They called me today and when I said right up front that I won't give money, the woman got VERY ugly with me and accused me of not caring about autistic children.  Told me I was rude.  I just said, "I won't be giving anything."  She was VERY nasty.  I hate these solicitations.  

I am on a do not call list too.

Stinks.

Same thing here. 4 times this morning, first one at 9:15 am, no message at all. They even called my husband cell phone. Please no more calls. Take me off your list!!!

I am getting the same thing from this number that many other people have said. They are calling my home number repeatedly throughout the day. Yesterday it was 4 times, today its been 2 so far. I've tried calling the number, get a long spiel about what they do, and you can leave a message. Press 0 at any time, and you can interrupt the recording. It asks you to enter the extension of the person you are trying to reach, or press * for the directory, or 0 for the operator. Press * and you get a message that says "That is not a valid entry" (of some sorts, not verbatim), then says goodbye and hangs up on ya. Pressing 0 gets you to nobody, and it disconnects the call. Careful with that one, pull the phone away from you ear. You get the buzzer sound when the line is left off the hook too long. I will be contacting the FCC on this. I suggest other people to do the same thing. Use user "annoyed" entry to give to the FCC. Like I told them, harassment will not be tolerated!!!

upon contacting the number listed in the above site, a woman answered the phone very casually.  she had an arabic accent, but claimed to be "from brazil".   she said that "The Autsistic Children of America" foundation her husband's but he "cannot talk now because he is driving in his car".   By the way if you look at the link you will notice that the company expired 11/30/2012.  I let her know that I was going to inform law enforcement.   Again, it is a fraud.  Here is the info along with their home phone number.

Caller called at 0830 / 1040 / 1320 ... All today on 28DEC12.  Rings a few times and then I answer and no one responds.  Annoying to say the least!  Number states its an 800 service ... Callback states its a wrong number each time.

here is the link to the company......   when they call i do not answer toll free calls, so i called back the number using *67.  they go into a lengthy detailed message of what they do and who they are.  when given the option to press * for directory it says that this feature is not available.  when given the option to connect to the operator by pressing 0, it disconnects...

I do not answer toll free calls, but called the number back (using *67). They allege that they are with the "Autistic Children of America" and go into a very detailed description (ie: a giving tree, how funds are spent etc).  However when you press * for the menu it says "this feature is not available," and when you press 0 for operator it hangs up

Just got a phone call and a female talked, asking for a contribution for the autistic children.  They wanted a credit card number and I refused to give that out but told them I would send a check after they sent me some info on this.  supposedly they are registered so I will check on this and see.  Bottom line, don't answer any of these 855 #'s.

got called at 8:01 pm which is against state law in arizona reported them to fcc since I am on do not call list and had asked then before to remove me.  charity for autism

no message just hung up, BUT the call came at 8:33 PM which if you ask me is way to late in the evening to be calling anyone unless its very important apparently some people DON"T understand DO NOT CALL LIST

The woman from that number is annoying.  She calls asking for my husband.  I ask who she is what she wants.  She says she's I don't remember the name.  It's a courtesy call.  A courtesy call for what?  Oh we're looking for a donation for kids with cancer.  I said take this number off your list we're on do not call.  She says I'll later when your husband can talk. That was one day.  Same number come up again today.  Go through the same thing.  This time she tells me it's for autistic kids.  That's when I flew off the handle. Swore at her.  Called her some real foul names.  Said don't the f call this number again  b-tch.  I put the number in call block.

Called back and got a recording...is a fundraising company for Autistic children

The call from is number left a voice mail, starting with a recording then a masculine voice calling a female's first name and last name several times, saying hello, hello. No one here by that name. Did not leave a call back number.

WOW THE CALLS ARE STARTING AGAIN,  DO YOU WANT TO SEND ME A CHECK BECAUSE I HAVE ADULT  A.D.H.D. ??????????? IF SO PLEASE CALL AGAIN, OTHER WISE DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN.

They've called me a few times.  There is no one on the other end, they never leave a voicemail, and if it goes to message they don't leave one.  I called the number back and it is some organization for Autism.
