Received a call from this number: 406.206.9833. Threatening me with a summons. Call back number he left was 888.470.7870.
Website claims they are a "financial solutions" company.
After a few questions the woman I spoke to said they had the wrong person and would remove my number from their call list.

Debt collectors cannot take your children. They also can't put you "immediately" in jail. They can get a judgment from your local court and proceed from there... but they cannot take your children for unpaid old debt.

Yes also today my brother who is mentally challanged recieved this phone call from the same number telling him he had missed court appts in MT, so he called me all upset i checked it out and it is all a big scam, expecially since we live on the east coast and he doesnt even drive much less travel or even have the ability to apply for a loan or other debt, best thing to do is if you recieve a call from this number, block it
Elspeth 2014-06-05 00:01:42 Unknown
They're scammers. Debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you've defaulted on a loan, you cannot be arrested. In fact, to threaten you this way is a violation of federal law. And, per federal law - the FDCPA - you should not pay any caller who refuses to mail - do not accept email or fax - proof of debt/proof your caller has the legal right to collect said debt. Refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their first call is another violation of federal law. In other words - no written, verifiable proof of debt means they can go pound sand - per the FDCPA.
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0258-fake-debt-collectors
Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:
is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.
If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.
Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

This morning around 8 or 9 the same people from Michael michael green and associates called my sister and said my mom had missed out on court summons and owe them money over three grand! They said we couldn't litigate but in court settlement would be the full amount whereas out of court would be almost a grand! Luckily I looked them up and they are SCAMMERS!!!!!!! I check the mail everyday and every envelope and there has never been a court summons for my mother, who does NOT even speak or understand English and has no longer received a jury summons for the past years!
I also study the law and found it bizarre that they would call and pressure my mother about her court summons when she had received none. Total B***S***!!!!!!
They even tried to act like they were the debt collector. Two names: Allison Hall 406-206-9833/888-470-7870 and Carrie Allice ext. 575. We were 'charged' with breach of contract and malicious....GET A LIFE SCAMMERS!

i had received a call last friday and a woman by the name of Angie Hill said i was going to have my children taken away & i would be summoned to court because of a debt i hadnt paid 10 years ago! she scared the living hell out of of me. told me to call the 855 number. the number she called from was 406-468-1003
. i then spoke with brenda, i spoke with Corey Grant. who is a complete a***ole. i want my f****n money back. only reason i paid it without a written letter is because i was threatened to have my children taken from me and i would immediately be put in jail.

Gunnar, despite your crueel assertations of our first encounter. I've come to the conclusion you were trying...to protect this community forms shills, and thought I was one for whatever reason. I'm going to go out on a limb and bury this hatchet, and pray brothers in arms can get along at the very least. Don't make me out to be an idiot here by doing this.
FatherOfThree 2014-02-25 03:44:39 Unknown
In response to the first part of your post, they troll these sights and search for their information on here, once they find it. The move offices, change numbers, hire/fire employees. Ect ect.
FatherOfThree 2014-02-25 03:05:39 Unknown
Also, I do appreciate the insight you offered and although I haven't read it yet, I am fairly certain on how to proceed already. I have quite a bit more information, and hope that we are able to either trade or that I can add to the pool you already have. I'll check back again tomorrow.

Just how do you think this bunch of frauds is going to come on this site & change your info? You've been called out!
Explain to us this line of thought that prevents you from letting us know what you claim to know about some bottom-feeding fraud-vultures hiding out in Charlotte!
If you think that trying to make these scum-bags sound bad is going to increase their take, you've just seriously miscalculated. We're not all a bunch of keyboard warriors here. I'm very well known here. I don't even try to hide. My name is Gunnar & my primary residence is in NC. How many Gunnars do you think live in NC? Tell your boss & his boys to look me up! Hell, tell them to Google me. Then tell them that folks like me welcome visits from wanna' be gangstas'. This is the Blue Ridge pal. That little Nine on your bosses belt will make him look like a fool bringing a knife to a gun fight. The people here are all licensed to carry & only the women carry a little Nine. I prefer the Steyr model M in .357 Sig. Google it Hot-shot!
I also happen to own a small construction company. Just a bunch of good ol' boys with a deep sense of honor & a fierce sense of loyalty. Playing with me or one of mine would result in a tragic occurrence that the local law enforcement would quickly determine to be a justifiable use of deadly force.
You're on a site with people who are vastly more educated than you are. Most are in an income bracket that your boss will never even dream of attaining. We have the time & resources to pursue any fraud that pisses us off. Try us! Threaten us! It's been done. We're still here & those that cross a certain line never seem to return with anymore BS.
If you want to dump in a litter-box that's not yours, you'd better be ready for critters that are going to take great offense. You'll know them. They'll be screaming things like Semper Fi and various other Latin phrases that you won't recognize. As for me, I'll probably mumble something that sounds like ssshinnn bettt & then further confuse the water by telling you to...
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar

They purchase information from debtors or companies that have accrued the information, normally its on old loans, so buying the information is extremely cheap. Example;QC holdings, or 'quikcash' will loan a person, or persons money, and whether it is paid or not, they will allow the debt t go uncollected for x amount of years, then sell the information for a cheap profit. Usually the fraudulent collectors have about 4 years to collect. In many states the statute of limitations on paper loans is ten years, after that time the loan and collection time is voided. Once they have the papers, they begin to harass the consumer, usually with automated calls, which are illegals, see. The telephone consumer protection act of 1991 current version is 47 USC 227, I forget e rest f what you ask, and I'm using my tablet so that's why I can't bring it up.... anyways you asked about it a woman....There are two men who run the company, yes one of their names is Cory grant, the other I feel I can't post here. There is no woman by the initials you gave, might be a ''shake name''.
