he called and I gave him my info!!!! I hope this wasn't a scam

So I am just reporting. We have no outstanding debts.
So why is he calling us?

Called me before trying to reach someone- I was polite and told them that I was not who they were looking for and to remove my number- they said fine... now they are back at it again. I again said I am not the individual you are looking for and they said we have this number I said sorry-not who your looking for please remove this number... they said how do we know your not lying I said how do you know I am not telling you the truth?  since we are at an impass I am ordering you to not all this number ever again.

They hung up on me.

Called 14:13 CST, 30 Nov 07. Left no message.

I tried to get who ever this is calling my work # to send me information in the mail she did not tell me who she was with just that she had a claim from a Capital One did not verify it was me or nothing and just that she had a claim in her office and I said you need to send me something in the mail and she said why would I do that you just told me what I needed to know and I said well you need to send me something in the mail and she said I don't have to I already have what I needed from you. She wanted to know if I had any questions and I said what does it matter you seem not to care what I want and she said I don't when you owe us $. I said don't call me at work and hung up. This is a car that just got repossed on a 0.00 balance past due Capital one said I was 3 months behind in August {NOT TRUE} and said they were repossing my car in the amount of 0.00 past due. I consulted an attorney but I did not have the $ to fight this he was going to charge me 250.00 an hour and he suggested to just let them to come get it. So I didn't make September payment and they came and picked the car up one night at midnight . I have paper work that states they are taking cure of my car on a 0.00 balance past due. So I assume Capital One now that they SOLD the car and it had a balance left has sent this to this company. The number comes up private twice this week I assume it was the NCO company who has been calling me since Monday because one time it showed a # then one time it showed private they just left me a message to call this number that referenced some #.

Called at 9:47 a.m. CST. Said to Call back to this number. Ref ID xxxxx. No mention of what the debt is or what there call is in reference to except to collect a debt.

A Larry from NCO Financial Systems Inc. Call me on my cell as Private Call did not answer so they in a min. called my work. Same private call did not answer and He left a message that it was URGENT that I call him at 877-895-5703 with some ref. number. Then I get another call on my cell phone again and he left a message then on my cell. For me and my husband that is was VERY nessary that we call him at this number and ext. with this ref. number he gave me. And that was it.

I picked up the phone to hear a message playing. I didn't get to say hello. Anyway, it stated that I needed to talk to someone about personal business. I had 3 options, 1 to wait and talk to someone, 2 to call them back, 3 take a message and they would call me back. I chose option 3 which gave me this number to call back and I would be able to talk to someone about my personal business that needed to be discussed with them.

Left a message to call back at ext. 633.  Said his name was Tony Honeycutt.  Didn't leave any other info.
