Received same call today wanting last 4 digits of ss# to verify credit card app. They couldn't cancel card unless I gave them number. Be wary they are still at large!!

Hey Sean, why don't you give us your first and last name along with your social security number. This is a fake company digging for information so they can steal your identity. Sean is obviously working for them and trying to make people give out their information so he can profit. These people steal your identity and take every cent you have. When you call, they dig for birth dates, social security numbers, etc then say it must have been a mistake. Next thing you know, all of your money is gone. It's GE Money bank, they finance Paypal/Ebay credit cards. I believe this is there fraud department number. If you didn't apply for a credit card with them and they call you, you better call them back because someone may have stolen your Identity

Received a call from Rachael from 877-969-1127 about a credit application I made with Paypal. Respond within 72 hours. She said it would only take a few minutes of my time. I did not call Paypal because I saw postings here. I did not call the number back. They are still out there trying to get personal information. 7-10-2009

Got a call from Bridgette from 877-969-1127. Said she was calling about a credit application I made with Paypal and that I needed to respond within 72 hours. She said it would only take a few minutes of my time. I called Paypal and they said they do not call clients. If they need to reach the client, they would do it by email. I did not call the number back. Just wanted to report they are still out there trying to get personal information.
