If what the previous poster has written is true (it is Discover or one of their affiliates) you should be able to stop these calls by calling 800-225-5202. You can see all kinds of info about this sort of thing in your yearly Discover Privacy Policy that they mail to you.

877/949-2718 calls.  Tired of the calls with no response or message!!  Called Discover Card and talk with Customer Service Rep to have my phone number removed/not released their affiliates.  Hope it works! Still I will phone block the #877/949-2718.

Thanks for the info. Only needed last four of card number and last four of ss # along with your info to get thru automated promps. Was getting headaches with 2 or 3 calls a day from Discover. Maybe kids can nap in peace now.

Thank you so much I called the 800 number and it took all of 30 seconds to do the two steps.

Call is from Discover card. They call asking for my husband and I tell them unless they can call after 9 at night when he is home to tell me what they gotta say or to call after 9. They apologize an say its an automatic system that calls and their sorry yet they continue to call throughout the day. Its getting annoying and they cant tell me what they have to say and its not even important.

get these calls alot - they never leave a message, they try from different  numbers but same areacode and prefix, some telemarketer co I imagine, just put them on call blocking.

Have been getting call from this number on my Cell and home lines for the past few days -calls and disconnects after 1 ring.....driving me nuts

Someone is there, but doesn't say anything or hung up.  Calls are all hours of the day sometimes even close to 9 pm.  It is annoying to get calls close to sleep time or getting ready for the night.
