that number belongs to a collection agency who does not play by the rules Graham Noble & Associates.   Best thing to do is hang up on them.  They have no ethics and will threaten and lie to you about your credit.  Better yet report them to the FTC.  Total sleeze operation.

Nancy Zapa called asking for my ex of 30 years and that if I did not call them back they would send a summons to my place of business or residence.  Also told me to contact my lawyer.  And finished with these words "good luck."

I saved the message, just in case.

Gave me the above phone number and ext 406.  Also gave me a case #.  I checked the internet and have decided not to respond.

my mom got a call at her new phone number (who lives 450 miles from me)asking for me (I didnt even have the number yet. The persons name was Ms. Kidd; giving her a case #86490 that was in Buffalo, NY; threatening her to tell me she needed to hear from me or my attorney immediately.

This is scary that they can get a number of a person that is linked to me before I even get the new number. These tactics have to be illegal.

A lady identifing herself as investigator Nicole Whitaker.  She was looking for a R..... D......  She seemed confused when I told her that this person did not live at this address nor had he ever lived here.  She wanted to talk to him or his attorney or who ever was representing him in this case being filed in Richardson County.  She hung up when I told her no one with name lived here.

left a messsage on my answering machine; Steve Nash, Graham & Noble Assy, please call 877-836-3131 ext 135 for case number xxxxx.

ec is so totally right and I hope everyone really take heed because a cousin of mine best friend brother used to work in one of those "so called" companies and he told us after being let go early ,that these companies only just go after your money, theres no county thats really after you, they only threaten to say that to scare you to make payments, tell you that the  sheriffs will come to your house if you don't make payments, ALL SCAMS!!!!! . He also told us that  there is one on Bailey and Kensington like EC said and it was one in North Carolina affiliated with Buffalo and Graham Noble had changed their name and relocated in buffalo, near Cheektowaga, Ny on Clinton and Russler DR. in the plaza. somewhere in back of Mc Donald's even if they get caught, all they are gonna do is find other locations to keep their business going and keep changing their companies name and same goes for the employees as well with fake names. He said that these companies also use false numbers from other cities to make it look like they are calling you from say , florida or any other city or town when they are only calling you directly from Buffalo, New York. So people don't stress out, we just have to keep the real investigator whom are after these ridiculous companies to be informed and record all these calls and threats they have been making to our telephones, also take down the scaming persons name, telephone # and the business and have the real investigator investigate them.  TOGETHER WE HAVE TO FIGHT BACK!!!!!!

They say you owe a dept from years and years only to scare you and have you pay which will only get transfered into the person you've talked to and made payment arrangements to have the money directly to the person you've talked to  and not money graham or western union. I agree with you 'Nun Ofyourbusiness' Karma Baby. I was stupid enough to pay Graham, Noble, & Assoc. now, a month later I have another lawyers office called Frederick's, Goldstein, & Zoe calling. They are trying to collect on the same debt. I would not pay. Therefore, now the partner Zoe called and is going to have me handcuffed & arrested at work. He also went as far as to tell me he was a lawyer and I am going to be sued. I told him go ahead so, he called me an irresponsible hoe. This is not my debt it is my husbands and come to find out it was paid and close, if it is the one we both agree it is because they would not give us any information. These people are not professionals when they are screaming at you on the phone. Karma!!!

anyone who reads this contact all the credit reporting agencys and put a fraud and activity alert on your reports... they find you that way.. also there are tools that they use... called skip tracing sites... all your information from soc sec numbers to the last 4-10 addresses and phone numbers are on these sites along with relatives neighbors and sometimes landlords and employers... keep close eyes on your credit reports no matter what 3rd party agency calls you because your open and available credit card and account info is on them... go to any site that offers it and get an official written cease and desist order do not talk to them unless you are recording the conversation... if they threaten to sue tell them that unless they have documentation to you via certified overnight mail with in 24 hrs your attorney will be in touch... if they call you more than 1 time in a day its harrassment if you hang up by law they CAN NOT call you back that day... if you tell them not to call they can not call you for minimum of 7 days bcuz you have to send them the written cease and desist which states they can only contact you by mail... also let them know by law you want no calls to friends relatives or neighbors... if for any reason information is given to a third party you can sue that company for violating the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT... for disclosure and in some cases defamation of character.... what ever you do if you are contacted and you ask for paperwork and they refuse inform them you are contacting the ny state attorney general and you will report them for failure to provide proof of debt... as well as the BBB and you own attorney... do not let them have an inch... and always follow the chain of purchase... find out who the original creditor is... call them... find out where it went call that person because 9 times out of 10 the little fish work for bigger fish.. the big fish dont like the heat....

Wow--After reading all of this i can't believe they are still in business! They have been calling me, my family, and my friends for 3 months harrassing them about some bogus debt they said I owe. I was also told, as were all of my relatives and friends, that I have a court case pending. That is complete BS! Don't believe these people and hang up on them. File a complaint with the better business bureau today!

Its amazing what you can find on the internet, I did a reverse look up of the 2nd number that called me that evening, It told me the womans real name, Miss Michele Foy, I looked it up on Myspace of all places and found this woman. Her daughters name is Veronica Lee, the name she uses at the office.  I have every piece of information on this woman at my fingertips, I suppose making harrasing phone calls is part of their jobs. Its amazing how they can find out anything they need over the internet, but so can I, and the best part...its all public knowledge.

Wow! This is all so amazing, Last Friday my husband and I returned from taking our son to the doctor to a phone call that stated they were turning all of our information over the the county court house where we live if they didn't recieve a reply in 24 hours. Of course with the prospect of being threated in that manner my husband replied. The whole time Veronica Lee from Graham Noble and Associates tried to retrieve our Bank card number which we refused, Although only hearing one side of the conversation, I thought all of this was odd, she wasn't willing to send out paper work yet wanted the number of our bank! So i googled the company and stumbled upon all of this. I told my husband and he quickly got off the phone. Now 3 days later, I recieved another phone call at 7 this evening, I answered and veronica Lee asked if I was so and so's wife.
Of course I said  yes not relizing the number was of this woman. She inturn tried to tell me the business of the account, no verification was needed to hear any of this, I Could've been the babysitter! I then told her that she wasn't to call my house again, That I googled her company's name and that what they were doing was illegal and hung up, 1 minute later she called again, I told her to not call my residence again or I would call my local police. 3 minutes after I hung up the phone, the phone rang again, the number had the same area code as Veronica Lee's. I picked up the phone and she asked for Tonya..I told her not to call again, the voice was the same! Low and behold 5 minutes after that phone call, my phone rings AGAIN from the number of the woman who asked to speak to Tonya. I answered without a hello and just said "do not call my house or the police will be called' I recieved a very raspy and low reply of "F*ck you" and the phone hung up.

The best part of all of this, my husband had this debt before we were even married. The address they have is for his prior residence, the phone to this house is in MY name. I'm at a loss for words, I have no idea how they could even contact him at this new address or even have this as a contact number for him!

Here I go again with the buffons at Graham Noble... They called this a.m I didn't know The number because they are calling from non-877 numbers now.Anyway, I was taking my kids to the bus so when he asked to speak to me I simply said I will have to take a message. To which he replied", I need to speak to her or her attorney right now!" I told him I couldn't help him. He starts screaming,"you can't help me but you are answering Martha's phone." I asked him if he had ever answered someone else's phone. Now mind you I never said I wasn't me I simply said I needed to take a message. He tells me,"check it out don't answer this phone when I call back since you can't help me and which point I started laughing and hung up. Less than 3 minutes later the phone rings again, same number, I answer as always and he says "put Martha on the phone" I told him I had just told him I could take a message and he replied,"didn't I tell you not to answer the phone when I called back you dumb bitc*"I hung up and called the number on caller ID and "Miss Page" assured me they would reveiw the tapes and handle the matter. When she answered the phone Graham Noble I started laughing. Needless to say I told her exactly where they can take their illegal calls.Off to call my local BBB to see what to do about these harassing phone calls.

these clowns called a family member with threats of my arrest/prosecution etc. i called the bar associations for erie county and ny state. they are not a law firm. they are fake. they are an underground collection agency, attempting to collect on debts that are beyond the statute of limitations. i kept them on the phone for over 40 minutes with a promise that i would like to give them my bank account number. i played like i was elderly and hard of hearing. as soon as i said bank account, you could almost see the "inpector''s drool through the phone. when they asked for my address, i spelled out 'sukamidyk street'. then asked the secretary to say it back to me. i couldn't hold my laughter any longer. it was a blast jerkin' these clowns around. they're not too bright. :)

You say we owe a debt, and they have every right to harrass us.  Not true!!! I was called many times by Graham, Noble, and Assoc and did not have a debt.  When I asked them to send me documentation of what it was I supposidly owed, they said."if we do that you will file bankrupcy and we will never get our money".  What a stupid remark!! I have asked them over 4 times to send me something in writing and they refused.(because there is no such debt)  Last time they called I asked the so called "investigator" if he would send money to a company without knowing what it was for??? He hung up on me. I consulted my attorney, and these people are doing very illegal tactics.  They are not a law firm, or with any law enforcement division.  The are just rude, obnoxious, un-educated bill collectors.

Oh I forgot they gavemy mom a a court docket number as reference and stated he was an officer of the court and said if paid today it was $200 if I waited it would be $500. No reason what the other $300 was for.

Wow. Ok I am not alone then. These people called my 76 yr. old mother telling her a summons had been issued for me from the county court. They had my city right, they even told her my birth date and social. She would not give them any of my information she just said she would see if she could find me.She called me in a panic because they told her I was in danger of arrest if this wasn't cleared up in 24 hrs. I called them this morning, "Inspector " Fountain at ext. 153 to be exact. He told me I was being sued for breech of contract from 2003. The original amount , according to him was $200 dollars if I paid RIGHT NOW. I told him that was impossible whereas he said", hold on , hold on this is their attorney on the other line now". He had me up until that corny line I admit. I told him I would set up arrangements for the debt on my debit card because there was NO way I was giving him my bank information. At this point he tells me hes transferring me to the accounting department to confirm. He forgot to hold my line and called on an open line. I heard him say"yeah I got another one for ya", "yep I always get that a**","these motherf****** need to learn they can't run from me","damn right I always get 'em" and my favorite line was "hey dumb a** you gotta hang up and take her info yo dumb f***" at which point I asked "Inspector (HA) are you speaking to me?" He said "oh sh**" and hung up. A female voice appears on the line unprofessional and sounding like she just woke up to give me a confirmation number and assure me I am doing the right thing because they never lose a court case. At this point I am already calling the debit card people on the other phone to cancel my card because I had initially agreed to make payments starting on Feb. 3rd. As I am hanging up from Graham , Noble I get a text alert on my cell that a transaction had just occurred for the amount I stated I would pay on Feb. 3rd.Clearly illegal.Then I get on the internet and do some research and find out all these other horror stories about them. They need to be stopped!

The number I got a call from was 1-877-793-6742.  Same company Graham Noble Law Firm.  Spoke to a Mr. Evans.  Gave me a Case #.  Trying to contact someone with a different name from 2002.  This is a two family.  Also called the person in the other rental

a friend of mine got a call from these people. its crazy. they are really stupid people. they would not give him an address. by the end of the conversation my friend told the guy to f--- off. the man calls him back and said 'we must have gotten disconnected'... he hung up again. they keep calling him...that is just insane.

Oh boy, I just read every post on here and copied all that had actual information as to how to get these people back. I've got my dig voice recorder ready to go, and all web sites, addresses and phone numbers that I plan to send a blanket letter to about exactly what was left on my voice mail today and I will have a certified court reporter in the state of WA transcribe every conversation I have with these flaming freaks at GRAHAM NOBLE AND ASSOC.  I cannot wait!  I am planning to then send everything I gather to NBC, CBS & ABC.  I hope that Chris WIlliams finds interest cuz I'D LOVE to watch these peoples' faces as he infiltrates their little efffing scam of a supposed office where they sit there like little sweaty gnomes rubbing their hands together and tryinhg to devise how to screw the next guy they call.  WARNING TO ALL EMPLOYEES AT GRAHAM NOBLE (or whatever) karma bites you in the a**!  And all of America will get to watch!!!  Pop the popcorn and find your place on the sofa cuz this will be true entertainment.
