They want to scam 2000 bucks from my elderly mother. She won't believe me that it is a scam because the scammers tell her they are legit. Does anyone have advice on how to convince her NOT to hand over 2000 for "help" selling her timeshare?

I just got a call from Innovative International. the so called General Manager Mark Turner, told me that my timeshare was sold and that they will call me in half hour and that the contract would be sent to my mail address. I should give them my credit card number so they can charge $1,999 fully refundable deposit.
I was told that their number is 1-877-855-7778 but i received the call from number 631-649-4200

Received call from 631-649-4200 3 days in a row. I ignored it but they left no voicemail. I decided today to answer. they said they had a buyer for my timeshare and charged no up front fees. I asked them what they called their fees (membership, legal, title search etc) and he actually yelled at me saying that if I wasn't interested they will sell someone else's timeshare to their buyer and hung up on me. Curiousity got the better of me so I called the number back to see who they were. I got a voicemail saying to call 877-855-7778 and that's how I found all of this. They've gotten creative with what they call their fees now saying that they are NOT up front fees although you are required to pay them up front...total scam no matter what they call it

Thanks so much for the warning. They called me today saying they had a buyer for my timeshare.
Because of these posts I confronted them. They hung up on me.
Major Scam. Thank god I lost no money.

I had no ideal that they were a scam. I had replied to them and they took $2000 dollars from my credit card. Any suggestion, on how to get my money back?

The number is from Innovative Resorts International. It is a scam timeshare company. Stay away from them.
