This must be spoofing of a legitimate phone number.  When you Google this phone number, it comes back as belonging to Verizon's Unlawful Call Center:  http://www22.verizon.com/Support/Residential/ ... neral/95622.htm

An unknown call only comes under the Do Not Call law if the caller is trying to sell you something via telemarketing..

I got 4 calls today from this number on my rotary phone 877-872-2348.  Would anyone know what this is or where coming from?

I keep getting phone calls from that number.

This person keeps calling my elderly mother. The lst eime this person called very early in the  morning. This persion is getting to the point that when my mother tells him not to call he threatens her. He already said that he was comming to her house and "take care of her", I was there when this phone call came. I am ready to adk for police protection for my mother. I do kno what this caller will do. Please look ino this situaton for me!!!!   My mother's health is in jeopardy.. Thank YOu

A recording calls my home phone several times a day stating that they have an important message for me.
Today I picked up and hit 1 for a live person.  "Ed" said that he had a personal message for me.  Am I she?  He would not state his last name or the nature of the call.  When I pushed for information, he hung up.
Please make it stop.

I thought the number you posted was a legit # with Verizon?? This is the number they told me to call when I put a trace on unwanted call ( *57).

At 7:45am on January 9, 2009, a scruffy-voiced caller called my law office telling me he had criminal defense and personal injury work for me to do. He bypassed my receptionist by refusing to talk to her, so she passed the call directly to me. The caller said he represented members of a union and that his members needed legal help from me. He asked whether I do criminal or personal injury work. I said "No". He asked me if I do DUI's. I said "no". He then called me a liar because I did a DUI for his cousin last week. He used the f-word and said "no wonder people hate you lawyers". He hing up the phone.

I suspect someone who wanted to track my movements made this call to check on my whereabouts. I am privy to significant criminal activity taking place and the parties involved want to track my movements.

I am getting calls from this above number and they hang up the moment I answer
