As soon as i  received this card today I immediately goggled it. No one should ever take anything like this serious without checking into it first. Thank you all for posting so others will see what a scam this green card is. God will  bless us in an honest way try and remember that.

I got the same card today which is may 15th 2014.. same 1877# in the amount of 20,978... I sure wish it wasn't a scam lol :)

scam!!!!

I received a postcard in the mail today. The post card stated what everyone has been saying. The only difference is that the toll free number is not the same as some others! It is 1-877-857-6286. I called and asked questions twice both times they hung up the phone. I asked if they had a web site that I could check out. I also told them I was not giving my credit card information over the phone.

My question was for those who had asked. You had mentioned these people getting a job. Preying on stupid people is their job. They have our name & address to weed out the ones they're looking for. I received a card & I just moved to my address!

Anyone that get something like this in the mail should realize right away that it's a scam. These people are sitting at home collecting money for S/H from people who is stupid enough to send it to them from a bogus Claim Department. These people made this scam their Job because there are more stupid people than intelligent all over the world! Do you really need to ask if it's a scam?

I received this green card as well amount 20978.00 I decided to do some research before calling it went in the grinder

Either get on the Do Not Call List or get an air horn and blow in the phone when they call!!!!

I got green card, #18778576286 /  claims department wonted visa card $ 12.95 fir shipping handling ,no name / permit number. ,but wasnt confronable giving credit card out to person i dint know,si said send me imformation,then ill consister believing them.,and hung up.I really need this ,but ive been scammed ti many times.

It is absolutely and definitely a scam.  I did not put in for anything like this and I got the little green card too.

Got the same green card...  I called just to question them myself. .. what a shock!!! (Sarcasm)...... the foreign woman on the line couldn't tell me exactly where this funding was coming from, or how I was chosen,  or what government was funding this for that matter....
I told them where to go, how to get there, and what they could do when they reached their destination.

I'm sorry about your needs. The fact is you're  being played by frauds. Now you know that. I suspect you knew that.

Got the same card and for me I really need the money im a struggling mother of a special needs child and they are playing with my emotions forreal

I recieved the green card in the mail yesterday so i decided to call and see what it was about same amount as everyone else 20,978. who would ignore it right so i gave him a call they said they need the fee for shipping and handling so i went to walmart and got a prepaid visa card because i REFUSE to give someone my actual debit card number because that, your address and your name is all they need to charge your acct up, so i call back meanwhile i can hear kids yelling in the background as if he was at home. Then he is telling me that he is writing my card info down 0_o im thinkin wtf really anyway they wouldnt accept the prepaid card i only had the $12.95 on there that tells me that it is a scam they need a card that can be charged. HUNG UP! HATE SCAMMERS IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE 9 TIMES OUTTA 10 IT PROBLEY IS

I got one (grean card)  today n thank God all mighty n savior that I Google this thing  to see what was it about n have read all ur comments n after I did I tored it up in pieces n threw it in dumpster,,,,  f*** these scammers ain't nobody going to defraud me!

Got my green card today!  But it must be my lucky day, because my mailbox also had a free cruise for two in it.  Even though you know it's always a scam... I'm pissed about the three seconds I spent day dreaming of being in the bahamas with an extra 20 grand to my name.

I got the same green card in my po. Box and it said our office is trying to reach you regarding a dispersal of a goverment funding pending amount $20,978 doe verify by phone (status pending) and it says please indicate what funds will be used for debt pay - off business start up education travel home improvement other. Toll free 1800-321-6563 it has a release code number and claim deadline august 8,2013 and the green card says it's a first class u.s. postage paid from chicago I L. Is this real or just a scam I thank this is a scam so im going to let the cops handle this for me

TOTAL SCAMMERS!  877-857-6286 - sent a green card to my dad who almost fell for the scam!  Thank goodness he called me and asked me about it!  These scams are getting so bad that, I swear, I'm going to have to redirect his mail and go through it and shred the scams before he gets taken for real money!

I received a green card today in my mail box 02-25-2013.it was sent first class and stating that Our office is trying to reach you regarding a dispersal of Government funding.the status also shows PENDING in the amount of 20,978 DOE(verify by Phone) call toll Free 1-877-857-6286.i was calling them from my own cell phone,my neighbors cell phone then i went down the road to use my friends house phone still couldnt get through i dont know whats going on but this isnt right because the bottom of the green card said WARNING: $2,000 fine and/or 5 year imprisonment for interfering or obstructing with delivery,of this letter,US Mail Security,1708..i think if this is a scam for someone for catch these people.i so want to throw away the letter but it stated that WARNING i wouldnt want to go prison just because of a letter i throw away, also how can they use GOVERNMENT FUNDING(DOE) i dont think thats right at all..this is messed up and f****d up i just hope someone catch them and put there a***s AWAY...
