I'm getting random text messages from these random people/places/companies/websites! Maybe we should list some sites that we entered our phone numbers to find some common place they might've gotten our numbers from.

Has anybody listed their number on facebook to verify your identity by getting a text message? Because I can't think of any other place I entered my cell phone number.

How do I locate their company as there is not cell phone number attached AND they are texting me at 3:00 AM!!  I have sent replies to NOT TEXT ME but they persist!

I received a text from leadedutoday at 3 a.m. on a sunday morning , i knew it was a scam about billions of unclaimed gov't cash. i didn't even think twice about it.So please be aware of them.

I too got a message thanking me for visiting a web site called "msg@leadedutoday.com. I never visited such a website. Naturally rather call the number they said to call, I checked it out here on the Internet through Google. It is a scam. The number they asked me to call was 877-380-8166.
I just called Verizon, my cellphone carrier and they said it is a scam and they are investigating it. There have been thousands of complaints already from their customers.

One thing to do first is call your phone provider and see if these jerks are charging you $9.99 a month.  If you did somehow enter into an agreement with them, your provider probably can't do a thing about it except discontinue your texting for a month or two, then it usually stops.  
I found some of these scams very cleverly camouflaged in some "Job Hunting" sites like USA Jobs, Jobs America and so on.  They come off so good at appearing to be part of the sign-up page that if you don?t see the extremely small, faded ?Pass? option, usually hidden in other text, you?ll type in the information they request and Voila`, you?ve just entered into a third party agreement!

I got a text on my phone, I normally do not have this option on my phone, It Thanks for visiting our site, Get ur $200 Gas Voucher and $20 Gift Card. I don`t know what site it`s from or anything else. I think it is a bunch of bull. We should not have to take this crap.

and they wanted my cc# again so they could look me up...I TOLD THEM NO!!! said it's weird how US weekly mgz has ny info but they dont? WHERE IS MY CARD U PROMISED!!! And the s****y thing is...THEY ARE LIKE PPL FROM FREAKIN INDIA OR SOME S***!!! which is why I got the guys name, repeated it back to him and now today...they have no clue who this guy is. This happened on the 12 and i got the magz on the 22 and today is now the 29. If I get a wlamart card i will let u all know but DON'T DO IT!!!!1

Got a mssg from 888-210-3817 called them today to see what was up...i got a magazine from us weekly like they promised, I know have a membership!!! which I don't want!!! I got a ver. # from the guy who sold me and his name. Now I called them back to see where my walmart card is...and they have no idea who this guy is or what the verf. # is i got. DON'T DO IT!!! It only cost me 1 dollar but still...DON'T DO IT!! if you get a mssg from msg@leadedutoday.com do not respond!!!

I recieved the same message on the 16th of nov, it is crazy how many scam artist are out there...

I did, i had actually done some surveys online and i thought that i had just won something from the survey and didnt think twice about it. then i looked it up, and it's all looking pretty shady to me :( i dont know what to do because i already gave them all the info, so i guess we will see

I got one yesterday from msg@leadedutoday.com asking me to call 888-210-3817. The msg stated I had won a $200 rebate voucher for Wal-Mart. When I looked it up it could not be found on the internet, so when I called the number they wanted $4.95 S&H to send the voucher. I asked them if I would have to give them a credit card number and when they said that I would, I told them it was a scam and also what it said when I tried to look it up. I also told them no one should have to pay for something that they won when it can be sent by regular mail and if they wanted me to have it that bad they could take the $4.95 S&H out of the $200 voucher. She didn't exactly know what to say, so then I told them that I was going to report them and hung up. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!

i opened the text and read it, sounds too much like those 'offers' on internet sites where you have to do the offers to get something - which is really a waste of time - entered the address on computer which lead me to this site.  Always somebody trying to figure out how to rip off somebody else.  Why don't they get a real job, they probably wouldn't expend near as much energy doing an honest days work as they do trying to scam everybody.  I didn't even go to any website that mentioned thier address/name or anything.  Just skipped over and declined offers at a job search site.  I am tired of people always trying to scam me - I don't have a job, money,or credit cards so stop bothering me!!
