rude people keep calling for a credit card debt faor a company I have never used and for a card that is not on my credit report????  WTF.   These people are rude and anoying and will not stop calling me.

Automated message asking for someone with a name close to mine, but not mine. Retards won't answer if I try to call back.

This number called me very similar to everyone else. For a girl who has had several companies trying to collect on her. HOwever, my cell is not her number. I have politely been asking these companies to desist. They have the wrong girl. The calls have been slowing. I don't get upset. I don't have time or want  more stress. When I anser I have them take me off the list. Simple.

i answered it was a male automated voice and says please hold for a customer service representavie, so i hung up

If this is the Academy Collection Service, Inc. as stated above by Joe Doaks. I recognize both the numbers he mentioned. I think we should all start harassing them. Found # & address online.

Constantly calling my home phone asking for a Ryan Kimball. Never heard of him and have told them so  dozens of times with them promising to take my number off their list. It's been a couple years now and still getting the calls from other numbers also asking for the same person. Usually they hang up on me but a lady today said her name was Amillia.

Continuously calls every other day.  The caller, a variety of females states they are from Academy Collection services.  They are trying to reach someone at this number that hasn't lived at this address for 10+ yrs.  The phone message, always starts out with something similar to -   "This message is for (Name), if you are not (Name), please hang up.  If you continue to stay on the phone, you acknowledge that you are (Name).

I tried to call them several times to get them to stop calling.  Does anyone know a way to stop these calls?

My 10 yr old daughter was getting these calls to her cell phone I finally called them and told them I was calling the police because she is a minor and they are adults that continue to call her after she told them she is not who they are asking for. I told them I would report that an adult was harrassing my juvenile daughter and won't stop. Let's see if it stops. They said they would erase it from the computer.

They call daily for someone who no longer has our issued phone number through comcast. Getting annoyed!

They call about 3 or 4 times a day asking for a girl named Susan something, when I asked them how did they get this number so that thgey can stop calling, she said it populated under the last number that was given, I asked how is this possible when I just got a new number less than a week ago and I am new to the area, they responded by saying that they have a system that generates even if you change your number with the last known address. I said isn't that fraud? they said no. but they stopped calling becuase I convinced them that they were asking for someone that I don't even know. So for now They have not called.

I  GOT SEVEN MESSAGES FROM THEM JUST GOT MY CELL THEY ARE TICKING ME OFF

Received call from 877-943-2785 on 8-27-08,message said wait for next available agent, then went silent and ended, Don't have any big debt and not overly late with payments.

I was getting these calls for weeks claiming my wife owed money to SEAR card. My wife did have a Sears card years ago and rememeberd paying it off.  The agent told me the amout owed was over five hundered dollars, but they could help me out by reducing it to $350. They said they could take care of it with my debit card. Thats when it realy smelt like a scam. I told them I wanted proper documentation before settling, and they said the reduction offer was only available for 24 hour. Then it reaked like as scam.   The topper was when the agent became erritated that I would rather pay the full value when I was comfortable with the proof then save $150. The only info I gave them was my new mailing address (public information already) so they could send me proof for the claim. Then they gave up and hung up and have not heard from them since. (no proof has arrived by mail either)

This is a collection agency. They have been calling me for 2 Months.  I am not the person they are looking for and have told them this several times.  They call my cell phone every day.  I finally contacted the Federal Trade Commision becase they are in violation of the fair debt collectios practiced act. The people who work at this debt collector are rude and incompetant.

Annoying people call a million times a day

This number calls me about three times a day... everyday. They say that I owe money to a company that I have never used before. It's infuriating.

rcv'd a call @ 5:46pm on july 8th. a msg was left. i had a feeling that the person was made up. at this point i have a list of names actually associated with this fairly new telephone number and Maria Nigrin is not one of them. too many calls from this number and they msgs says "by continuing to listing to this message you agree that you are [computer voicing name]" which is in a VOICEMAIL HELLO! anyway, called them back and told them that there is no such person. i haven't received a call yet & and am glad.

I receive this call several times a month for over a year now. There are different people that call always asking for Veronica Wheeler. A message is left that this is the last opportunity for her to contact them. I don't know who Veronica Wheeler is. I never answer any calls that I don't recognize. The call is annoying.

I did not answer this call. We tend to not answer phone calls from these types of numbers after a certain time of day.

Automated message says this is a message for a Paul Gissay and to press to listen. I never do because I dont whats goign to happen. I get it a few times a month. Drives me crazy.

Martin "Marty" Elam of ACS (Academy Collection Services) uses both this number (877-943-2785) and 888-481-2946.  He has called me six times about someone I have never heard of, who apparently has an outstanding account.
