"Jeff" called about a sport plane I have listed on barnstormers.com. I got suspicious about the 877 area  code and googled the number.

Jeff left me a message to see if my plane was still for sale.  No mention that he's a broker.

Had a message inquiring about a plane that I have for sale.  Didn't call back, but I did file a complaint at donotcall dot gov because I am on the national do not call list, the number is my cell, and I haven't done business with these a-holes in the past 18 months.  Please, if you are on the do not call list, report the people who are violating it, otherwise it will do no good.

Got a call from "Jeff" only this time it was about a small aircraft I have for sale, not a car. I was suspicious to see the Area Code and Prefix identical, so I Googled it and found this BB. Good thing.

Seems like the public are getting wise to their scam on automobiles and they've expanded into General Aviation-- a small community with low BS tolerance and long memories. Big mistake.

Got a message from Jeff, wanting to buy my aircraft.  It was listed on aircraftdealers.com  I did not return his message.

He sold my Cherokee in 4 days flat.  I have no complaints.

$395 is what he wants to place an ad on ebay.  I've looked at the ads - they suck!  MAYBE 4 pix, terrible description, ZERO follow-up to inquiries.

'Jeff' from the same 877 number just left a message on my cell asking about my plane on Barnstormers.  So I am also glad I Googled the number.

Ditto on the Barnstormer.com comment! Jeff seems to be a busy guy. However I think I will call him and see what he has to offer. If he can sell my $70K airplane then that is worth something to me. If it starts to smell or he wants money up front I'll just hang up.

Got a voice message from "Jeff". Asked if I still had an aircraft for sale. He made it sound like it was a personal call, but the fact if was an 877 number told me otherwise. I entered the number in Google search and here I am. Obviously AutoTrader. Why don't they just identify themselves as AutoTrader???? It just ticks me off when I find out it is a dealer looking for $$$ for a listing!

I have my Saturn Aura XE listed for sale at Auto Trader.  This caller sounds like a private party but it is actually a telemarketer who wants to sell my car for me.

Well,.....he got my Lexus sold for me.  Autotrader and cars.com couldn't do that.  Say what you will though...
