Got a message from "Paul Seed" - apparently I am a finalist for a Ford Navigator base on an entry ticket I submitted.  FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD! I make it a point never to submit any raffle tickets to avoid scams like this.

What is our world coming too. These people should be stopped. What they are doing is so wrong especially today when people are working so hard and trying to keep on top of things, the thought of winning something is so appealing. I wish I had been able to record the telephone conversation that I just had. Please beware

Bruce...again!  Good ole' "Bruce" gave me a robo call tonight, Christmas Eve (using a different phone number this time....) This, even after I talked to him (actually got him on the phone the other day) to let him know
I knew he was a scammer.  I guess my next step will be to call the FTC and
perhaps 60 Minutes might be interested in shining a spotlight on "Bruce" and his Prize Management Services' activities.  The internet is certainly full of "Bruce" complaints!

Similar call to the above.  Told I was a winner of a new car, etc.
Called a contact at a State official's office and found this to be a scam.  Called Mr. Steven's back at the number he gave me and told him I was informed he was running a scam.  Now he knows....I know.

Have voice id and did not pick up strange number from prize management. Called at 8 pm tonight. "He" left a recording saying he has called now twice in the past two weeks, that I had 48 hours to call him back at 877-548-3960 or I would lose my prize.  Said someone had entered our phone number for winning a new car or one of four top prizes. The man said he was Bruce Stevens. I immediately googled the phone number. I am so grateful for this site. Can't the police do something about these crooks!!

I spoke to someone named Marsel at 708-396-1586 from prize management services and he congratulated me that I was guaranteed to win 1 of the 4 possible prizes: 2009 Lincoln Navigator, $2500, 2 round-trip tickets anywhere in US for next 18 months, or 32" Sony TV.  He said I signed up for an annual giveaway within the last 18 months.  He claimed they could fax me information that this was a state registered giveaway and that there is no purchase obligation.  The only potential cost would be if the gift is > $3K for tax purposes.  But if the prize is < $3K, then there would be absolutely no out of pocket expense from me.  My only requirement was to attend a 90min session on savings options (promotion) and that my ticket would determine the prize I won.  I told him I would think about it.  He called back 2 weeks later and left voicemessage about scheduling that appointment.  When I tried to call back, the recording said "the number... is being checked for trouble".  These people are very convincing that this is a legitimate giveaway program, state registered, can fax documentation, etc... be careful!

I have received 8 calls from people who were called by PMS about a car. They had my home phone number on their caller ids and called me to complain. I tried to get more info from the last person who received the call and was told about pms and the above number. I called to complain and was told it would be taken care of. I've already reported this to my phone company and the local authorities as it is an harassment. These people were rightfully livid and it took two days to try to figure out how they got my home phone number and why they were using it. Apparently, the correct number they wanted people to call was708-389-3203. This is thoroughly screwed up.

I am glad I researched what's going on before actually speaking with them.  Paul has called 3 times and left voicemails in the last 2 weeks stating I have won an SUV. I returned their call and left a message with the operator, and a Milt Hampton from Prize Management Services called back and left a voicemail to call his cell phone (219) 545-8052. After reading this thread, I'm definitely not going to call them back.

Missed the call by a second. Caller ID showed 708-389-3396. Moments later I had a voice mail. Partial message that it is imperative I call "Paul Seed" (?) at 877-844-2964 extension 0. While listening to that message again they left another message, and a third one while I listened to the second recording.

I got that call from Charmain, but didn't answer.  The message said that I won 1 of 4 prizes and two of the prizes were $45,000 or a "fully loaded lincoln navigator" ha This seemed fishy and so immediately googled "prize management services" and found this page.  I had a feeling this was a scam!!...would someone please catch these people.  I have stopped answering wierd numbers like these because they waste my cell phone minutes and my time!  She said to call her back at either 708-385-2899 or 773-658-3925...needless to say I didn't call her back

Awesome info. I too received a call from "Paul", brand new SUV..last attempt to reach me, yada yada... Funny thing is I don't enter contest, period.
I actually live a few towns away from Plymouth, maybe I'll pay 'em a visit and ask "where the %*#! my brand new SUV is" - Have a couple buddies rent police Halloween costumes to accompany me - scam the scammers. lol.
Thanks for the great post "smarter than them", much appreciated.

CONSUMER ALERT!!!

We have received a number of calls from people telling us they got a call informing them they might have won a free trip sponsored by The Only Way to Travel. The Only Way to Travel, Inc. located in Columbus, OH has nothing to do with this "give away" or the company which is promoting it.

After some digging I think I have found the source of these calls.  It is from a company in Plymouth Massachusetts, Only Way 2 Go Travel. The business is located at 225 Water Street, Bldg C, Suite 103, Plymouth, MA 02360. (Outrigger Vacation Club Plymouth Massachusetts also is listed at the same address.) The phone number is 508-830-0800, fax number is 508-830-0802, and the e-mail address is onlyway2gotravel@yahoo.com.PMS is the company Managing the contest. You get a call from someone named Paul at this number, 877-844-2964 who tells you that you have won a prize. When you call that number you will speak to Charmaine who will fill you in on the details and determine whether or not you are gainfully employed. Then it will be off to some timeshare presentation where you will waste more of your precious time.

Someone who had attended the presentation at the address of Only Way 2 Go Travel, told me that it is a time share presentation for Outrigger Vacation Club.  The cost of joining this vacation club is $10,000 and that there are other fees that go along with the membership.  I have no idea if this is correct information or not, I am just passing along the information that was shared with me.

I also found out that Outrigger Vacation Club is located at 1611 South Utica Ave., Ste. 219, Tulsa, OK 74101. The phone number is 877-572-0204, fax number is 877-572-0205.  I did talk to a person at that office who confirmed that Outrigger Vacation Club Plymouth is affilliated with them. The bottom line is that The Only Way to Travel, Inc. located in Columbus, Ohio is in no way affilliated with Only Way 2 Go Travel or Outrigger Vacation Club.

Remember, just like there is no such thing as a free lunch, there is no such thing as a free vacation, there is always a catch.
