This company has been calling me stating I owe money from an old pay day loan.  I have never heard of the company they claim I owe and the dates and amounts keep changing. They claim the are going to have someone serve me papers.  The message yesterday was the I was legally notified over the phone that I had been service What!? I have requested documentation for my debt but they never seem to provide it. I am going to file a complaint and hopefully someone does something about this company. This is crazy!!

This company call me from 877-919-4926 and 901-416-8060 an claimed that I owed them from 2 debt collectors. They gace me no address and continues to call me with SERVING ME PAPERS TO MY PO BOX OR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. Then call you back to back all day leaving the harrassing messages and them some man name JOSUIHA. They need to be reported . I am going to end up filing a chapter 13 if they try to garnish my check. I have no idea who they are.

My mother received a message too from this number concerning my sister

They just called my job trying to say they were going to send the sheriff deputy.  They have called three times.  I am putting a complaint in with the FCC and the Consumer Protection Agency.

I just got a message from a fellow co-worker saying that Global Mediation had called and had made very threatening caal saying that that they needed to deliver documents in reference to charges. My place of employment has already been notofied to not give out any information to them because they had tried this before. The previous time, they used a different name. I called the Sheriff's office and informed them of the call and was told that I should not give them any information what so ever and not to speak to them. I also called the court and was also told the same information, I was told that i could not be arrested for unpaid debt. They had me call Consumer protection to file a complaint at 404-651-8600 and the Federal trade Comission as well at 877-382-4357. They also had me put a identity fraud flag on my social security number. It is illegal for them to call your place of emplyment. They will do anything to try to scare you just for money.

Also the secondary numbers that they initially call you from which they "claim" is their "locator dept" are really the same people. They use random number generators that will display a number with your local area code on your caller ID in hopes that you will pick up. If you call that "local" number back you get a vm greeting saying "this investigations dept phone does not accept messages." This is just another scare tactic employed by these scammers. If you were really going to be served with papers or be arrested on criminal charges, you would not receive a call ahead of time to verify your home and employment addresses, think about it, that would kill the element of surprise which is crucial when it comes to arrests and being served.

Google Global Mediation Firm and you will see that they have been doing this scam for quite awhile now. DO NOT give them any info and ignore any threats they throw your way. You cannot have criminal charges filed against you for an unpaid debt. That is purely a civil matter. They will attempt to convince you that charges are being filed unless you pay them now...I'm no attorney, but I'm going to go out on a limb and call it extortion, which is a criminal offense. If they keep calling and harassing you, give them a dose of their own medicine and they will stop. Hope this helps folks.

They called me several times and family members and hr dept at work. Once i told them they were in violation of arkansas law and i need thier name number and address to report to the fcc they hung up quick.

They called my number and stated that he had to explain what my charges was for before he came and picked me up.  Global a Mediaton Firm.  Claim it's from different companies that set out for dept collections.

Recieve call today stating a file number and must pay immediately

They keep calling my place of employment and harrasing the Human Resource Department and my supervisor! I called and had to leave a msg. to not call my place of work. I believe this is illegal. Once told verbally or in writing to not call your work, they should not call back.

We also do not know this number or NEW COLLECTION Company. (LOCAL - CELL # they also called our office from 253-218-4437)  It seems that they have NO respect for the Law !!  We received 5 calls at our WA. Sate office. they left many messages on many company extensions including our HR Dept. voice mail. It said the same as the last persons complaint. We have a claim for ....... and Charges against Her. At this point You have one opportunity to contact the Firm, To discuss the matter immediately.  

A couple of points: 1.- we have No idea who the person is that they left ALL this personal info about.  2.- This type of messages are in violation of many laws, Just forward these types of messages to the FCC. 3- If you receive any calls of this type, please post a message that way everyone know what numbers and companies are working outside the law, and that companies that are legitimate.

I don't know who this number is, but they left me a message stating that I had a default on the claim payment I arranged this morning, and that the charges and claim against me needed to be refiled within the next few hours and I needed to call them back. I think it may be a scam because I didn't have any arrangements, nor do I have any charges or claims files against me.

I also want to find out who this number belongs to.
