My girlfriend got a call from this number asking for me... Said it was ADT Security Services... Asked her if I was there with her or if I was on a job... She said that I wasnt available and left her name and number with a ref# as well.  I called it back and it was Premier Credit..  I do not know how they called my girlfriend but that is sneeky and unethical to faulsely represent a sercurity company too.

I have been receiving calls from various numbers recently, this one just a few minutes ago.  I do NOT have any student loans pending/overdue/default.  However, I do have old credit card debt from 10 years ago that was written off...guessing they're trying to collect debt the credit card company wrote off.
No caller ever leaves a message.

I don't have a student loan, and I got a call about 3 cases pending against me.  They even called a friend of mine to try and track me down. Years ago, I had some payday loans but they were paid.  I have an attorney and he is looking into it.  two years ago some scammers tried this and my attorney shot them down.

No you are correct. Unfortunately I don't make a lot of money to pay for my daughters college education, and because of the constant threats of not being able to cough up 350 dollars a month( this is the payment they were so happy to give me and will not accept a penny less) she refuses to take out a student loan. She doesn't want to live her life in debt. Yeah she might make more money if she went to college, but just to spend the next 20 years buried in student loans. Makes absolutely no sense.

You are not being sensitive.  Student loans and their "forgiveness opportunities' were the biggest scam ever put forth on most of us seeking higher education.   I was told numerous times if I would teach in certain areas and certain subject matters that my student loans would be written off.  Never happened.  There was always some B.S. excuse for not following though on the a fore mentioned promised programs.

So like millions of others, I got buried in student loan debt. Teaching demands very expensive and endless higher education to get and hold a position, but does not pay according to education demands.

When I was badly injured and could no longer work in the education field, or any other for that matter, I got buried under the student loan debt and lost most everything I ever worked for.

The harassment I was subjected to, even as a documented disabled person, was horrific.  I could tell you horror stories.
And that is after my student loans are forgiven due to disability.  The dirty b*****ds still call me and my family members and harrass us.

Never. ever. take out a student loan. Find a different way.

Library fines have been turned over for "collection". it is legit. I guess they also handle other types of county and state fees that are unpaid. They attempt to collect the debt.

These people keep calling me and its been going on for 4-6 months.  Even called the place where I get my work.  Then just today they called my father whom I live with.  Getting sick and tired of it.  Calling our place of work should be off limits to them.  They should think about the fact that they are hindering themselves if people would loose their jobs over this.

In response to the comment about federal employees, I must say that is a sweeping and unfair generalization.  I went to law school and finished in the top 30% of my class. While many of my classmates went to work for large law firms and earned six-figure starting salaries, I joined the Air Force and worked my tail off for years earning half as much before sustaining a career-ending injury.  Despite the crippling student loan debt with which I am saddled, I am glad to have served.   Sure, there are incompetent, unmotivated employees working for the government, but in my experience, such federal employees are the exception, not the rule (including civilian workers).  And there will always be below-average employees no matter who the employer is.  Just remember, every member of the U.S. military is a federal employee who often sacrifices far more than most employees in the private sector and for less pay.

Hi- These dirty b#st#rds are blowing up my relay phone....calling at 6:30 am in the morning and 10:30 at night 4 and 5 times a day.  I noticed that everyone here seems to say they are a debt collection agency for student loans.  I don't have student loans or outstanding bills to be collected.  I am disabled though and rely on my phone for all communication, as it is set up with txt and special computer technology.  The harassment is unbelievable!  I would appreciate any thoughts anyone has to get them to stop. Thanks

Do you work for these scammers? This is a lie.  If you go to this website, the bottom says it is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.  If you click on the icon it looks like the BBB website.  If you go to the BBB website on your own and put t he name in, it immediately says it is NOT accredited!

This has to be  scam! They have called my work the past 2 days asking me to verify information about myself that is incorrect!  You would have to be an idiot to correct them and give your real info.  I have dealt with Dept. of Ed before and they always had my correct info.  My government loans were taken over by a different agency almost a year ago anyway.  I have been paying loans for several years now and have never had an issue or missed payment.  I called the Dept of Ed to inform them and they brushed me off.

If you want them to stop calling, just say, "my employer doesn't allow personal calls on this line, you are endangering my job. Do you understand?"
Keep asking "Do you understand?" Until they say yes.
Politely say thanks and hang up.
you'll never hear from them again.

They constantly call me but I never pick up on a call that I don't recognize the number.  Especially true for out of state area codes.
I do have StudentLoan problems but they are in process of being resolved.  Evidently the StudentLoan folks won't call off their dogs until there is another financial crash and restructuring of banking.

The bill collectors are really toxic.  Don't believe people who call you out of the blue and say they represent SallieMae or the Dept of Education!  They are either bill collectors or scammers.  The scammers are really poison, as are all for-profit bill collectors.  They continually demand my social security number (they already have it), and now they want my bank account numbers!  Dang!

I wish I had never taken StudentLoans.  It turned out the "education" wasn't worth a nickel and the loans have become a life-dominating burden.    But, maybe I am too sensitive.

Received a call for this number asking me if they could speak with some man. I said no, I do not know them. She then continued to harass me about knowing some other  woman. I said no. I believe they are now collecting this info from Facebook profiles, as the name she was asking for was a FB name, not her actual name.

Not all government workers ar "loafers" as you call them.  The majority are dedicated hard working AMERICANS.  I have 3 degrees totaling 8 years of higher education and make $25.00 an hour as a federal worker.   My father, who was a union worker, had no education other than highschool.  He worked hard and in 1970 he made $28.00 an hour.  That's $3.00 an hour more than I make 43 years later.  I am sick and tired of idiots who know nothing about working for the government sitting in judgement about how hard we work and how "over-paid" we are. Stick to flipping burgers moron.
