Please report this company to FTC and Attorney General they will call saying they will serve u at your job or home for old pay day loan.  They get your information online to scare you if you ever applied for a pay day loan. I know my rights now. Please please don't be threatened into giving them money.  

I received a call from this company calling themselves Arm LLC.  They said they was going to serve me at my job regarding a Loan from three years ago. I fell for their scam saying I owe 400 dollars.  They had a fake account number.  If they call u report them to Attorney General.  

New number now 957 5924 something like that going by Chris Martin f er got me for 400

I just received calls at my place of employment from the same Michael Green from 877-957-3545 stating he was is with a legal courier with a case no. asking if I were working Friday because had court papers to serve me with. I wonder how do this people get your private information. He was very rude and threatening. I will be reporting this # to Attorney General & FTC.

I just received a call from 800-860-7662.  Mike Rowley informed me that I was on his list to be served on Wednesday.  He asked if I could be at my home on Wednesday to be served.  I let him know that I work during the day and it would not be possible and he seemed to hem and haw that he would have to come to my place of employment.  I have gotten calls like this in the past- although he was one of the nicest ones, but still I am aware that any debt I have will not land me in jail.  I am working on cleaning up my credit report and yes, in the past I have had payday loans (very much in excess unfortunately).  I have satisfied my debt with each of the companies that I dealt with over the past year.  He did not identify himself as a debt collector, or anything really.  He just said that he would serve me with papers and that I needed to show state id and sign a paper.  I have not received any letter validating my debt.  Also, he gave me the 877-957-3545 and the case number 254953 as a reference. Just wondering if anyone else has the same case number....because like I said before, I have never received anything in the mail stating that they were serving me with papers or taking me to court.  If they can't give me the name of the original creditor- I figure they are too shady.

This is a scammer. They kept calling my sister and her husband. They used a VOIP number so it looked like a local call on caller ID. They actually spoke to me and gave me info about the account. Of course, no proof of existence. You must file a complaint with your state Attorney General's office and with the Federal Trade Commission. This Samuel Sole & Associates (formally used other names) is on the FTC radar but everyone needs to file a complain with the FTC.

Also the # is saying it is for The Bristol Group.

I got an automated call saying it was for me. Gave a case #. Said they needed a call back from me or my attorney.  I called and left them a voice message saying I needed proof of what it was for. It was not until I read these post that I realized it was for a payday loan. I have news for them payday loans are illegal in the state of MD>

I too have been receiving threatening calls from one Michael Green with Samuel & Associates.  He threatens me and has even threatened my 82 year old mother.  He is extremely rude and abusive and in complete violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.  I have also told him what he is doing is illegal and it has no affect on him whatsoever.  I have reported them to the FTC

Who is this company.  They left a message stating I have "1 minute to call them back, good luck". Who can I report this harrassment to?

I just received 4 calls in 3 minutes from Michael Green who works for Samuel Sole, Attorney. It is a third party billing company. I was threatened with arrest and jail. All of my information and past history was recited to me in a very nasty manner. "I know all about you". He recited my SSN, driver's license #, an unfortunate DUI 2 0 years ago. Each call escalated in visciousness and threats. I finally told him that what he was doing was illegal and the calls stopped. I am upset, of course. I have been out of work for 5 years and am on disability. I barely get by. This whole episode was terrible.

Same thing, receiving emails and now text message saying "Thank You for your payment of $281.23. Your confirmation number is #14094-K. Please contact 1-877-957-1761 with any questions or concerns."

Got a message on my voicemail saying that I needed to return their call. I called the number 877-957-2492 a woman answered stating that my mother wrote a fraudulent check. She said my mother was using my name as a reference? A reference to write a check? Anyway, I asked the lady if my mother had written a bad check wouldn't the local states attorneys office have that information? She said well I suppose they would. This is a scam. I don't believe it at all. I wish there were a way to stop this. Too many people fall for this and it has to stop!

I have been getting calls and text messages from this number they really are a joke they said i need to call for a claim attached to my name and social security really? i will definitely report them

I have repeatedly received harassing automated calls to my phone saying I am the claimant in a civil suit etc, etc. They never mention my name & are calling the previous phone number owner and leaving a and this is automated. It's beyond harassment when I have called the number listed 1-877-975-2492 and when I ask who they are calling it is not me and they still do not stop calling me with threats that do not pertain to me.

I keep getting phone calls from a blocked number, telling me I will be served with papers at home or work and to call 877-957-2492 to make arrangements.  Someone is using my phone number illegally and when I contacted this number, the receptionist was a Beyotch and the supervisor claimed he would remove my number from their system as a contact for the lowlife who's using my number.  I have contacted them twice already to tell them (demand) they remove "my" number from their system and do their homework to find the scumbag they're looking for.

I also received a call from a private number.  A robot message was left stating exactly what has been mentioned elsewhere in this forum.  I know from experience that nobody warns you when you are being served with legal papers. They just show up. They must think that we all are morons when it comes to these matters. With all the info we have online, we can look up these clowns and see them for the con artists they really are. I feel these boards are a great public service, and have saved me a lot of worry.  Keep up the good work. And yes, these leeches should be reported to the proper agencies.

Similar story.  I am going to be served with papers at home or place of work if I do not respond.  Final notice ..bla, bla, bla.  Glad I did a Google search before calling back the number they provided (877 957 2492)  Not sure what the incoming number showed up as.

I would file a complaint, but I would also research it on your end as well just filing a complaint won't stop them from contacting you but if you can prove to them they are full of BS they will back off because then they know they go caught red handed and you are going to fall into their trap.  That's what I had to do, I knew for a fact that I didn't owe them a red cent so I simply called my bank got all the prove I needed and told them that I do not owe them and this is why haven't heard a word since and they would call me relentless as well as my job and my mom with the same threat but if they know you are on to them and are going to the all the effort of proving you didn't take out this loan or owe them anything they have nothing to stand on.  The law will be more on your side than theirs and they know this.  It's the people that fall for it and think well I need to pay them I don't want papers served that feed these people to continue to do this to others.  I ignored the calls at first knowing I didn't owe anything but as they continued I just got pissed so called them back got all the information they would tell me and got my prove on it as soon as I called them back with all my information boy did their tune change and I was in the drivers seat, they know when they are caught and will go away.  They even said to me "we will drop this case (so called case I say) and will NOT sell your information to anyone else or allow it to be sold to anyone else for a $9.00 fee.  WHAT? are you kidding me I was like uh NO I was not about to give them my bank information that is all they want, so don't fall for it.  Let them sell it or whatever I will handle that as it comes too.

I was called at work today telling me that I owed a loan that I don't even remember taking out.  If I didn't pay, they were going to have the sheriff serve me papers at home and would not give me time to research their company.  I'm filing a complaint with the PA Attorney General.

Keep In Mind. If You Never Get to Speak to a Collection Rep. They Can Not Send you to court without a proof of certified sign letter from the postal service. they can not go into your bank account with out a warrant and they can not pursue a actual payday loan if you live in the state of NY and CA due to strict laws for payday loans in those states.

I am just putting this out there so anyone else that gets these calls and hopefully looks at this site will see that it's a bunch of bull and a total scam.  I talked to them after receiving a recorded message with a threat of a judgement on my cell, they called my job and my Mom! Oh I was mad to say the very least.  First I get that I owed $300.00 reasoning was that I had received a $300.00 DEPOSIT into my checking account back in June of 2011.  He couldn't give me the exact date it was made but only it was in June sometime, but he did say he had prove as he was faxed my bank statement in June and saw the deposit and it was signed by the bank manager at my bank and he even gave me a name!  Even with that I still knew it was false but with it and told him I'd look into it and call him back, he did keep trying to keep me on the phone by saying well I can get our lawyer to send over more detailed information etc.....but I was like no I will research on my end and call you back.  So, I called the bank right away first asked about the "manager's name" he gave me and surprise surprise no such person, then had them pull my statements from June AND July and again surprise surprise no such deposit made so I called them right back and told them that information and of course he acted all shocked at this information and said well I will have to have you talk to my supervisor to get your "case" closed.  Whatever, so his supervisor gets on the phone and acts as though he knew nothing of what was going on and I was like so so and so didn't clue you in on this wow.  So, he gets my name and pulls me up and says oh I see here you owe $300.00 what happened is you were charged $39.99 for an application fee back in June 2011 and over the course of the time with interest and fees it's now $300.00 and I was like you are insane really you are.  First I get one story from one of your employees and he had so much detail that if I was an complete idiot I may of fallen for it, but since I knew I never took out a PDL nor applied for one at anytime so knew that all this was BS but they wouldn't give up on the calls and when it came to calling my Mom is where I drew the line.  I told this supervisor that I never applied for any PDL and knew nothing of this until now and what 2 years later.  I am not sure how they got my information he claimed from a company call Plain Green lending, but I am not sure who knows with all this internet stuff out there now some for good but as I learned some for bad too.  I told him I will not be bulled into paying one cent to them or this Plain Green lending and if they hired them to get this money he can go back and tell them of our conversation.  They can pursue it further if they wish but trust me I will have a voice and protect my rights - seems to me this Plain Green lending is a total scam and will try for anything to get money and some people fall for it which is sad but not their fault either they can be scary when they are calling you all the time and saying you could have  judgement etc,,,,,But if you get a call like this talk to them, do research it if you need to but get all the information from them you can write it down tell someone else so you have a witness to it don't let them bulling you into paying them it's money you are just giving them.  It was clear in the first 5 minutes of the conversation I had with them it was BS and it's all a scare you and make you think hhhmm maybe I did do this or whatever, that's how they work and it's sad that these type of people are out there trying to scam on hard working people.  But to them they feel they are just doing their jobs maybe so I don't know, but talking to them and getting the facts and throwing that in their face will at least to STOP calling which is what I wanted!!

This number called my grandmother threaten to come to her house and arrest her. I called the number back they answer Hello, I asked what is the name of your company, they asked and your name is, so I made up a fake name and the rep told me this is Sanuel & Associates, calling regarding an unpaid debt. SCAM

I told them over 6 times (they use different numbers) I am not the person they are looking for.  They have the wrong number.  I have no debt whatsoever; I don't know the person they want; I had this # over 4 years;  & I warned them that I would call the FCC because of their harassment, but they still call- often now without leaving a message. Debt Collector- Greeberg, Stern, & Associates.

These guys are scam artists. Number one, they would have to appear in your city to file any papers. 2 they cannot threaten you with any type of action if you do not comply. 3 it is a scam. Do not answer the phone. Do not respond to them under any circumstances. I laugh every time they call. It cracks me up that they think they have any power at all. What fools.

I have a debt consolidation company that already is handling all the payments and he sound very nasty.
