They did leave a message for me. Its an outsource group to help pay unpaid hospital bills.  I will probably answer the next time.

We get these calls to lower interest rates always stating this is your final call but regardless if we ignore, answer or press any option the calls continue. There must be a way to end this harassment.

The also have called me 22 times in the past 3 weeks. They call me daily and never leave a message. I called the number back today and its an automated answering stating that they are BRI and are a marketing company, and to press 1 if you want you number added to their "do not call" list. I pressed 1, but it went blank. I did not get any confirmation or anything that my number was added. Nothing.
So I hope it went through and it works.

9 times in 3 days!! C'mon! I never answer unidentified callers.  If it is a legitimate unlisted caller they should leave a message to let me know that. Then I can call them back.  I wonder how to block them?  I'm on the "Do Not Call List", but apparently that isn't working.  I guess I can't file a complaint if I don't know who they are - or can I??

It's those[removed] at TD Canada trust, and I had it, I already passed all the caller ID log with photo to my lawyer.  

Meanwhile, I'm transferring my insurance, cancelling my credit card and saving acct. to elsewhere, so I can change my phone no. as soon as I switch over

I get calls from this number almost every day at the most inoportune times and they are calling on my cell number.  When I answer it no one is there.  Very wierd and very annoying.

Can't stand calls like this where you answer and it takes 3-4 seconds for their auto-dialer to finally connect you with a live human being. In that time, I've already given up and hung up. Either there needs to be a human there immediately or nothing at all.

i never answered my phone to this number, and after 3 months of daily calling, they finally got the message.

This is really annoying. I never pick up. I JUST called back.. and I can't even talk to someone to tell them to stop calling me.

I've been receiving this call since the beginning of October. I always ignore 1800 numbers because I'm afraid of scams. I finally decided to google this number, and after talking to TD, I realised what this probably is - I applied for a credit increase on my Visa card over a month ago. However, my wallet was stolen once years ago, so as a safety measure, in order for me to get the increase on my Visa, I have to verify with the credit bureau that I actually did apply for it.

I'll definitely answer this call the next time it comes in and update everyone on what happened.

If you're the same situation, you also may want to answer the call in the future. It could be legit.

Why complain?
When you call the number, an automated message states that the company is called B.R.I. and that they provide "marketing services" to other companies... aka TELEMARKETING = Illegal if you are registered on the national do not call list.

I didn't "opt out" by pressing 1, as this could be a way for them to record which numbers are real numbers used by real people (otherwise why wouldn't they try to sell you something when you answer??? ), which in turn could be forwarded to other telemarketing lists. Maybe I'm paranoid, but it just feels like a scam all the way so I'd rather ignore them than do anything they suggest.

This number has been calling every day around 2pm for the past couple of weeks. No ione speaks when I answer, no message is ever left.  When I called them back, the automated message stated I was calling B.R.I., a marketing company that provides services to various banking, telecommunications and other companies. They do offer the option of being taken off their list but I already was listed on the Canadian "Do not call list".

This retarded telemarketing company has been calling to my cell phone once everyday since the end of September.soooooooo f****n annoying

I just got a call from this number too.  Ignored it for weeks, and then decided to answer.  She said she was calling on behalf of TD Bank Visa and offering me a Smart Credit Report.  She wanted me to consent to her bringing up my Credit Bureau report to see if there was any identity theft.  It sounded suspicious so I put the run to her.

This number is so annoying...call me several times a day for I think weeks...I answered it but they just hang up. What's wrong with this number?!

the caller is insane... i got at least 6 calls a day. The first time they call I answer it but he/she hang the phone... when I return the call, a girl's voice will just say hello & hang the phone...

It is a fake calling, td has no this phone no.

These a***s called at 3pm and I told them I'm at work. They said they understand and they don't want to bother me and they would call back later. I said I am not interested in their insurance.

That was yesterday. Just now, I got another call. It's 9am.

bought a Panasonic phone with call block option (free, comes with phone). This is the only thing that has worked with telemarketers, etc....  The phone rings once then disconnects them.  So easy to
add telephone numbers that you want to block.  What a dream !!!!!

It's on behalf of TD Visa. I ignored it for the past four days, finally answered and told them to remove me from all TD Visa lists.

A woman asked for to speak to my husband. I said I would take a message. She said she would call back another time. I said no, my husband is not easily aviallable. She said, how about on Saturday? My reply was, he has asked for me to take messages. She then got huffy and said, he could call them back because they are not allowed to leave messages. I replyed that if she did not want to leave a message , don't ever call here again.  She said, fine I will put that in his file.  File???? Do they Keep files on people????

Call on my celphone from this number. Very annoying, something must be done to stop these buggers!

Tried twice to call back & have my number removed, once from my actual phone & once from my work phone. Both times after pressing 1 to be removed, I just got dead air & was disconnected. After that, the calls ESCALATED; they've been calling me every day for nearly 2 weeks, & yesterday called me TWICE. Today I picked up & said "Please stop calling this number!" It's VBI on behalf of TD, trying to sell credit card fraud insurance. This is twice that TD has pissed me off with 3rd party companies calling me on their behalf. Not impressed.

this number has been calling me every day since mid July... I've pressed 1, but nothing happens after that.. they called twice today... this is my work cell phone. I hate telemarketers. I'll pick up next time and get put on their do not call list...if they are so inclined.
