i had my 2008 tundra in for service at serra toyota in decatur,alabama on 11/15/11.this was for 4 items-rotate and balance tires due to a bump in front at speeds of 45-60 mph,oil and filter change and lube,turn in two recall notices i had received,and finally because on a recent trip to tennessee,approximately 125 miles each way,the vehicle stability control light and a flashing light in the left side of the dashboard stayed on for approximately 75 miles each way.we stopped,read the book,etc.all it said was to call the dealer.i called the dealer on monday,11/14/11.
the service manager was not there that day or for the previous week or so.the service technician took me to the shop to show me all of the steps in the computerized diagnostic that he had gone through.the next step was to install a $2700 part.he said it was not covered under warranty because it was a brake part.if it was not considered a brake part,the warranty would cover it.he would have to wait till the service manager returned to work to determine whether to consider the problem a brake part or a part with a 5 year/60000 mile warranty.my 3 year old truck has around 3800 miles on it total plus i was told very specifically by this same dealership 2 years ago that my warranty had been extended due to all of the problems toyota was having with the vehicles suddenly going out of control.i received a call from serra toyota on 11/17/11 to inform me that the service manager said to drive it some more to see if these warning lights came on again.the truck is still parked in the garage  that i parked it in on 11/15 when i returned from the dealer.the whole reason a 3 year old truck has only around 3800 miles on it is because every time i think about driving it i either see something on tv about toyotas going out of control or i get another recall notice. i have already passed all of this on to someone else at this same number plus i put it in the computer survey.i will drive the truck this weekend.all i really want is to not have problems with such an expensive truck ,to have toyota and serra toyota to live up to their quality and service promises,and to not ask me to be their quality inspector to drive it to see if it happens again.it is an insult to me,my wife,and the toyota engineer who wrote the diagnostic used by serra toyota to suggest the problem may have been due to a loose gas cap,hitting a bump,or riding the brake and gas pedal at the same time.by the way,per the technician the particular trouble code shown had never before been seen at that toyota dealership.now,when will toyota fix my truck to make it idiot proof so that i can enjoy the truck? and please do not call me again or ask me to do another survey on this same issue.also,if serra toyota is using my comments to use as an excuse for not giving the employees i dealt with their bonus next month,as suggested by one of the comments posted for this phone number,shame on them.

Get calls three and four times a day from this #.  Can't understand a word they are saying on the message.  Want them to stop using my air time on cell phone...!

These follow-up calls for Toyota Service are a way for the dealership to prevent the employee(s) that worked on your car from receiving a monthly bonus.  If you rate your service at anything less that 100% satisfactory, then the bonuses for those employees are cancelled for the next month.  After I learned this (from an Erdman  employee),  I  ignore all satisfaction surveys.

No one there when I answer.I wait 10 seconds then bye.Repeated phone calls are annoying.

Receive 1-2 calls per day from this number.  I answer and get music then it hangs up on me.  I call the number back and get music then it hangs up on me.  I finally answered and a guy said he was calling to do survey regarding my recent Toyota service, performed at Bob Tyler Toyota in Pensacola, FL.  I told him I don't do surveys and not to call again.  I also called Bob Tyler Toyota and the service manager is supposed to help stop the calls.  If he doesn't, I will take the car to an independent garage that doesn't do surveys.

I don't know how you get my phone no. I got this call at the same time during weekend. They only have a music for a while. It is a crasy calling.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru. If you do not know how, call their customer support!

But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

I refuse to take surveys. All they did was change my oil. I don't have a problem with the service but I do to keep getting calls about what they did. Leave me alone.

Received call @ 1437 2011-09-15.  No voice or other response.

I've had recent work done at Scott Clark Toyota City in Charlotte, NC.  I get calls from this number but when I answer, nobody talks, it just plays music.

When I called this phone number they would not give me the name of the company and will only say that this is pertaining to a survey for a service that was recently provided or for a new vehicle that was purchased. They asked for the phone number that they originally called to reach me. Why would I even give them that information; did they not call me first? Duh! Sounds like telemarketer or spam.

2 calls now from this number 2 days in a row second on saturday 22 hours apart to the minute on cell phone, no one on the other end of the line

Every day for the past 3 months I get one or two calls with no one answering when I answer.  I do not have any connections with Toyota. I did have my truck serviced at Tires Plus recently.

As opposed to calling back the 877 number, I wised up and decided to call my actual Toyota dealership that I went to service for. I called the actually Services personnel that was helping me and threatened to take my business to another Toyota dealership for service if they don't get my number off that survey list IMMEDIATELY!

Remember, these dealerships are dying for people to service with them, so they will do whatever they can to keep your service and keep you happy.

I keep on receiving phone calls from this number too and when I call back, they tell me that I have recently had my car serviced and I have done a survery. They also tell me that they do not have my number on file. THEN WHY DO THEY KEEP ON CALLING? I called Toyota and was told that this number is a company they have do their surverys. The guy forwdarded me to another lady to discuss this matter and I am waiting for het to return my phone call since she is out of town.

Same here -- had Erdman service last week -- and then the calls.  I already did the online survey so I don't see the point of the follow up survey.

I hope someone out there get person from dailing this number over and over...this person don't have any respect for mankind. Please hunt this indivdual down and place in jail.

received one phone call around noon and another call at 8:28pm.  Really really annoying since no message is left.  I did get my car service at the Toyota dealership last week due to a recall.  After reading the other posts, it actually makes sense.

Same as JRO! Recently had service on a Toyota and Bingo phone rings off the hook every single time!  This will be the last Toyota I will ever own!!!!!!  I realize the benefit of making sure a customer is happy but between the email, letters and phone calls of a new car purchase and service - give me a break!!!!!  My thought is we all report we are very unhappy and will never use them again - bet money the phone call will stop!

Girl called me from this number at 10:30pm saying she is calling from Mike Erdman Toyota. Wish I got her name, but pretty sure it wasn't legit. Who at a car dealer would call anyone at 10:30 pm? CRAZY!
