I called David's Bridal customer service and asked to be removed from their call list. They told me to change my phone number on my online account. We will see if that solves it!

I have received calls all through out the night from this number. I have tried blocking the number, but they still keep calling, six times a day even. Finally I answered and a woman was extremely snotty with me. I asked to be taken off their calling list and she swore at me before hanging up. I am extremely shocked and upset. I am cancelling my appointment with them that I had set up to look at a bridal gown and I will be looking somewhere else. They just lost out on lots of money too because I was going to bring my whole bridal party there. I can't believe a company like that would call and harass their customers and yell profanity at them. Unbelievable. I just posted it on Facebook so everybody would know know to not shop there. Next time they call I will be recording the call and uploading it so everyone else can hear am I spoken to.

Number won't stop calling. They call anywhere from 4-6 times a day, twice are after 9pm when I am already in bed sleeping. I am calling to cancel my dress order and the bridesmaid dress appointment after telling them three times that if they continue to call and harass me, I will not spend any money with them. Everyone will be asking me why I changed my dress. I will have to explain why and that I refuse to give money to a company that harasses me. Thanks for ruining my wedding, David's Bridal. I will be telling everyone I know about your illegal telemarketing practices.

I signed up for the contest about two months ago. I currently have an appointment set up with them in two weeks. If they continue to call me, I will not hesitate to cancel my appointment. They must not care too much about customer service if they are willing to lose my business, not to mention all the bridesmaids that would be purchasing dresses from them as well. As it is, I am not sure after reading all of these complaints if I even want to show up for my appointment now. No other bridal company in my area harasses customers, let alone POTENTIAL customers. Good job David's Bridal. You just lost out on my business, and I will be telling everyone I know how you continue to call me late at night. Your telemarketing practices are those of a bad collection agency. Seriously, get some class.

The number has been calling but no voicemail

This is simply out of control. I feel harassed!  I have emailed them and called them and have requested to be left alone. It's amazing that they already got my money and they still won't leave me alone...what more do they want?

After telling the telemarketer, we were in the middle of a hurricane, and to stop calling, they started calling me   . I wouldn't buy dress from such a high pressure sales tactic bunch.

It is one of the David's Bridal numbers - they call at least twice daily. Their other number is 800-520-4808. Unbelievable.

I never signed up for the David's Bridal web site, or any contest. I went to the store, tried on dresses and purchased one. Ever since, I have been getting calls from this number every so often with no voicemails. They even gave my number to a mens clothing store (I know that because they told me that's where they got it) who called me 3 or 4 times. If I had known they were going to use my information in such a way, I would have given my business to someone else.

I bought my wedding dress from davids bridal but never signed up for any contests. I am still getting calls from this number. I am getting married in 10 days and have more important things to worry about!! UGH. They also gave my number out to other stores and 3rd party vendors. IF you can help it, dont buy from davids bridal...

I just received a call from this number...I already have a dress. Its being altered and Im getting married in 3 weeks...i never signed up for any promotions and i just got mens warehouse to stop calling...ugh.

This bridal store is out of control! I registered for the contest too a few weeks ago but after receiving multiple phone calls daily, I called to be removed from the "call list."  I didn't do this once, not twice, not even three times... I have called six total times requesting to be removed and each time I'm told my information is gone from the system and I won't be bothered anymore... interesting, for a number that has been "removed," they continue to call me several times daily ever since!! Sometimes it's the corporate office, other times it's another number the when you call it back gets you to their store locations.  The people you speak with are useless - when I asked to speak to a manager, conveniently nobody was available - I bet if I wanted to schedule a gown shopping session, suddenly managers would be available for my call right and left.  Even after registering on the national do not call list, they continue to call me.  They are obnoxious, relentless and I hope this business practice puts them out of business eventually! I know I won't be buying my gown or anything else from them.  I'm going to complain to the FCC and and FTC as well.  They are outta control - shame on you David's Bridal!

Signed up for the contest, but have since stopped wanting a traditional dress. No VM left, and I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Pretty sure I did not request phone calls too. second call in two days.

I've been getting calls from this number and another number associated with David's Bridal every day for the past couple of weeks, sometimes after 10pm!  I don't answer and any recording doesn't identify the company. I already have an appointment set, so the fact that they keep calling is getting more than a bit annoying. I dont mind if I order from them and they call specifically about my dress or alterations, but that's it, and definitely NOT at the late hours they've been calling!

I just contacted the Attorney General's office. I'm having the same issue. I signed up for their contest and chose NO, I do not want a rep to contact me. They've been calling me ever since. The Attorney General's office suggests that we file formal complaints on their website under Complaints / Consumer Complaints. I hope everyone going through this same thing right now, will file a complaint. I am filing one right now.

seriously, the same thing as everyone else. Why a 800#? I don't answer them in the first place, if they would leave a message maybe then I would call and set an appointment, I am at the point of getting annoyed. They call 2 if not 3 times a day now and I already made an appointment with them! Frustrating.

I just posted a complaint about David's Bridal a second ago because they call from 800-520-4808 and never leaves a message. I just checked this 877-923-2743 and again from David's Bridal. I've not signed up for any promotions or anything. I just went online to ask for an appointment which I have already gone to on Saturday. So weird they have sold my number to some unknown callers!!

I do not want them to call me everyday.  I am sick of this.

Thanks for the info! I just filed a complaint with the FTC and will do the FCC next. Ridiculous that it's now 2012, and I see this post was from 2010! How can they still be doing this? I'm so glad I *didn't* buy my dress there now!

I've been married for 22 years & have no intention to need the services of David's Bridal.  And even if I wasn't married right now, I still wouldn't need David's Bridal.  STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!

While browsing the David's Bridal website for fun (I'm not even engaged..yet.) Just last week, I thought it would be nice to use their "Favorites" function to save dresses that caught my eye.  You have to sign-up to use this function and give out personal information, including your telephone number.  I made sure to check the box that said I did NOT want to be contacted by a bridal consultant for an appointment because I seriously do not need one.  Whatever.  David's Bridal has been calling me every day for the last week, 3 times a day from 2 different 800/877 numbers, as well as a number that comes up as "Restricted" on my phone.  This evening when they called (twice within an hour), I finally yelled at them using quite foul language...I have never yelled at a sales person like this in my life...Can't believe what this company is doing.  I had always thought that when I got married someday, I would get my dress at David's Bridal, but I am so pissed right now, I just don't know.  This company should absolutely be ashamed of themselves!!!

I kept getting calls from this number as well.  I finally answered and told the gal that I already made an appointment and she said she would update the system.  Haven't had another call since.
