These loser are a third party collecting on bad/stale debt from GMAC creditors. By the time this has been given to them, chances are the statute of limitations has run out and you should avoid paying them anything. Once you pay them a single cent, it re-opens the statute of limitations. They barely speak English and the calls originate in India. They must feel they are above complying with United States federal laws, becuase they violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If you ask them to stop calling, they should only be contacting you in writing through the postal service. Check your state for the statute of limitations on prior debt. If it ran out, ignore them. They are outlaws anyway.

Sorry, there is no statute on old debts.  Any legitimate collection agency can "re-attach" the debt to your credit history through any of the big 3, and the game starts all over again.  All they have to do is prove the debt is now theirs to collect, and they must have, in their possession, all of the original documentation concerning the original debt, which the original debt holder must relinquish with the sale of any old/written-off debt.

wrong after 10 years it comes off your credit for good its the law and there,s no way to add it back unless you agree to pay the old debt, you might want to read up on it.yes a debt collector can try to collect the old debt but they can not add it to the big 3, the big 3  wont add it back on if you have proof you payed the debt and the debt collector wont take you proof wait till they take you to court and use there dime to counter sue them trust me i know iv,e done it be for and i made a nice penny off of it.

this is one of 9 numbers that national action financial services uses. they used to always call with a recorded message. now someone is actually leaving the message asking to call them back today. i wonder how many numbers this place actually has.

877-829-9934 has called my cell several times the past week. Call asks for R Harding and that's not me. Calls to the number are answered by computer, plays message and the call disconnects

This company has continually called and left various messages trying to speak to my elderly mother. Today, I happened to answer the phone because I was home and they asked to speak with her. When I said she was at work, and before I could say may I take a message, they proceeded to rudely state they had the work number and would call there. I promptly call returned and got this message saying everyone was busy please hold and then disconnected me. This happened five times in a row. Fed up, I googled the information and came to the conclusion they are a scam company. I called GMAC's regular customer service and asked to speak to someone about ensuring calls stopped. Especially if they were calling at work. They wanted her social security number. I refused. They wanted an account number. I had none. I gave them her name and the two addresses she has lived at in the last THIRTY years of her life and they could come up with NO ONE. I warned them if they call her work or here again, I would take further action. This is elderly harassment, and it will not be tolerated.

I get a call 4-5 times a day from 877-829-9934 asking for David Crawford but for some reason they don't believe me when I tell them I have had this phone number for three years and I am SURE I AM NOT THIS D***HIT David Crawford

I get a call on my cell phone from this number that is a recorded message saying, "If this is Christine Cooper, please press 1." I am not now nor ever will be Christine Cooper. I want these calls to stop!

Someone keeps calling me every day from 877-829-9934, surprisingly knows my name and last name and stating they are dead collectors. I have no ANY deads and i want these guy quit fraudulent calls.

Called by this number on my cell.  They left a message for me to call them for a debt collection.  First of all, I have no debt other than my car loan which is though my credit union at work, and is always paid. So I call them to tell them they made a mistake, and it is a recording that then tells me to leave a message-- but then states the message mail is full.  Whatever.

These people called me TEN TIMES on May 17, 2010; TEN TIMES on May 18, 2010; FIVE TIMES on May 19, 2010; and have already called SEVEN TIMES on May 20, 2010.  They call every 10-12 minutes at various times of the day,  A callback on May 17 was answered by James Lewis with National Action Financial.

they called, statiing they are from National Action Financial  Debt collectors.they call at 8 am and every hour on the hour after that.  SCUM SUCKING IDIOTS. if I am sleeping I am not getting up to answer the phone, call me at a reasonable hour and I might talk to you. They are not even calling for me, that is the whole pisser of the thing.

These people are out to screw you if they can.

I am called 4-5 times a day from this number!  I voluntarily turned in a vehicle, that we put 5,000 down on and paid 596.00 a month for two years before turning it in.  Now, I am getting called at work, at home, every day all day.  We turned this vehicle in to GMAC in 1999!!!  Eight years ago!!!  Isn't there a statue of limitations!!!

I don't even receive these calls. These people call a place of business looking for an employee who refuses calls from them. Apparently they think he owes them something and will pay. He won't pay them anything and doesn't ever intend to. These people are a scam. Google "stop debt collectors" and review the information for your state. Your legal rights usually prohibit them from collecting on stale debt or "bad debt", that which the date of the statute of limitations has expired.  Most states have laws against this after so many years. Special note: don't pay them one single penny or the statute of limitations continue from the new paid on account date. It is almost as if admitting guilt. These people call everyday, several times a day. It isn't even about me but it is very annoying. Also: loose the accent, we can barely understand you.

I have been paying my old mileage off at the same time every month these fricken idiots still call, I've requsted no more courtesy calls, spoke with supervisor to get the jack a** off my account that I use to deal with, and he still calls, if I do not pick up he calls my site number in which I also had requested to be removed due to I can get in trouble for using the site phone. I can't get in touch w/ their corporate or regional office to complain. I get the run around and no one knows the boss higher than the floor manager and he's never in and no direct line or voice mail. Someon please help me get further up the chain of command. They are GMAC INDIA but actually a company by the name of NAFF @ 1-877-829-9934.

This is a GMAC collections phone number.  It is from a call center in India.  They work old accounts, mostly loss accounts to GMAC.

I recieved a call from this number by some Indian woman caliming to represent GMAC.  I don't see any record of this no. being a GMAC phone number.
