EXTREMELY rude and aggressive - even after they were informed that the person they were trying to contact is a minor child.

This 877-990-3599 number calls my CELL PHONE all the time.  I have a standing rule that I never answer a call when I don't know the number, so these people are just wasting their time with me.

I have gotten three calls today from 1-990-238-4283.  Upon checking it out all I could find out is that there is no such area code.  I'm getting annoyed with the calls.

Someone called me tonight from this number: 18779903599  , he  asked if my name is correct.  I answer it is me.  I ask him where are you calling from. He said he is calling from Bank of Montreal.   I asked what is problem?.  He said, just some customer want to verity some information.   I called Bank of Montreal, Someone from Bank of Montreal told me, it is not Bank of Montreal number.    I don't know what is this number? From which company?

This phone # keeps calling, please if you can put a stop to it!!!

This number appears frequently on my 'phone listed as "Unknown name".
However, when I am at home and able to answer, I always suggest to the caller that, since they do not appear to know their own name they should consult a medical specialist as soon as possible!

The number belongs to Ipso Reid a polling company. Legitimate!

The phone system may give this company a number that cannot be blocked because they are a legitimate survey company.

I just ignored my call and checked this site to see who they are. Likely will not answer their subsequent calls.

This is Not a telemarketer...this is a survey company. Very, very different.

they are conducting a survey for some client, possibly Liberals or NDP if you live in BC (election coming up in spring and we will be subjected to many political polls).

Because they are a legitimate survey company they do not have to exclude names on the DNC list. They either got your phone number from their client's customer list or it is randomly generated.

If this is Ipsos Reid...it is a legitimate survey company. They are exempt from the DNC list so don't blame CRTC or RCMP or whatever.....

I checked this site rather than pick up the phone when they called me. I'm guessing that this call signifies the beginning of political polls season preceeding the BC election.

Maybe Ipsos Reid should try to have their name on the caller ID rather than 'unknown name'...you might get a few more responses!

AND...a final PS ....next time you hear the results of some poll or survey, ask yourself how reliable they really are considering how many of us refuse to answer.

I have call blocked this number, yet somehow they have called and hacked through the call blocking.  This is a huge red flag that regarding individuals and an organisation that needs to be investigated by police.  This is not a legitimate business if they themselves are hacking through the call blocking system.

This number keeps calling saying they are a survey company

This number has called me every other day for the last few weeks. I picked it up one time but hung up quickly after I realized it was a telemarketer.

This number keeps calling my cell, and I pay for the calls.  I want them to stop, however they never leave message and I am not prepared to incur costs on someone else's behalf.

Could it be a good way for a company to make money, like a cell company?

Same no# calls my "On call" cell phone when im sleeping !!!!! it wakes me up every night around 7:42 pm ,  Damm 1-877 #s, we need help from theses People! they and the others are ruining my sleep times!

I called the number back using google call. The recording said that the number belongs to Ipsos Reid - a marketing research firm. Like Shay mentioned, they don't leave a message. Wish that I had a phone or a plan that would block these calls!

Been receiving calls all week from this number. Finally called it back and it's some research company about a marketing survey that doesn't accept returned calls, doesn't leave messages and you can't leave them a message either. I sure wanted to leave them a piece of my mind.

I am in Canada and I get daily calls from this number.  I told them if they were selling something to take me off their call list and they hung up.  They never leave a message but continue to call

called my home phone twice per day but never leving any message which is available of my phone. I'll never answer it.

DON'T TALK to these cockroaches just blast them with a #4 dial-tone, they hang-up after 10 seconds, keep doing this eventually they move on, if you talk to them your phone # goes on a SUCKERS list.
