i received a call from us travel group stating i won a trip to mexico 4 day cruies leaving out of miame florida. i paid them $ 240.00. never heard from them again. i got a phony tel. # the web site was US TRAVEL GROUP

I had the same call same # 877-842-0326 I reported them to the consumer affairs don't fall for this.

Same here. just left a message stating I entered their contest; didn't say what contest it was, but wanted me to call back to claim my cruise call at 9pm i have to call back today or they will have to offer it to the next invisible contestant

This number called me at 630 on tha dot sayin I won a cruise and I only had to pay some shity a** taxes that was $93 a person but when I was on tha phone I heard in tha background the movie superbad and some people was laughing now any real business u woldnt hear that so I really think if u give them yo info they gonna drain yo account dry.

Got the same call from the same number.  Clearly they don't care who you are.  My guess is the cruise costs 88 per person (the tax) and you are going to be paying major cash to leave the boat at all and probably paying some kind of fee for every stop even if you don't get off. I did call back to hear the pitch.  It was not aggressive but when I suggested that it seemed "too good to be true" especially since I hadn't entered any contest, the woman directed me to the compant website.

i just got a message from them also. so i called back from a different number and he asked my name.  i told him b johnson and he said ok congradulations on your free cruise.  I mean come on he only has 1 b johnson and found me right away calling from a different number.....I told him that I never applied for anything and he said you had to have in the past 6 months and I said no sir I did not.  He said so you don't want this free cruise....I mean that was a foot in the mouth...Scam dont give them information.

Hmmmm...called my business on a Saturday (from 202-367-9272) when business hours are Monday through Friday. I can only speak to some one 4 - 10 PM Central Time. I've won a contest I have never entered and we don't book our travel through this company.

Listened to the same recording from "Amy" on my VM this morning.  You would think that if it was ligit, it would be a "live" person instead of some canned recording...besides...I never entered any drawing or contest...

Same story with Amy, not a Holiday cruise but a Royal Caribbean, NCL or some other carrier cruise.  If you won something wouldn't they know which one?  Same 877 number but the original call came from a 443 - 550 - 7912 number.  Watch out, this cannot be legit!

Why has this company (that claims you have won a cruise from a caller named "Amy") been shut down for good???  

It could be that it is a scammer operation based offshore with a US 800/877 toll free-calling number to give it more legitimacy--and to avoid legal repercussions from US authorities.  

Apparently, these crooks have been running this scam for quiet some time!

I did not and will not return her call.  As for "Amy"--I would like to personally tell her where she can go--(Hint: With a one-way ticket to an extremely HOT place!)

Recieved a call on 1/5/2010 from an Amy,she left a message she said i won a cruz she ask me to call her at 877-842-0347. I called and left my cell # and on 1/6/2010 I recieved a call on another # this time i talked with a guy who said his name was jovon and he said that i had won a cruz and that all i had to pay was taxes and that i had todat to secure it. I called him back and ask him to fax me an innvoice he referd me to a web sight then i googled the Phone# he gave me and that brought me to this sight
