I got the letter a few days ago, tried calling but they want you to leave a message, can't get to speak to a real live person.  Funny that my letter also said that I owed $29,857.  I really wish there is a way to report this.

my mother in law received a similar letter with the exact same amount  and has been getting calls from the 1-877-884-0344 number listed on the letter.  definitely something wrong here.  i can only imagine it being someone who is trying to get an unsuspecting person to make payment arrangements with them out of fear.

My daughter got the same letter, exact same amount.  The sounds of the letter before that made me think that I owed that amount of money and my combined credit cards are less than $4,000.  Then if you look (with a magnifying glass) at the "ant size" print at the bottom of the letter it tells you it is from Park Group Associates, Inc, they want to facilitate an agreemnts with your creditors to pay off this debt.  How dare they scare people like that.  My daughter was freaking out and didn't know what to do.  I told her I would take care if it.

I got the same letter but I got a different amount of $ 49, 857 are these people crazy? I don't owe this. Going to contact federal trade commission(ftc) and attorney general office and take MP advice, the BBB. Think if we all touch base they will most likely be fined and forced to close their scam operations.

got the same letter with the same amount owed. It's obviously a phishing letter looking for "real" addresses. I'm not going to directly call and or reply or they'll know my address and phone number are a "live" person. I'm going to call the state BBB and report them.

today is 6/20/11 and i got the same exact letter with the same amount. i called the # and it takes u to a voicemail.. wth!

just got the same letter in the mail today... I owe $29,857 just like everyone else...LOL  what a coincidence....They must think people are idiots...the letter came from Park Group Assoc. wonder what we all should do to stop this kind of crap.

I received a letter 6/18/11 with the exact amount of $29,857....certainly have no intention of responding as this is a joke

I received the same letter last week saying a outstanding balance of 29,857....Weird everyones says the same and i only have one card and its at 100.00 balance.  
Defiantly a scam.............shredded it.  I'm surely not going to worry about it at all

Wow, wonder why or how we all became special enough to become what appears to be a scam.  Im am not happy with this and will be contacting several people on Monday to handle. I have enough to worry about and don't need to be botheres with this foolishness.

I say BS on it being a mistake. No marketing company would send out a letter stating that you $29k, that isn't a marketing department job.  This is a scam.

I got the same letter today but I must be special because it says that I owe $39,587.

I am calling my state attorney general on Monday to report.

Called them as soon as I got home they apology for the letter he said that some marketing company made a mistake...

On June 15th 2011 I also received a letter in the amount of 29,857.00 that it says I owe.....Not true!
any idea on how to report this as a scam would be helpful!

I just recieved the same letter with the amount of $29,857. I do not own anyone that amount. This must be a scam. I have to see a lawer regarding other financial matters and I will be bringing this letter to his attention. Maybe he will know who I should alert.

My mother received a letter in the mail today containing that number. According to the letter, it's the number for a debt settlement agency known as "Park Group Associates Inc." and said she owed $29,000+ on a credit card debt. My mother doesn't have any credit card debt that would add up to that amount, so I am guessing it's a scam. Going to call the number as soon as she gets home.
