From the above posts, we now know that Creton Mills/J&J Processing at 1-877-935-0540 is a PHISHING SCAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO GET PEOPLES' PERSONAL INFORMATION USING FALSE PRETENSES!!! **They** are the ones who are making these bogus scenarios and putting them on people, such as you having a returned item from your bank, or that you are the "contact person" for someone who is writing bad checks, or that you need to pay a court debt in order to avoid being served on your job. Of course, when you call the above number to say that these things are not true and to get your name cleared, it is *then* that they get all your personal information and gladly "clear your name"! But that's exactly what they were trying to get! AGAIN, THIS IS A PFISHING SCAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO GET YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION USING FALSE PRETENSES!!

Yes, Diana, Creton Mills/J&J Processing at 1-877-935-0540 were happy to "remove your name" and for you to not receive any more calls, but **they** were the very ones who put the falsehood on you about being the "contact person" in order to get all of your personal info!!!  THE ABOVE NUMBER IS A PFISHING SCAM DESIGNED TO GET PEOPLES' PERSONAL INFORMATION USING FALSE PRETENSES!!!

These scammers called me again a week later, even though I called my phone company (Verizon) and blocked this number! I got more of the recorded message this time: "You have a returned item from your bank! This is not a solicitation. You are expected to make a call! [Your case number is] 296556. You would be well advised to call this number!" Guess what--I do not have any returned item from my bank. And note how the scammers don't refer to persons by their name--they just use the pronoun "you"! If this was a real call, and if this agency knew enough about you to know that you have a returned item, they would certainly know your name! "Hello, is this Mr. John Smith? This is [actual name of your bank], and you have a returned item." And when you start questioning this company about who *they* are, and where they are  located, they get very huffy and say they don't have time for these questions and then they hang up! I guess they didn't need to collect that bill so badly after all, and they just move on to the next victim!

A caller left a message on my work voicemail, saying they work for the county courts and they had a pending case, and that I should call this number reference a case number and make arrangements to pay the debt owed to prevent a court case and being served at on my job.

Said I was listed as a "contact person" fo ra man who was writing bad checks.
I have no idea who that person was.
I was told they would remove my name and not reveive any more calls.

"You have a returned item from your bank! This is not a solicitation! You would be well advised to call this number!"  This was the **recorded** message that I received. If it was true, why did I not receive a message from a live person **at my bank**?  Be sure to tell these charlatans that they are scammers and that they should be ashamed to be working at a scamhouse!!

This number called my work place and said i have a check that didnt go through. Called back the number and had no answer. I know nothing about any of this.

Told me I had a check that didn't go threw and I needed to take care of this immediately. I don't know what they're talking about.
