They keep calling and leaving messages stating my name and phone number was given on a legal document for a person I have never heard of. A man and woman have called using verbage like "plantiff, process summons division, court summons, public record, case file and even giving a case#. I called like at midnight just to see if there would be a message stating the company. "National" was all on the message. Also the phone number of 607-595-0635 has been left.

I figure it is scammers attempting to get people to call back and obtain personal info using the scam of verifying that you are not who they are looking for.

Considering changing my phone number.

Said something about Check fraud, breech of contract and litigation but would not tell me who it was for or for how much.  Have no idea who these people are.
