Now what?  Screw you.  Not everyone has caller ID.  Some people are alone at home, sick, elderly or both.  I don't give a s*** if the callers are trying to make an "honest" living.  The f*cking calls are annoying especially for sick and elderly.  You can't seem to get them to NEVER call back even after repeated attempts.  So if blowing a whistle into the mouth piece will get them the message, then I"m all for it.

4 calls 2 days no message left.  Nuisance.

this is the MS Society calling for donations. I have also received calls from 1-877-333-6679 and just today received one from 1-416-231-8978.
I answered the one today and there was a very nice lady on the phone. I told her that both my husband & I were not working and could not afford to donate. She said she wud put me on the DNCL immediately & wished us luck and sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, I agree they are extremely annoying but it is most likely some poor sole that is unable to get  a job outside of the home. It's better than that person robbing the innocent to get money.....at least they are trying.

Been receiving calls lately from 877-878-0954, sometimes several times per day. It shows name as "Anonymous" Today I decided to answer & as suspected no one was on the other end of the line. How annoying it is.....

Very annoying.  We  ignore the call and it goes to our answering machine, but no message is ever left.

Regular calls from this number.  If we don't answer, it just goes to message, then there is silence.

I have tried to get them off my back but they ignore my requests. I guess the best thing to do is ignore the calls if you can. That post that you are responding to is 2 years old.   It's likely that the poster has moved on with her life by now.

This phone number is under the multiple sclerosis society.  As far as I can remember charities do not fall under the do not call rules.   As for you idiots wanting to blow a whistle into the phone and screw up somebody's hearing, how old are you ????  12????   Why would you want to hurt an employee trying to make an honest living or worse yet hurt a volunteer?  Grow up people.  How hard is it to not answer a phone? Just ignore it.  But wait, if you do that you'll have nothing to complain about, right?

i hope they all get MS and it kills them.

They didn't leave a message.  Caller ID name showed as "Anonymous" which seems rather strange.

that's the answer i was looking for! i called the number and followed the prompts for removal from the call list.

this is the MS society and if you redial this number ...it will take you to a prompt to take your name off their list .

get call very often

I am getting calls from this number once and sometimes twice a day.  If it is the MS Society, then why does no one speak and explain what they want?

I get calls from this number daily and there is no talking, just silence for a minute and then they hang up.

I answer it today.  They have called about 10 times this week.  At first there was no one there and I had almost hung up when someone came on.  They are looking for volunteers to deliver flyers about MS.  They don't easily take no for an answer but I have been told my number will be added to their do not call list.
