These people are scammers they call from different numbers everyday. First they threaten to put you in jail for check fraud if you don't wire them money that you supposedly owe them. When that doesn't work they try something new. They say you're ss# has been compromised and they need you to call and give a statement. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK AND GIVE THEM YOUR SS NUMBER OR ANY INFO ! These people need to be shot !

I'm a receptionist for a company. One of the guys who works here gets calls from Rosenthal Stein a lot. Today was one of those days. The guy said his name was Mr. Rogers. When i asked if he had a first name he said, "Uhh...no. You can just tell him Mr. Rogers called." I'm sorry, but if someone from an alleged "legit" company can't tell me what their first name is when leaving a message for someone, that throws up red flags for me. If these people are a legit company and aren't just scam artists, they should be able to provide a first name.

So wat happened after that did u have any charges filed against u?

Approximate message was "Agent Baxter calling to inform you that a serious charge is being filed against your SSN.  Call me by 3:00PM today and refer to file# 2041070442, phone ext. 4020.  I would like to see if I can help you.  Good luck!".
