A non-existent good deal that has a fraud's string attached to it. No fax machine calls a phone without someone programming it.

I suppose some of them can't stand to pass up a good deal, and they never even stop to think that it could be a scam!

How do we get our money back?

By finding their boiler rooms South East Asia, South Asia, Central America and beating it out of them? I am afraid your money is gone. I don't know why people send their money to some random fraud on the phone.

Wondering if your bank did anything to reverse the transaction, return the amount to you or if they were able to offer you any information as to who the money was sent to? I too fell for it, and feel like such an IDIOT!

I was completely scammed out of 400 dollars and cannot get my money back as it's been too long to contact my credit card company as they put it there's nothing I can do about losing 400 dollars any body help please I just found out I'm pregnant and I need all the money I can get right now .is there anyway that the frauds have been caught yet or anything any of us can do about  anything. it also came in as a fax machine to my job radio shack our boss put it up on the billboard and half of us employees went for it we all lost a great deal of money being 175 dollars per person for this amazing to trip out standing offer.That  I felt was a big scam but our boss told us it was from hr department to all employees because I've never had a vacation in my life ,so we all put in for it.

I received the same fax for a wonderful vacation offer for $199 for an amazing offer to either Cabo, Jamaica, Cancun or Hawaii. I called the toll free number (silly me I didn't keep the original fax so I have no idea what the number is) and I made the "arrangements", at the mandatory "must purchase two for double occupancy" bringing my total up to $450+tax. I now had a year to take advantage of this offer and all I had to do was call "45 days in advance" to book my trip. Nine months pass...hating my job...a light bulb clicked, you do have that vacation package that you could use. I get to looking for the information I wrote down on that post-it in my desk and I find it: www.funinthetropics.com Mark Kelly Ext 311 or Joshua Klein Ext 297 and my "confirmation number". I begin to do a google search to find the number and find out that this "travel agency" is located in Stanford CT...some (203)934-4341. Then the website doesn't exist. Strange. And the funky smells of a scam had begun to linger (Literally smells of doggie fecal matter in this office). I call my good ole bank Citibank, and while I'm "insured" I should have reported this 500 days ago. The scam wouldn't have as high of a success rate if they worked in conjunction with how long you have to file a dispute at your bank...I wanted to say as the Personal Banker gave me the third degree. Now as I patiently wait to receive my letter of determination from my bank authroizing my insured funds be credited BACK to my account or NOT, I write this plea. If you hate your job, it's easier to quit than to look for signs in your day like getting a vacation to Cancun for $199. Sounds silly, not in this economy. HA! So while I may only have my dignity at this point oh and life, I'm passing on this helpful tidbit to help you avoid feeling sheepish and penniless.

The fax is a scam and the company has used airline logos without authorization to add credibility to their claims.  Currently, the agency associated with this program is being sued by two airlines for trademark infringement as well as AAA (American Automobile Association).  American Airlines just received a $4 million judgment against them in December 2011.

I'm actually going to call and say in a creepy sing-song voice "You're going to hell."  One time, every day :)

Other than immediately calling your credit card company, and admitting you were defrauded, or you could tell them you lost your card and need to get it cancelled, nothing.  Depends on how honest you want to be.  But do it now, before they can process the charge.  Good luck.

I called them up and started off with a cheery "Happy New Year" and the guy hung up on me.
I called back again, got a different guy and explained what happened and he hung up on me too.
These guys have balls of brass or something. Obviously, the new year isnt happy enough for them unless they are STEALING your money from you!

My husband also got this, total scam! Luckily I am a housewife with the attitude of a mad pitbull and too much time on my hands. I have been calling them every 30 seconds for at least 6 hours, ahh the wonders of auto dial! They have had theyre phone off the hook for the last two (believe me I am checking). They tried that already for a half hour but I kept calling, then they let it ring, and I let it ring for 10 minutes+ each time until it went back to busy. I will keep calling every 30 seconds every day until the company is shut down. Obvously the BBB isnt doing anything because they have been pulling this scam for at least a year, so I am going to see if I can annoy them into surrender...lol actually I am quite enjoying this, the best part is when they pick up and start cussing me out. I think I am beginning to get through, but if not its ok because I'm drinking a glass of wine and laughing my a** off!

Yes I fell for it too, and I am so embarrassed.  But it is so easy to get wrapped up in the moment.  I called my credit card company right away since I tried to call after I got off the phone with them and it just rang and rang.  Then I looked up the company and "scam" after it and this is what I found.  the best thing to do is call your credit card company right away so you catch it in time...:(

I got scammed out of $450 as of yesterday by this so-called company. I called them today to cancel and was hung up on several times or they said they were American Airlines! My bank says there is nothing to do since I authorized the transaction. The scammers said there are no refunds the times they didn't hang up on me. It was an expensive lesson learned..... I wish these jerks could be taken out!!!
