It must be a company calling to get me to buy the Contra Costa Times and the San Bernardino Sun newspapers with 4 weeks free delivery. One was at midnight (I'm on the east coast). Each time I've said I don't want the paper. Plus I've get a Contra Costa Times subscription for my mother listed under my number. They've called my do-not-call listed number about 6 times this week. I called back and said do not call and take my number off their list but still got a call 10 hours later.

I keep getting calls from this number along with several others the say CNG or San Jose.  I know it is the same news group and I am ready to cancel my phone service or get a new phone number.  They call constantly!!!  I feel traped in my own house!  Guess I'd better get an attorney because I am a do not call household.

Today is 10-06-06. Daily I get this number calling my home. When I answer the call, the phone gets disconnected. I am wondering if this is some kind of tracing to help figure out when I am home. Perhaps the telemarketers can better contact me. Is anyone else having this situation?

This number called multiple times to my home phone a couple weeks ago.  No message was ever left.  I finally picked up once - it was someone selling a newspaper.  Told her I wasn't interested. Now, a week later, the calls are starting again.  No means no, people!!!

I would suggest calling the editor/sales of the paper being asked to subscribed to every time you are called. Or maybe calling them 4 or 5 times a day just to say that you do not want a subscription to their paper.

Received multiple calls from 877-944-9344 and did not receive any messages. I called the number and the answerer said "Carroll County Times", a local newspaper whose subscription I recently cancelled.

Call from 877-944-9344 comes a couple times a day the past few days. When I answer no one says anything. When I don't answer there is never a message on my voice mail. No name on my caller ID, just the number. I have not yet tried to call back.

Calls 3-4 times a day. I made the mistake of actually answering it once. How do I make it stop? it's really irritating.

They ring my mobile 4-5 times per day and haven't left a message.

someone from this number called my cell phone several different times without leaving a message. when i called from my land line, the prerecorded operator said "all of our agents are helping other customers and we will be with your shortly" then music plays while on "hold" for a few seconds then the call picks up and promptly hangs up. after one of these hang ups, i stayed on the line and the call was picked up and hung up a second time.

12/13/09 - received call and had to say "Hello" three times before the telemarketer picked up the call on his end.  It was the Contra Costa Times newspaper.  I told him to remove me from his calling list and that I was on the Do Not Call registry.
They have called before but never leave a message.  If they call again I'll report them to at www.donotcall.gov

"unavailable" "877-944-9344" has called five times today morning through night. When I answer, the phone disconnects.  Perhaps this is some kind of automated testing to see what times of the day are best for having marketing calls answered?

I get calls from 1-877-944-9344 at least once a day and sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. I finally called them back just now and at first no one answered and then everytime I called someone just picked up the phone and hung it up again. I am reporting this harassment to my local police department first thing in the morning. Perhaps they can get them to stop, I suggest if everyone who gets harassed by these idiots does the same, it may stop them...and then again maybe it won't, but it is worth a try!

Someone with callback #877 944 9344 called me at my home land phone number.  I didn't answer, but then I called back and someone said "Sorry, wrong phone number," then got disconnected.

This number calls my cell phone day and night. When I call it back it says "All of our agents are currently busy, please hold" then you hear music for 2 seconds and it disconnects you.
