It is not a scam. Automated call telling you that you unemployment benefits have been deposited.
Dixie Casero 2014-06-04 17:45:42 Unknown
I keep getting these calls. I arrived in Nevada in early March 2014. I have never applied for unemployment or any other such service. I want these calls to stop.

Big D 2014-03-11 17:36:42 Unknown
"I am make a six figure salary"? You obviously do not have to be smart to make millions, what gives?
overdrafted 2014-02-01 00:29:19 Unknown
They are good at stealing money and your time, you can not even get to your money without a card, paying all the fees, and giving blood and stool samples. You can not even file a complaint, just talk to a supervisor who's hole job is to con money and waste your time. Hopefully some big class action sute comes along to put a stop to this abuse of our rights. God knows normal people can not do anything but get screwed by the good old boy system, hopefully boss hog has a heart attack and nevada gets some honest poloticans who will protect the people not bleed them dry.

Make it stop I get a call every Wednesday, from this number. I don't live in Nevada and don't have a Nevada phone, I can't get anyone on the phone, and it's been going on for 6 weeks. If not longer.
anon 2012-07-06 17:33:08 Unknown
This is definitely legit. I live in NV, recently opened an unemployment claim and requested telephone notification of deposits to the EPPI debit card. This number is the one you call if you have questions about the card.

@miffed
If this call is the worst of your problems shut up and count yourself lucky.
Dee 2011-12-01 20:22:00 Unknown
ok so I get this card.I am employed full time and have been for 2 years.
i didn't apply nor am I owed money. I cannot get a human on the phone.
Any suggestions on how to handle this?
Sooz 2011-09-07 18:45:04 Unknown
OMG ROFL that's just too funnyyyyy!!!
Barb 2011-07-06 18:19:03 Event Reminder
It is legit. I don't get charged a fee if I go into my bank to the teller and take the money off as they look at it like a credit card transaction and my bank doesn't charge me. Now I only have one time to use it free at the ATM then they start charging... Other wise it isn't a scam!!!! It's my money!!

Who call from this number?
2011-06-06 21:04:52 Unknown
Those reporting # to be "unemp card" seem to be right as I AM drawing Nevada unemp with a debit card.
carol 2011-06-06 21:04:52 Unknown
most of these calls go unanswered. I have dish, and the numbers show on my tv. If I don't know them, they stay that way. If they leave me a message, I can delete them.
Paul 2011-06-06 21:04:52 Unknown
It's the debit card you get from some states for unemployment compensation. The call is usually a notification that a deposit has been made into your account.
Dinah 2011-06-06 21:04:52 Unknown
caller called for the first time today.
ray 2011-03-18 17:39:55 Unknown
That's a good number to get a call from!
MiffedIsAnIdiot 2011-02-23 18:50:10 Unknown
Make millions? You are an effin moron!
miffed 2011-01-15 05:28:47 Unknown
I get a call every couple days. I called back. They want my debit card number or social security. I am make a six figure salary. I have millions. I am not unemployed. What gives.
Z 2010-09-24 06:35:10 Unknown
I keep getting messages from The Nevada Debit Card Program with the number 877-829-4130. It does look like it is related to unemployment, but I think the messags are for the preson who had my number before me.
I finally got ahold of an actual person at this number to try to get my number removed from their list, but the first question they ask if 'What is your Social Security Number'? When I wouldn't give my Social Security Number they hung up on me! How do I get removed from their call list???
Liz 2010-07-28 10:11:21 Unknown
Everyone here is right, it's Nevada unemployment. And who cares if they charge you to withdraw, it's part of the agreement that the EPPI card made with the banks. And people have to agree to it or get a check instead. Obviously work is so bad for you that you have to complain about a $.35 surcharge.
Steven 2010-06-01 07:47:00 Unknown
What nobody is complaining about how the debit call is ripping you off! Boy i tell you, dumb American people will go for anything! This is the biggest rippoff there is! There charging you to withdraw you unemployment money!! People really need to wake up!!
Pamela 2009-07-28 21:41:09 Unknown
This is the Unemployement notification system to notify you that the weekly claim deposit was made to your unemployement debit card.
Chuckles 2009-07-08 17:30:21 Unknown
You're an idiot.
Kris 2009-05-05 21:49:04 Unknown
This is not a scam. I get notified that my unemployment payment has been deposited on my State provided visa card.
IPlayMusic 2009-04-22 19:07:32 Unknown
Yeah, it's Nevada Unemployment.
darthpoopies 2009-03-11 15:26:45 Unknown
that's the unemployment deposit message u get when they depsoit money to the debit card
JustGotOne 2009-02-18 17:06:35 Unknown
I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. I figure if they need me, they will leave a message. Sure enough a message was left. It was a computer recorded message, a woman's voice and typical for such recorded calls, telling me that "This is a automated deposit notification call, please call 877-829-4130"...blah blah blah..."This is the Nevada debit card program. A deposit has been made to your personal debit card account. To opt out of this automated deposit notification call please call 877-829-4130." I'm certain this is a scam, please be wary. The call is saved and I'll replay it for my bank...just to see if they can report it to the authorities.
