This is the third time in 3 days I have receiced a call from 877-893-1655. I have not answered it because I don't recognize the #. I only get the end of the message. Did not call them back. I understand it is a scam.

Pinnacle Associates. It was for a $35 anesthesia bill that was already paid. The bill was not past due, she was asking if I would like to pay over the phone, mail in payment, etc. She was very nice, didn't ask for SSN or any sensitive info. Maybe this company does billing for many companies or they make calls for other companies, but MY phone call was for a legitimate service and they had all my info (NEVER give out your info if they don't already have it!).

Received a call with an automated message asking for the last for of my social security number. Not willing to give that out to anyone that calls me. It said it was Portneuf Medical Center.

I CAN TELL IF I OWE ANYTHING BY THE BLUECROSS/BLUESHIELF BENEFIT SHEETS TELLING WHAT THEY DO OR DON'T PAY AND WHAT MEDICARE PAYS AND DON'T PAY.   DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THESE SCAMS.....IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OBAMA CARE I WILL BE CALLING THE HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATORS OFFICE HERE AND TELLING THEM ABOUT THE SCAM PHONE NUMBER AND I ALSO HAVE THE BILLING NUMBER HERE FOR THEM I WILL ALSO CALL AND ASK THEM IF THEY KNOW WHO HAS THE NUMBER THAT KEEPS CALLING EVERYONE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. ONE PERSON WAS TOLD IT WAS A PLUMBING SHOP CALLING THEM NOTHING ABOUT MEDICAL BILLS.   TAKE CARE AND WATCH OUT....AND DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE PERSON CALLING YOU (NUMBER CALLING YOU.)  AND BY NO MEANS GIVE OUT ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION OR NUMBERS TO THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE ALSO TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY....A POLICE OFFICER CAME AND TALKED TO A GROUP OF US TELLING ABOUT ALL THESE SCAMS OF WHICH OFTEN SOUNDS VERY REAL.....THEY HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION THEY NEED ABOUT YOU AT YOUR MEDICAL FACILITY THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO GIVE THAT OUT AGAIN....... TAKE CARE.    BECAREFUL.

ONCE IN AWHILE I ANSWER JUST TO TELL THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS IF REAL PARTY TALKING AND DISCUSS THE DO NOT CALL LIST TO THEM.  SO OFTEN ANYMORE THEY DON'T HAVE THE 800 NUMBERS ANYMORE THEY ARE GETTING AROUND IT THAT WAY TOO.  LOTS OF THAT SORT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE .     NOT RIGHT TO SAY THE LEAST....HOPE THIS HAS HELPED THOSE OF YOU OUT THERE ...

They called me telling me they were bronson hospital and trying to get my information like last 4 o my soc., my name, and my birthday. I told them i don't know who u are and defently not the hospital. I don't go to the hospital. I make dr.s apt. So i know it is a bog number. I reported it to the hospital! They are going to spread the word!

These people are not nice They continue to call and it it is an automated system and it puts you on hold for sometimes up to 45 minutes and they NEVER come on the the line and when you pay cell minutes that adds up. We never received a bill from these people. I finally called the number back today and the women was so hateful to me and when I raised my voice to her she said why are you yelling at me and she was the one being Nasty to me. I said Send me a bill and I will think about paying it. When I told her this is crazy that they call and put you on hold for 45 minutes she said they never do that which is a LIE. THEY SUCK we will never answer from 1877-893-1655 again

Just received a call from them and got a message telling me not to hang up as this call relates to a business matter.  Then I was placed on hold forever and eventually hung up.  Googled the number only to find your comments.  I recently had surgery and did receive a bill from Pinnacle Partners for Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants.  The bill is legit, however, I feel like some of you....why do they have to be so secretive about it. The same number is on the bill I received.  Strange.

Just received a call from this number, and an automated voice claimed to be from Mercy Health Partners (which *is* a valid medical practice facility here in town) but asking for a person I do not know.

I rec'd same number call and I DO NOT live in Iowa nor anywhere near it. They left no message. As a former manager for a collection agency I urge you to know your rights. If you ask who they are or if they are a collection agency They HAVE to tell you. Most collection agencies handle multiple accounts so will handle accounts from all over the US. They ARE NOT allowed to misrepresent themselves and state they are from the dr office or hospital when they are not. Most of these collectors don't even know the laws themselves and don't realize they set themselves up for fines and more if a complaint if filed for violating federal collection laws. educate yourselves. They cannot use bad language,  harrash you, intimate you, or tell you anything that they don't intend to do as in I will file a suit against you if you don't pay by x date. Most will work with you on payments.

I got a call from this number. It showed up as unknown and I didn't answer it. It was an automated message saying it was the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. I think it's a total scam! Especially after reading what I see on this. I don't know how this scam got my information, but it bothers me.

This number (877-893-1655) was given to me by a hospital in Michigan.  It is the number to Conifer (http://www.coniferhealth.com/) which looks like it dabbles in alot of things.  Once I was on the phone with them, they claimed to be the "business office" for the hospital, even after I told them I knew they were Conifer.  I was just trying to make sure they weren't a collection agency.

Guess what. I called the other number they gave me, 877-827-9565, got the SAME auto message. Even down to the "Please take this survey".

This number caled me but told me to call another number.  I called this number. Got a auto response . Said to hold for an operator, then asked me to take a survey, " Please Hold".  I hung up.  Who are these people?  If they were legit, wouldn't the caller ID identify them?  What do they have to hide?

I got a phone call from this number. I don't answer calls from numbers I do not know. They did not leave a voice mail. I suspect it is a collection agency.

Just because you find the number to be legit doesn't mean that the company calling from that number is legit!

No idea. Left no message.  I went to Mercy Hosp. for pain in my back.  was NOT involved with any anesteliogogist., (spelling?).  Actually got a check FROM the hospital, claiming they were over paid. Not sure what this is. If the caller ID on my phone says "caller unknown", and this is a legit number, don't you think they wouldn't be afraid to tell you who they are?

Ligit bill - just make sure the right person pays it.        
Calles come from Pinnacle Partners in Medicine, but payment goes to Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants. They are only open during the week and will file insurance for you if, if you have if you have it. If not, as already mentioned try to work with them and do call them back - some will really try to help or write entire balance as a hardship if qualify. Best wishes!

Got a letter from Texas presbyterian, for mameogram and bone density covered under preventative care contracts with fed. blues and medciare and I have Fed workers comp. No ins has been billed yet. The company represented themselves as the hospital. I knew better, I said didn't you get the forms i sgned and ins card copies that registration took. I also had stamped each form with a stamp i have that shows the ins cliam numbers for all three and My name and one of the cliam numbers is my social with an TA for medicare. I got hung up on 7 times when I started asking for the name of the company they worked for and they weren'te permitted to tell me. I see from this site they are collections and one said collection agency. I am aware that some emplyer grouphealth plans have been permitted to lower the rates of payment as primary payer to the medicare rate if the pateint is over 65, yet our premiums have not been lowered. when i regestered on 3/1/12 i signed the forms and added a statment that I'm not liable for bills when ins aren;t filed and appealed which is often needed if the primary doesn't pay first and/ or coding info is altered by govt contractors. Thanks for your site as its a blessing of info. I refused to ive them my personal info and ins info again until they told me what company they were. I called back to adm at hospital and a new perosn is on duty that did this; Under the new health care bill yuo will find medcial providers have to hire a maangement firm to be  managed' and the management is not to bill you ins even if they are a blues preferred provider? The comapny call center I reached was in California, and and I asked to talk to a manager there and they started transferring my calls from my cusotemr service person to another. Welcom to 2014 and your health care dollars at work; we feds are already under it and others gradually getting phased in to pay your premioums and no coverage espeially preventative care. Received a call from this number, caller i.d. indicated "Unknown."
Call was from "Pinnacle Anesthesia" billing office. Apparently some confusion between
our medical insurance company and this company. Very nice and no pressure, just calling
to inform me of discrepency.
