This was a prerecorded customer service call from ATT. It was a very creepy voice. How can this sell anything?

I AM SO SICK OF AT&T! I get calls from this F**** number 3 times per day minimum! Never anybody there. I have called them twice to get my number removed and they either have put me on hold forever or told me they need a code from my bill to take the number off of the calling list. BU***HIT! I am cancelling my service with them for EVERYTHING!!!!

Oh, that's from AT&T? I don't know that. Almost everyday I get a call from that number. Sometimes when I'm not at home, my father thinks that's the call from the police >_<, since he doesn't know English.

Apparently, per ATT, it may be a glitch with eBill. Do you pay your bills online? I do. It's a computer problem either way. The office you are forwarded to is in Texas (I am in California) and they had no idea the first time I called. I have been speaking with this woman at ATT pretty much all day because she has been getting quite a few of these complaints. I hope they get this figured out but you should definately call the number back and complain to rush the fix.

hrm... based on Shannon's comment, if this is a glitch with eBill then perhaps it's a good sign that I just started getting these calls today. I signed up for eBill earlier this week, and I guess this means it's already processed.
Still worthy of the report to the FCC for the "dead air" calls. Doesn't matter if it's a computer glitch, the company is still required to fix it.

We are treating it like a scamnumber since we called AT&T and they dont know anything about the promotion that was offered by the caller from this number after we checked up on it by calling the customer service dept from the number on my billing statement. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO!! If you can block the number block it.

I started getting calls from this number today. I searched the number online and got nothing. A search of area codes for (877) said it was a call from Canada or Jamaica, its a toll free number (for them) but the call recepient in the United States gets charged. Better check your bill if you've actually answered this caller.

This number call at least twice a day over the last month or more. I don't answer it because I don't recognize who it could be. When my answering machine picks it up it just hangs up. Will this ever stop?

Do not have e-bill and get these calls apparently because we have AT&T phone service. Never leave a message and we don't answer unknown callers.

Have received numerous calls from this company. On 3/3/09 at 2:45pm, 3/6 at 5pm, 3/11 at 3:35pm, 3/13 at 12:55pm, 3/16 at 5:36pm, 3/18 at 1:57pm, and 3/19 at 2:48pm. Name displayed on Caller ID was "877 Services". It seems to me that a legitimate company would identify itself on caller ID if they wanted their call answered. Since our telephone number is unlisted, we believe that the calls are being generated by an autodialer. If anything this is nothing more than harrassment. Calling someone's home repeatedly, and basically DEMANDED that we speak to them.

AT&T has got to be the worst run company. I receive no less than 3 calls a day from them trying to change my service. When I ask to speak to their supervisor they stall. Wake up people. They are all outsourced jobs and are calling from India. I finally got one of them to fess up after I caught his accent coming out. They don't seem to care that I am on the DNC list. Usually within seconds of my hanging up on them, they call on my other line. I don't buy that they are just doing there jobs. May a plague strike them all.
AT & T better to spend your time improving your horrible service and constant call dropping. Take out a few less ads and spend the money to upgrade your system.
The phone company calls are no different than telemarketer and just as despicable

Do not advertise with At&t yellow pages, they lie!
They say one thing and when you get the contract is something very different and they will not stop the contract.
