We duped Bell Canada a month ago after being with them 46 years. Prices kept going up and service down. Switched to cable for internet and phone (we're in the sticks with poor cellular coverage) and now pay $100.70 instead of Bell's $182.99! First they called (from the Philippines) on a Bell number and we said NO! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE HAVE BELL!

Now these calls from 18778668880 have started. No messages left. We ignore ALL "unknown name" calls!

Caller: We see that you have TV/Internet/Cell Phone with Bell.
Me: Correct
Caller: To increase your bundled discount, we are offering you to add a Home Phone to your bundle.
Me: Seriously, its 2014 and you are asking me to bring in a land-line phone into my house.
Caller: It would increase your savings
Me: Nobody orders Home Phone these days.  Get with the program.  Do you have something else than the obsolete Home Phone to offer ?
Caller: let me see....nope
Me: Well good luck to you offering this dated technology to others.

I received a call from these pricks too!!!, nothing will get done, until, the phone companies are held responsible.. The government makes money off off telemarketers, for the government won't ban it.. this whole society it corrupt and on the take.. It will stop when money cannot be made anymore or there is such a world wide out cry, in order to save their collective a***oles and stay in power will they ban telemarketers, and f****rs like them.. Not until then!!!

here is a good idea.... harass your current customers to buy more from your inflated priced services... bad enough we spend a ton for the current third world quality service bell provides they have to try to trick us into buying more.

I phoned Bell last week about this number when they first started calling here

The agent checked the number and found that is was a number they used to use but have not for years

she was at a loss as to who is using it

checked all their numbers including the ones they do not give out to customers and by their records it is not active

submitted a report in to figure out why someone is using it

while Bell is not covered by The Do Not Call Registry you can call them and they will stop solicitation calls

I did that 10 yrs ago and do not receive any

I blocked their number on my phone. The phone rings once or twice then hangs up. (These dumb bells, that's a pun) still can't figure it out and keep calling

If you've dealt with Bell in the past, the Do Not Call registry will not apply to them.

I get this number calling between 4 to 6 times a day I never answer it but from the comments i have read it is from Bell I was gonna switch to bell for everything internet phone tv I changed my mind and stayed with my current provider Ive gotten nothing but junk mail and calling everyday If they want to keep customers  Stop harrassing us  I had Bell as a landline for 20 yrs They wouldnt give me a deal like my current provider does

me too - it is getting annoying and that is reason enough to never switch back to Bell

Very fed up - if this is from Bell - since my Internet is Bell - my being on the Do Not Call list makes no difference.  I did switch to another company for my home phone and even if I switch Internet, the line may be Bell or the techician may be Bell.  
They call in the evening and at lunch, and on weekends.  We have ill family members and i work from home - my telephone is for serious communication.  I don't know how these people sleep at night.  Oh wait they don't - they are up making calls around the clock from around the world.  

Stop calling or I am going to take legal action.  Will NEVER EVERE deal with Bell Canada again.  Do they not realize how this hurts their business.

Bell Canada......they call about 6 times every single day....even as late as 9:00 pm!  How do we get thento stop?!

Calls often, leave a message - never.  If this is Bell Canada, why are you calling me?  When I was your customer you didn't want me and now that I left, you want me back.  I don't think you could get me back - ever.

they call me 4 or 5 times a day every day and there is only silence on the line when I pick up......it's beyond ridiculous....if it's Bell then they must be stupid enough to think they can sell their service without saying anything at all.

I actually called bell with the 866 number and waited until i got someone on the line.  He actually told me to google "international do not call list canada"     and i was able to put in all my phone numbers.  and in 31 days, you should be off most of the lists.. there are no guarantees you will never get a telemarketer again, but it will cut all the crap down for sure.

Today January 31st, 2014 Friday I received 3 calls from 1 877 866 8880 respectively 12:28pm, 15.38pm and 17.56 pm . It  is really nonsense. Please do not disturb seniors and not make them sick. It is serious problems for my family. If we  get call from this number I will report to police department .

Just got a call now - it is 21:30 At night! And I have a sleeping baby at home. Someone needs to complain

These Bell telemarketers call constantly.  Twice a day for the past two weeks.  Seem "NO" is not in there vocabulary. I switched from Bell to Rogers about a year ago.  Will NEVER go back to Bell especially now with these harassing calls.

Same with switching to another company - since then been getting at least a call every other day! Ridiculousness.

I've been getting tons of phone calls from that number too (twice a day). I usually answer and then hang up right away or I answer and then wait until they hang up...Doing the latter, at least I keep them from bugging other people.

Yes, it is apparently Bell Canada.  It is strange because we have been with Bell Canada for the last 40 years.  They always want to sell us something that will make us save some money....Strange....If I save money, Bell is making money???? They think people are stupid?    On top of that, they are not able to find some salespeople who will talk to me in French, my mother tongue and one of the 2 official language of Canada.

It's a scame you pick your phone and someone has tap in to your phone i got a phone bill of $ 500,00. I have call Bell Canada.  Someone did tap in to my phone now the cop are looking in to.   It's someone from over sea.

They continue to call even after being asked to stop several times.
Now, I answer the call and just leave the phone on the counter until they finally hang up.
Since they continue to waste my time, I now return the favour.
