not happy this whoever keeps calling and i have don't call and im registered.

I do not want this number calling me and texting me on my cell while I am at work or any time.

I keep getting a voice message similar to a packet that I signed for at work or my residence.  Today I received a text message " We are hoping to connect with you today. This is regarding business you are currently conducting.  Yeah right.

received an asinine message on the home phone for who it was not clear - but the call was from jack meyers at lewis and mccarthy
the wife called the number back and it became clear he was trying to collect on the city's unpaid parking tickets...but not because we had any....her brother did.
he lied and said he was an attorney for the county of el segundo (there is no el segundo county...duh!)
and that a criminal complaint had been filed against my brother in law...
but he couldn't say why...or divulge any info regarding the "criminal complaint"....something "legal" kept him from divulging said info!
anyway...long story short....
evidently the city of el segundo has retained this conniving piece of work to collect on their unpaid street sweeper
tickets from a year ago and he's calling and scaring people with unpaid tickets....
all to collect $$ from a guy who's had a stroke...is still in the hospital....and may not be the same when he does get out of the hospital...
funny thing though...
we ALREADY contacted the city regarding his medical situation!
too bad the city can't get a debt collector that plays by the rules!!

1. They called and left stern robo messages for someone whom I've never heard of. I ignored them.
2. They began calling and leaving voice messages (first from "Jack Myers" and the same guy then left a message saying his last name was McCarthy.) I ignored them.
3. Today they texted me on my cell. Wonder what they'll do if I continue to ignore them.

These people have been calling me saying something about a case regarding my bank and social. I just ignore them because I googled the number and found they are fraudulent. Today they sent a text saying they need to get in touch regarding business I am conducting. I wish thy would leave me alone. I feel I need to harrass them back for all the harrassment they are giving me. I am going to turn them in to the sheriff.

Change all of your passwords and make sure they are LONG and use numbers, lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and symbols like ! or ? or #.  Do you still have this message?  Has there been any unusual activity on your account?  The first calls were like phishing, but by phone.  They succeeded in getting your information, but you can still safeguard yourself.  Check your credit to make sure they didn't steal your identity.

It's a fake name, fake law firm, real LLC collecting debt.  Google it and you'll find info on these guys.

I continued to receive called for a Kelly Stan.  I ignored all the messages for awhile and then decided to call and let them know that I was not and have never been Kelly Stan.  I gave them my name and theY appologized and said they must have the wrong number.  A month later they call and said there was a sopina for Kelly Stan "formally Kelly Campbell".  The message they left was very threatning.  I called them and again let them know that they had the wrong person.  I gave them personal information to ensure that they knew that the person they needed was not me.  I'm now very scared that they will use my personal information.  I will take legal action if necessary.

These people have been harrasing my daughter. They didn't even have her correct last name. And they would not tell her it was in reference to. And they try to get your personal information. She did unfortunately give her birthday and the last four numbers of her social security number. I'm worried they will use her information. I'm going to tell her to report it. She saved the threatening message.

By now, everyone should have figured out that the FTC

I keep a separate TEXT FILE named for each and every
number I receive these damned calls from, and then to
just add to it, most recent call at the top.

Nothing is going to happen on this, unless "EVERYONE"
continually bombards the FBI, your CONGRESSMAN,
your LOCAL TV NEWS, any and all NEWSPAPERS, etc.
I have been doing this myself, but will not continue to
be the only one doing it.  Strongly suspect that at least
the FBI has now "black-balled" my email name.  Either
that, or they simply responnd as "NOT READ," just as my
Congresswoman; Kay Granger of Texas has also done.

I just got the same call. They were calling for Robert C which is my father and I haven't spoken to him in nearly 4 years. Is it legal to continue to call you if you don't owe a debt or to claim to be an attorney if they are not?

My mother received a call from 877-832-6316 threatening to bring my mother and myself to court for a loan that i had received 1 year ago. I called them back to offer a small payment they refused unless i had 169.00 within 3 hours after constantly explaining my situation they refused and kept threatening to take me to court for refusing payment of said amount. I told them i was not refusing to pay this debt just not at that price. At the end of this call I let him know I had a witness listening in he got angry and disconnected call. Today my mother received a message stating to be available between noon and 4 that she would receive a summons at work or home she lives 16,000 miles away from my current location. My mother contacted an attorney. They used the name of a Mr. Durango very rude and uneducated did not use attorney or lawyer terms. Very Strange. Be aware! Did not catch name of firm.

I have received threating calls from this number 18778326312 representing Lewis and Mccarthy.  I'm fed up with these threating calls at my work.

This number has called me several times over past several months.  I answered and it was just a recording saying the numerous attempts to contact me has failed and i need to contact them.  I did call back and Dave answered and said it was concerning a debt from 2009 and i said we just filed bankruptcy and to stop callin my number and i was goin to give him a case number and he said it dont matter, that a judgement was already filed and i'd still have to pay the debt and i just repeated to remove my number and stop calling and he was getting rude and said good luck...as in they still goin to attempt to collect.   On previous occasions they also stated they mailed a packet to my home and work and to refer to page 15 and call them, but each date they gave i never received anything.  Just some collection agency.

These people (animals) called up and asked for someone that no longer lives with me. I told them that and then they said some horrible things to me! I want there Co. to END! I want the calls to stop!

They are still calling me despite a cease & desist letter sent by my attorney. How many more violations of the FDCPA can they rack up with one person?
