I also got this message on Sunday the 17th. The part that immediately tipped me off is that I do belong to Sooper CU and my cell is not associated with those accounts at all. I will be calling Sooper CU and letting them know this phishing is going around.

An sms from 3659.

sms@tmomail.net / VISA "Pending Authorization Notification". For more information please call 1-877-847-4003. Thank you Sooper C.U. /

I actually purchased a car in October of 2008 and this is one of the credit unions that I got a decline letter from ..

Because these messages are coming from sms@tmomail.net they are more that likely sending them to your phone number at tmomail.net. You can log into tmobile.com and select manage my email and it'll have a section where you can edit your tmomail.net address .. If you change it to something other than your mobile number it'll stop these messages.

Wow, did we all receive this scam text at once? I can't believe there are some who would actually call a phone number from a text message and GIVE their credit card number, pin, exp date.

This is why we need capital punishment.  Kill these motherf$%#ers, otherwise they'll just set up a new number and spam another million more people at our expense.  I just can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to fall for this s#!t.

I have received the same message, around once a week, for the last month. I also wonder how they are still able to do this after the FBI was supposed to take care of it? WOW is right.

I work for a bank and I recv-d the same text msg. This is a scam your bank/credit card company would never have you enter in your full card number exp. date and pin number. Just report the number. We get calls from clients about this and who have entered in the card info and later find the card is now being used for fraud. Protect your self and notify your bank as to help others.

Yes, but I am still wondering how come they could reinstate this to-be-shut-off number from the FBI? Is there not a sorting system that should prevent the same company with the same phone number with the same criminal intent? If this is how the FBI works and shutting down phone number...wow. How many are there still out there? I just have to voice my opinion here.

Yes this is a scam.  I have reported to T-Mobile but unfortunately there is no way to stop these messages without turning off your service, the same way there is no way to prevent wrong number calls.  Do not respond or call, just delete the message.  :(

It's not associated with a King Soopers card I can assure you - I no longer live in Colorado and have not shopped at a K.S. in over two years; I just happen to still have a Colorado number on my cell.

I know this is a scam, but what concerns me is that the messages seem to coincide with my shopping trips to King Soopers, are the scammers somehow able to know whenever i use my Sooper card?!
