Received a letter from Publishers Clearing House with a check of $3,990.00 from a Caudill Trailer Sales in Portsmouth, Ohio.  The Administrator of Publishers Clearing House, David Wiseman, wanted me to cash the check, keep half of it and return half to him to receive my $1,000,000.00 prize.  Obviously a scam and you will be out money once you deposit the check and your bank comes back on you to get their money back.  Don't fall for it!

I got the letter, the email and the phone calls! UGH! dont fall for it..im just annoyed cause all they do is call!

Yes, I got the same letter, and  took it to my bank. The teller told me the routing # did not match the bank named on the check. That this it was infact a scam. That is when I Googled  (Publishers Clearing House Administrator David Wiseman) and found your posts confirming this for me. Thanx.  And FOR ALL OTHERS.... DON'T BE FOOLED! And futhermore dont give any money or any personal info!!!! How would we go anout having him investigated???

My elderly mother in law also received this fake letter from Publisher's Clearing House with this phone #.  This man is a scam artist.  He sent her a check for $4000 and told her to deposit it and mail him over $2000 back to "cover the insurance".  He is a crook, please don't fall for it.

Received an unexpected check from "Publisher's Clearinghouse" stating that it was an official certificate awarded by Publisher's Clearinghouse and to call David Wiseman (Administrator). He is at extension 1
