If your smart stay away from this Company like the first guy said there nothing but a SCAM. I sent $1250.00 by MONEY GRAM to get a loan and got nothing in return.The second guy said he got a loan with EASY STEP FUNDING he is full of it this came from a person working for EASY STEP FUNDING SAYING THEY GOT A LOAN. THEY ALSO HAVE ANOTHER NUMBER 876-250-7991 THE PERSON THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE SAYS HIS NAME IS MR.GRAY DON'T BELIEVE IT ALSO STAY AWAY FROM ANOTHER PERSON CALLED. HOPE HICKERSON.I had friends in JAMAICA THEY WENT AND CHECKED OUT THERE ADDRESS. 35 TRAFALGAR RD.KINGSTON 10 JAMAICA GUESS WHAT NO EASY STEP FUNDING AT THIS LOCATION.

To Applegate, you actually got money from them?  How much did you have to pay out of pocket, first?  Every time I talk to them they want more money for something.  Insurance, default protection, wire fee, international transfer fee, and on and on.  They have had my money for weeks and will only answer the phone if I hide my caller ID.

Hi Sucker, i was fortunate to obtain a $20,000 Loan From Easy Step....It took me three weeks of negotiating, i was very angry with them for that, because they told me i should've gotten it within 24hrs. Also i had to send them more money. My Experience was frustrating but the end result was fruitful.

In the classic sense, I was suckered out of my money.  This phone number is for Easy Step Funding Company in Kingston, Jamaica (although their IP address says California).  They offer bad credit loans, and they "approved" me for $5000.  But, I had to pay for the 'default insurance policy' that you've seen other scams ask for.  I said no, and then waited a few months and kept searching on the internet about them.  I never found any derogatory information about them being a scam, fraud, whatever.  I was given the option of securing the loan with a vehicle if I had one 2010 and newer with a clear title.  After a while I wondered if maybe they were legit, because surely I'd find something online about them.  So I caved and sent them $500.  Everything's a go now, they said.  Very smooth.  They called and said the lender backed out, so they were shopping other lenders, but the others wanted more money and he understood that I didn't have any more money.  It will fund tomorrow.  The last minute of tomorrow, he calls and says he needs another $500.  Why did I do that?  I searched again on the internet under the name, address, phone number, web page, and never found anything suggesting they were a scam.  But here I am, having just given away my last $1000, and have nothing to show for it, other than some official looking documents I signed via email.  It then dawned on me that maybe I couldn't find anything was because they were new!  Starting over again under a new name, etc.  So, if that's the case and I'm just the first of many, I wanted to get this information out there.  If anyone has had a good experience with them, please let me know!
