Recvd message from a Christna Hall claiming to be a  Process Server for the local Court. Told me to be at my place of employment or resident between the hours of 10:00-12:00 and to have 2 forms of ID ready for the Courts. Told me if I had any questions to contact the # that is filing the charges 877-908-4070. It's been a couple of of days. Oh by the way.. I call the local courts....Never heard of her and no paper work!. These people need to find a honest way to make a living. They are evil for sure!   They also sent my employer a info sheet requesting my personal info......Address, phome # etc......

Got yet ANOTHER phone call, which a message was left on my phone, and they called my daughter today too leaving the same message..stating I had fraud charges pending and by law they were to give me 72 hours notice before filing with the county..oh..did I mention the "LAW FIRM" is Davis, Oliver & Clarke? A "Kelly Rhodes" I believe she said her name was? Left a case number to reference and extention (611) and this time I called them back...I knew who and what they are and up to and wanted to let them know that what they are doing is illegal and my Attorney General will be contacted about this matter...Ms. "Kelly" wasn't available but her SUPERVISOR "Todd Williams" was and by the end of the conversation it was understood that I wasn't paying anything and stop calling...he told me there would be no further phone calls and they'd send the paper work to the court so I could take it up with the judge...WHATEVER!!!  Do***e Bags..the best part..the phone they called my daughter from..she tracked that number..a Verizon cell that had been disconnected!!

got a call from these guys 2 weeks ago i asked for proof of the  the money i owned or what not  i never got anything in the mail  then today they called me said i had tell noon today to pay  them said i owed 2,000 but would take 500  and be done i said i wasit going to pay anything tell i had proof that i owed money or that this was a real company  the man todd then got mean saying i was going to prison for frud and can hear i got a kid in the background and that with froud on my record i wouldit find work and would lose my kid  and that i needed to pay today when i said no he said i would go to jail today and wished me luck and hung up

Same thing happened here. They were looking for my mother saying that had papers to serve on her. I'm a lawyer and I know that process servers DO NOT call you in advance. These are not real process servers this is just a scam to scare the person into calling them back and then they try to shake that person down for money. To everyone going through this...IT IS ILLEGAL. These debt collectors cannot collect debts this way. If you find yourself in this situation just hang up. If they want you to pay ask for something in writing. Ask them to investigate the alleged debt for fraud before they collect. Do not give in to their threats. If they do try to sue them. Be sure to let the court know about the harrassing phone calls. The fact that they pretend to be law enforcement and that they threaten criminal charges. All of this is illegal and they can be fined and taken out of business. Also in states such as Texas they must be bonded in the state to collect debt. Good Luck.

Got a call from "Kelly Rose" at extension 611 asking for someone with our same last name, different first name, on some sort of "Fraud Case" out of Arizona.  She gave a court docket number and advised that they would be entering a "guilty plea" for this person if they did not respond.  Hubby called them back and told them to get lost and that they had a wrong phone number.  Definitely some sort of scam.

Payday loan collectors, typical Buffalo, NY style of threats, with no paperwork. No license or bond found anywhere we checked.

Stay far away from this liar and apparent extortionist, he likely won't last long. Again, they are NOT a law firm. His name & website appear to have been designed to deliberately give a false impression, when he is nothing more than just another debt collection con artist.

They Called at work! Said they had a a legal right to call workplace trying to collect a debt. They had the correct payday loan company. I took out in 2008 and made payments to the local payday loan office in the area. I lost my job and and told them and had it in writing to the company, The Company then CHARGED OFF the Acct. Now 4 years later I get this call. I do nothing over the phone. I also ask for something with their letterhead and address b4 I even dicussed anything. I may have not been able to pay this off because of hardship.....But I do Have rights

they called my wife today and said that i owe allied cash advance 1100 but they will take 500or so and then i asked for contact information for the actual people sueing me. this guy said to "google it". sounds like a scam to me!

if this is fraud let me know I will be suing..it was same guy n woman for me

"Mr. McBeth" called my 82 year old mother and left the numer (877)908-4070 for my husband to call.  I'm sure it's some sort of scam because we are debt free.  Any legitimate person who needed to reach us would not have to call my elderly mother.

I received a call yesterday from a placed called DOC.  They were wanting to verify my address because they said they made several trips to my house and I was never there.  They want to serve me with papers.  I asked for what?  The woman then transferred me to a man named Todd Williams who, then said that he is an Investigator for Mendo Lake Credit Union in Lakeport CA.  This was in regards to a Pay Day Loan from a couple of years ago.  He wanted me to pay him money over the phone then.  I said I didn't have any so, he was giving me until today to call him back and give him some money on a prepaid debit card.  If I don't I will face criminal charges.  I'll admit, I was shaken up by this phone call.  I thought about it all night long.  I got up this morning and made some calls.  I contacted Mendo Lake Credit Union, never heard of him.  So, I called the number given to me.  A woman answered the phone and said "This is Melanie."  I asked what company I had called, she hung up.  Immediately after that, my phone rang (unknown caller).  It was the same woman and all she told my husband was it was "Law Offices".  Nothing more was said.  The phone just rang again, my husband spoke to Todd Williams.  He wants me to call him so he can help me out.  Right now, I'm getting ready to contact the State Attorneys Office.

No name is given to say who the person is or what company he is calling from. He does say to contact 877-908-4070 and gives me a case number. They say that we can handle it out of court and then he says good luck. He did call from a unknown number. Crazy ppl that just want money.
