This was the number in a text that came from 305-767-6370.

It said ""We want to Thank You Call us at 877-830-6723"

No one wants to thank me for anything, they want my money. Spam.

Got a text from this number, "We want to Thank You.  Call us at 877-830-6723 for your 100 Dollar Gift Card"  I think it may be Sprint but I'm not sure.

text wanting reply test to give away gift cards.  replied to remove me!

keep getting texts stating "we want to say thanks.  call us at 877-830-6723 for 2 $50 gift cards.replied STOP calling me!

rec'd call on cell phone requesting a call and thanking me for "two50"

SCAM !!        

We called them back with google voice (free) and when we asked how we won they hang up  :)

I got a text from 310.402.6310 saying

Received a text telling me the sender wants to thank me by awarding me a $100 gift card. I didn't sign up for this and don't appreciate the spam texts.

We Want to Thank You for your 100 dollar gift card. Gift ID270. Unfortunatly, I responded to a pop-up for a free Ipad and entered my cell #. They sold my number to other criminals and charged my phone bill over and over for $9.99 four times before I could stop them..

I called the number and they want to give you this stuff, but you have to pay a shipping fee of 4.95 for them to email the gifts to you.  Scam

I received the SMS today which states -

Txt Stop to Remove"

The message originated from the number 505-507-5762, but I cannot identify that source either.

I called the number back because it is a toll free number.  I asked who they are.  They claim that they are "SMS" I asked where they are located.  They said the Philapines.  I asked who they represent for these $100 gift cards, and they hung up.

I received a text from a 213 number telling me to call the number you have listed.  Apparently we all won a lot of money!  

Scam.

They chargered my credit card for shipping. Shipping that never happened.

I received a text from the above number telling me to call I had won 2 free $50.00 give cards, with a gift code.  Unable to answer questions below because as I stated I received a text from the above number not a call.

Got a call from this number. Wanted me to do some hardcore 3 way MMM porn. Promised me lots of money and fame on the porn circuit. Here I am 2 weeks later, no money and my a** hurting like crazy. Don't call and fall for this scam...

I recieved this scam text also.  Not going to text "stop" b/c I'm afraid that won't take care of it.  I chose to just ignore it.

This is clearly a scam.  They are looking for consumers' credit card numbers so that they can charge you a one-time shipping fee to thank you for filling out an online survey.  (They told me they could tell from "my records" that I had filled out their online survey, even though I called from a different number than the one they had texted and gave them no information).  An employee calling herself "Catherine Wilson" said that the company is called "Short Messaging Sending" or "SMS" and that they are located in the Phillipines.  She said she's "not at liberty" to give out the address for their US "satellite office" or the name of any supervisor or owner of the company.  She also said that for consumers who allow the charge, it will show up on their billing statements as "Discount Magazine Club" -- even though no magazine offer was mentioned in her initial description.  I am going to file a consumer complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, www.ftc.gov.
