Yikes!  I sure didn't do my homework!  About an hour ago I signed up for the program, and THEN went looking for information about it. Geesh!  What an idiot I can be.  I called my bank and cancelled my credit card.  I'm hoping they don't even get the $2.97 outta me!

i wanted to get this going but when it came to the merchant form i filled it out but since i am over drawn in my checking account my application was denied, guess this is not a sure fire work at deal, is it? i saw this report on the local tv news in south texas, they even wrote a nice report on how a local woman made over 5k a month, others made from 75$ to 288$ in a week, so is this really a scam?

344am  in Miami: Look what time it is I just came from withdrawing the last 400 in my acct before these [removed:lang]. I followed my gut insinct and didn't go thru the entire process after the fee for 2.97 or whatever that initial fee was. When I got the free acct , I couldn't go any further until I pay $45 and some change to start "making some MONEY", So that's when I decided to do further reseach because skepticism kicked in after my dumb a** paid that $2 and some change...boy boy thank God for you all& this website because this site has been quite useful in the past. I came across everyone's comment& began LMMFAO I LOVE IT! I called all the numbers provided to cancel the initial fee and it sounded the same guy for all of them and he stated that he has cancelled the $2.97 fee of course i ddnt believe him and went to take $out for the weekend before i can block my Credit card for any further transaction from them. LOL i'm LMAO because life is too short to be upset over lack of research;next time I will continue with my paranoia ways and always research for everything. I will be on their a** bout mine! Thanks guys

same thing here. i was so stupid that i ignore my instinct. i was embarrassed by my stupidity. i felt guilty so i traced my acct. to cancel my purchased of $2.97. it leads me,to this no. 1 800 877 783 4160.
the guy richard said i will receive 5  issues of US magazine for free just for subscribing. so i then called the magazine to cancell any mailing, true enough , the service rep said they are not affiliated to the dca.com. to clear my worries i cancelled my acct. no. too. i worked on to GET EVEN with these SCUMBAGs. to all out there who are not a victim yet. THINK TWICE . they are smart but we will Outsmart them.

P,S don't believe the given confirmation no. or unsername codes, tell them thier number has been traced to the gov't. private link

Someone hacked into my son's email acct, and got my email address. That person addressed me as "mom" and pretended to be him telling me how much money he was making. I thought it was odd since we had all been together the two days before and he never mentioned this company. After authorizing the $2.97 on my debit card I called the bank and canceled the card. The more I thought about it the more it didn't seem right. What a scam! My son has had to clean out his email address book and start over. I hate thieves.

I just called the number after 4 hours of signing up! I canceled and hopefully will not get charged like I have heard on this web site. Any advice would be great! I actually found the l advertisement on a local newspaper online ad so I thought it was legit. I even signed up to use the web site.

i just want to add that the guy had  really bad english...i believe he was calling from India or Pakistan...and so i asked him where he was calling from, because he made me nervous..wanting my bank acct # so 'he could direct-deposit into my acct"...of course i refused...but he repied that he was in California...and i don't believe that for one second...even the 'manager' i spoke to had crummy english...

PHEW!! we all could use a little extra cash, but i hate when people try to steal what i have!! grr!

this number strikes me oddly, there was a recent transaction taken out of my account and the number attached in reference to the transaction was 800 426 9694, I call this number and its a sex hot line, and theres no way to connect to customer service, it claims to be unavailable at this time.. now the transaction was reported to fraud.. im trying to get a lead on whom this person is whos taking peoples money... i need all the info i can get on them... the transaction said 134.67 taken out by Excelpro      8004 just like that... now when i look at the numbers closely 8004 is the beginning of the number 800 426 9694.. im at a loss of words but this has been disputed to the bank and there is a fraud alert out for this number... i think they may be linked into a payday loan scam i used to receive phone calls everyday up until tuesday when i changed my number. they called me from a +34 784 468 17 number then called me from a 347 844 6817 which is the same number as the other just split up with a plus at the front... stated that i owed them money for a payday loan, which was totally bogus... i dont owe anyone anything.. so he started cussing at me, this guy, then told my mother in law that he was coming to find me to kill me... after i put it all together that line was a phising line to steal my information out of my phone....bank info. etc.. beware of everything you do bc, people can get your hard earned money by any means neccesary...

Thank you guys for all of the input.  I joined, my card was charged in about 2 seconds, called my card company to cancel, was charged the $2.97, nothing I could do about that!  Called Direct Commerce back and cancelled.  They wanted to know why I was cancelling, told them I had reviewed a lot of bad comments regarding them, and wanted no part of their program.  I guess the biggest headache, is that all of my other accounts using this card will have to be contacted now to changed.

Thanks folks for this online posting.
It really is an eye opener. Money is not easy to come and when it is very attractive there is some catch in it.
Couple of days back I received call for the same. So when I told them I lived in CANADA, they told me that it is meant for US citizen only.
Today I received call and when I reminded them of the same, the lady (Katheleen George) told that she
needs to check it out. Later she informed that it was valid for Canadian Citizen. She started asking me
for my CC and i was hesitant on giving it. I was asking her to give me the company details, but she
insisted on CC. Finally she told me her company was registered in Florida, California. She informed that
once I registered, she would transfer me to her Supervisor, who would provide me all the details. I was
still hesitant and asked her for the site, which was TheDirectCommerceAcademy. During the course of our talks, I realised that the caller was of Indian Origin with Indian accent and I asked her if she was calling from India, which she refused to divulge the information. I told her to call me next day, as I needed to do some research.

Thanks to everyone in this list who have shared their experience I know what I need to do tomorrow, when they call .

My heartfelt sympathies to all of you for undergoing this misery.
Take care.

I just got involved with the company also. It is a scam. I tried to call the toll free number to cancel the 2.97 fee and tell them I had changed my mind. The number is fake. I'm working with my credit card company to stop the transaction but I'm very concerned. Please don't fall for this scam I'm usually leery to this kind of thing but they used a local girl in there ad so I thought I would try it. So sorry I paid attention to the ad.

same here - I was charged 2.97 five times on my cc and now I have canceled my card and I'm having to dispute the 4 other charges... they seem to not see that they charged me 5 time in the same 1/2 hour!  I got sucked into this online first - whet to sign up and then decided that $140 was too much... 5 minutes later they called me from 407-434-0349 - and offered me the 'free' program that would cost $10 per month and a one time $2.97.  Got very frustrated - called back and got new info which then I googled and found this!!!!!   Thanks
Other numbers given to me: cust service # 877-304-1477 and the number on my transactions from my bank was DCA online 800-396-4039...
Direct Commerce Academy and Home Income Well Systems (Orlando, FL)  were the two company names given to me.
myinternettreasurechest.com and thedirectcommerceacademy.com were the two sites give to me as well... never made it there cause this site thankfully came up first.

I got the same thing when I called plus after 3 calls from Shad telling me I had to get a credit card to do this I told him no thanks not interested.  Still got charged on my acct plus the lady with heavy accent said I did not cancel before 30 days (no mention of 5 days on site I was on and clicked to buy the $21.97).  She tells me they will refund $30 but when I double checked next day the fellow on line  said no refund because of the 30 day deal.  I canceled my Debit Card so they cannot get any more monies from my account.
