I get a phone call several times a day from this number to my cell phone and they never leave a message. I am not going to call back because I don't know who they are...how did they get my number?  Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc.

I've been getting random calls from people for the person who use to have this number for a year. Finally answer this number since they call a few times daily and some woman speaking Spanish asks for a Doug. After switching to English, she tries to tell me how to answer the phone, being extremely rude. I then tell her "well you call all the time, maybe you should've realized through my voicemail this is a female's phone. Just please stop calling.". Right then she says "well I'm deleting this number" in a snarky voice but before she could finish... click. I better not ever get any more calls. Didn't even start off saying where/what she was calling for, which is just fishy to begin with.

Calling asking for personal information for no reason. They need to be stopped immediately!!

Please remove my and my husbands number from this list! I don't know where they got it and what they want. They are secretive and very rude asking me all kinds of personal questions and not telling me why they are calling me.

Okay, I just got off the phone with the Atty. General and although the call you are receiving seems to be from Financial Services Asset Management Systems Inc. it IS NOT. There are some scammers  who are trying to get you to give them your personal info and credit card # or send them money and they are pretending to be the real business  Financial Services Asset Management Systems Inc., which is in fact a legitimate company who collects debt for student loans. If you are like me and have never had a student loan and are getting this call try calling the number from another phone, because when you call from the phone they called you on these scammers are able to reroute your to their call center (usually overseas) bypassing the real company,  and when you get the real Financial Services Asset Management Systems Inc. on the phone ask them if they have any records on you, in most cases they probably won't and you will know this is a scammer trying to get your info. Don't give them any sensitive info just ask them to look up your name and your name and the phone # you received the phone call on. For further peace of mind, check your credit report. If you really have a debt that has gone to collection it will show up there. And Please report these crime to the Atty. General in your state.  Also when they call back say nothing but "this is a scam " and hang up.

I have been getting these calls, too, for about a month now. Like many of you have said, I have never had any debt collectors after me, so there is no question it's a scam. Is there somewhere specific to report it?

We contacted the KS State Attorney's office and this is a total scam. They threaten to put you injail if you dont give them money. They use to call her about another person and when that didnt work they call back with more names. Soon as they find out who's phone it is they start saying it was for that person. These people are nothing but pond scum!

bad times these days, make it easier on yourself. If they do not quit calling write certified letter and make them go to the mail box to talk to you. If they call after that file suit and get some of your money back.

They left a message (without stating my name) on my GrandCentral number (which NO ONE has except my family).

YOu keep thinking that.  There are people that get on list and have NO bills or may have had somethings in the past and are still getting calls.  So don't speak too soon my friend.

When they call my phone they ask for me by name then they ask me
to verify my address and my social security number, they want me to give
them this information over the phone, NO WAY!! If this is a bill collector then
they should already have my address and social security number, When I ask
them what this phone call is concerning they tell me they can not discuss anything
with me until I give them my address and social security number. This sounds like a good
way of identity theft if you ask me. Wake up people this is not a very good way to
do business. GET A LIFE!!!!!

These dinks call me 4 times a day. When I pickup it just hangs up..I just got this number 2 months ago and its starting to tick me off.

yes i get calls from this number four to six times a day and they won't say anything just listen to me say hello then hangs up.it needs to stop. if you are a bill collector have some respect when using the phone.

Nothing left on the answering machine and Im tired of getting these calls at 830 at night when my child and myself are asleep

initially, i had to google this number to find out who was calling.  a computerized msg was left with an undiscernable name of the person with whom the company was attempting to reach.  it seems as though collection agencies attempt to contact its debtors by computer before a live person initiates the collection attempt(s).

I pay my bills , but I do not pay my ex-s . And the companies who loan money should make sure who they loan money too. He has given out my number his new wife has used my name, and he has sold my name to some woman from Mexico. I refuse to try ad strighten this out and I refuse to pay the bill.
The caller was unknown and left no message.
So attonery's should NOT include SS# and DL# when getting a divorce.

I am responsible and pay my bills. Numbers like this call me looking for other people - and they call my cell phone during daytime hours, which has a cost to me associated with it.  When they've asked for a specific name, they have only used a first name, not first and last or "Mr. so-and-so," which would be highly unprofessional of a legitimate company.  Then when I asked what it was regarding, they got short with me, and when they found out that I wasn't person they were looking for (first name only), they hung up on me without apologizing for getting the wrong number, no "have a nice day, bye" or anything like that.  This is not legitimate and I suspect a scam.  Call your phone provider and have the number blocked.  Or, you could call them back repeatedly to cost them money since it is a toll-free number.
