Repeated calls. I turn my phone off. That works for a while.

Same here, this guys don't stop calling, what it's wrong, can anybody do anything to stop this crap from happening?

I am also getting these calls.  They don't stop.  I don't even have a car, and never signed up *anywhere* to get any insurance quotes.  Someone obviously game them a wrong (my) number, because they're asking for 'John'.  There's a list of different numbers from my area code, and several out of state ones, that have been calling FREQUENTLY, as in every few minutes, since last night.  Some of them identified as State Farm when I answered, or in the voicemails they've left that didn't sound like they were butt-dialed.

Someone is setting up thier caller ID as all these numbers .. I don't ever get calls now get a different calling number with no message about every 30 min..

They even tried one with a local number and someones name to get me to answer.. I added to spam list

The insurance comparison form started at bankrate.com

I filled out (today) form seeking insurance quotes on an insurance comparison web site.  Soon thereafter, I got a call from this number.  They leave no message.  It seems likely (based on searches for this number and the proximity to the quote request) that they are associated with my quote request.

If they want to be legitimate, they should leave a message about who they are, and I will call them back.  They should also provide valid caller id.  Otherwise, they get blocked and ignored.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, NOW I CANT GET RID OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!  JUST KEEP BLOCKING THE NUMBERS I GUESS. LAST RESORT I WILL TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING!

I had a major brain fart yesterday and entered my phone number in some kind of website that was supposedly going to compare insurance rates for me... well it was obv. not legit because I have gotten 11 phone calls from 4 different unknown phone numbers in the past 4 hours. 3 of the calls went to voicemail but hung up without leaving messages. I never even get phone calls on my phone so this is driving me crazy. I'm blocking them all. Also, be careful about clicking on anything about criminal records from Instant Checkmate. I expect a ton of spam from them now, as well.
