wants to lower my interest rates tho I have no credit cards or loans.. Other sites have identified these calls as originating from Chase Bank or a Chase owned debt relief company.. Calling these #'s back only verifies to them that it Is a working # & can make the call volume worse..  I ignore all calls that come from unfamiliar #'s & most unknowns soon go away... .. No sense getting worked up over something we can't stop I'm afraid..

They may be working with You but I have NO association with Chase Bank & do not want them calling my home.. Why are you here if you like them so much?

I don't agree at all. These people make the Choice of taking  a job that Invades people's lives..If they don't want angry people calling them, they should get a job that doesn't involve scamming people.. Maybe you think this isn't a scam? I got the same message as everyone else, bring down my interest rates..What interest rates? I have never had a credit card in my life & owe no one anything.... I find it best not to answer or call these #'s back.. If they get a response, even a negative 1, they just try harder.. Better they think it's not a working #.. eventually they move on..
