I received a letter offering two free airline tickets from this company. The letter stated it was the last attempt to contact us but we had received no prior notices. I called and the woman who answered said we would be required to sit through a one hour presentation for Vacation Networks and pay $50 for taxes. This company had been profiled by ABC 15 News in Phoenix for shady business practices. Save yourself time & money - ignore the letter!

I received calls to my unlisted land line from this number: 801-823-2023 in Phoenix AZ on the following dates and times:
- 02-19-09 at 8:04 pm
- 02-17-09 at 8:30 pm
- 02-16-09 at 7:59 pm
I believe I answered the 02-16-09 call and just as others are noting, they wanted to talk to the voter over 18 in the house. I asked who was calling. She explained it was for a survey that they would keep info confidential. I told her I was uninterested and she then wanted to know who else in the house was over 18 and a voter I think. I told her I was uninterested and just hung up.
The following calls, I did as another person here did. I answered and immediately hung up when I saw this 801 area code.
Today I received a letter informing that I had "been selected to receive (2) Roundtrip Airfare." and also "Call within 48 hours and you will also receive a $100 gas rebate." Tums anyone? Sheeshh!
The letter was ended by saying "Please call today at 1-877-878-3956."
Note: Also see 8018232023 on this website.
I just tried calling the Attorny Generals office and the recording advised calling back later.

I recieved my letter 04/27/09 with a phone number of 1-866-831-6852. Hand written addressed envelope. (same 2 FREE airfare deal, and that I must reply by may 3rd) Though I did not know what it was before opening, the hand writing on the envolope made me wonder. After opening the letter the heading on the page read: STRATEGIC MARKETING SOLUTIONS. I soon realized it was a scam but was interested to see who answered the phone when I called. The phone was answered by a female. I asked her who hand adressed the envelope and how did they get my address. She replied that "There are a lot of people around the country who work for them addressing envelopes, and that my address was aquired from a variety of sources". She then went into the whole come to a office for a presentation deal. At that time I told her that her voice sounded sexy and I wanted to F her brains out. She then hung up on me. About a min later I recieved a call from a unlisted number, I didnt answer. I am sure this has to be illegal in some way, maybe law enforcement should get involved. I would like to meet the people who actually gave these people their personal information. By the way her voice was sexy and I did want to F her brains out.

I called this number 1-866-370-6429 and actually scheduled an appt. for Saturday. I live in New Jersey and rec'd "the letter" while on vacation. When I said I missed the respond by date, she said since I was on vacation she would still honor it!! Guess I won't be answering the phone Friday when they call to confirm. Wish I didn't give out my phone # now! It's hard to pass up $100 airline tix if they are real which apparently they are not! Will have to go back to earning miles the hard way through credit card points.

I recieved a letter from the sscam artist and i decided to play the game on the telephone. The asddress for their meeting is 3535 Grandview Parkway, Birmingham, Alabama 35243. I set a meeting using a fictious name and the meeting was set for April 22, 2009 at 5:30 PM. Please feel free to picket the scam or run them out.
Number is 866-370-8288
I love these letters 2009-04-21 06:10:01 Unknown
Sure maybe I'm a jack*** but I use the number for drunk/prank dialing. I call up using my best redneck impersonation asking about the free flight and where I can go with the tickets. Can I go home to Alabama and mention something about beastiality and how beastiality opened my eyes to have faith in the good lord? You believe in the good lord don't ya? This is where I usually get hung up on and it makes me sad. :(

AZ Girl 2009-04-12 05:30:42 Unknown
Recieved same letter on 4/10. Phone # this time was 1-866-460-0745. I wouldn't normally open junk mail, but mine was hand written, too. I haven't traveled lately, so I doubt it's Priceline...probably just got our names off some homeowner list or something...Desperate people looking for gullible optimists!

yep... got it today, April 11, 2009.
Letter is the same but number to call is 866-370-8288. All these numbers must get confusing for employees. Sounds legit to me if they are selling ocean front property in Arizona!

I got the letter today too--with the "handwritten" envelope and the address on the back of the envelope, Same thing, 1,200 value tickets, "Claire" had been trying to reach me, blah, blah, blah. First thing I did when I got home with the mail was to google Sanford & Jordan, and the first words to come up were "Rip-Off". Guess he/she/it has been very busy with a mass-mailing lately. Hopefully nobody gets really burned by this.

I also recieved a letter stating about 2 roundtrip airfair and a gas rebate. So, i called on the letter and the rep was very nice and she explained to me what needed to be do so my husband and I attended a 60 minutes presentation on travel at the end of that hour we got the things that were promised in the letter and everyone was very nice and understanding to our needs. I kindly reccommend if you get a letter from these people to take full advange of this because how else in this economy is there someone still looking out for someone else not many.

Check out the adress listed on the letter 4400 Columbia Rd, Suite 104 Martinez, GA ... I did a Google map search and it shows two things: first the address is a lovely RESIDENTIAL neighborhood and secondly, NO SUCH ADDRESS exists. What kind of LEGITIMATE business has a FAKE address?
AJ 2009-04-07 21:17:01 Unknown
I am in Houston, TX and I also received a letter. My letter says to call 1-866-385-9192, with an address in Martinez, GA. This letter is trash just like the people who sent it.

Interstingly enough, I received the offer for roundtrip airfare's (grammatically incorrect) and $100 gas rebate. However, the phone number on my letter, doesn't match any of the ones on this posting. Into the recycling bin it goes!

Wondering if there is a common thread to link all the letter recipients? I just got a Sansford & Jordan letter yesterday, became suspicious, & did some Googling. After seeing the comment above about mappping the address, it appears that 4400 Columbia Road in Martinez, GA is in a residential area. Also, on Google Maps, one of the "other businesses" associated with this address is "Americas First Mortgage". This brings me to my point (I know, finally...) My wife & I just bought a house last summer & now we get all sorts of crap mail offering to refinance our house, buy a homeowner's warranty, blah blah blah. It leads me to think our own mortgage company sold our name/address to all manner of martketers (reputable or otherwise). Has anyone else in reciept of one of these letters also bought a house fairly recently?
