This number, 877-840-5108, used to call incessantly - night & day, day after day...until I just stopped answering.  Now, they hang up after 3 rings.  Fine by me.  I have caller ID on all my phones & if I happen to have the TV on, the number displays on the set.  I no longer answer any calls that display "Unavailable" in the name field; if a call offers neither its name or number, I barely look at the caller ID before wiping the call from my phone's memory.  All "unavailable" calls have dwindled nicely since I stopped answering.

This is NOT the "American Diabetes".      This number is a SCAM & all they want is Credit Card#.
If the Number comes up with "UNAVAILABLE"  Do Not ANSWER!!!  Let your answer mach. pick-up.
Maybe if enough people would STOP answering, they might quit calling!

we receive relentless calls from this number - have asked to be taken off call list - calls keep on coming. I am feed up with them.

This is the American Diabetes Assn.  I've given to them in the past, so that's probably why I'm getting the call.  However, I've decided that I will NOT give anything, to any organization over the phone, I will mail it in if I decide to give to them.  

I did call the number back, and there is an option to take your number off their list.  I'm doing that with all of these calls I get from various toll free numbers.  Maybe eventually they will stop.  SO ANNOYING!

Similar to above... no answer when picked up; long load beep on answering machine when not picked up.
5 calls in as many days; very disruptive.  I'm getting several other calls from other repeative sources with same actions.

Called at 845 PM on a Sunday...very annoying...did not answer when I saw the number on my tv screen

Guy called asking for contribution for American Diabetes something or other, wanted my credit card numbers to make a donation. Luckily my wife was suspicious, and asked him to mail the info and she'd send a check.  Sounds fishy to me.

Sounds like a company trying to see if your number can receive faxes, then record and sell it if it can =/

Has called numerous times. I have answered twice, with my home business name, and gotten hung up on.  Called back today and got a recording from the American Diabetes Association.  I sent them an e-mail about this. We'll see.

Called today, Caller ID shows UNAVAILABLE and I didn't find anything when I plugged number into a major Internet search engggine. Caller apparently hung up but not before my answering machine picked up. First time ever that my answering machine did not disconnect on a hang up call. Answering machine recorded for 3-4 minutes after the hang up call, through the whole "if you'd like to make a call..." recording then the annoying long stretch of erratic beeping then a minute or so of buzzing noise. My dog was freaked out when I got home and after listening to the recording precipitated by the hang up call I can understand why!
