The callers are trying to scam veterans using the refinance benefits to justify their call. They claim they are a 3rd party making calls to veterans to inform or remind them

I am very tied of getting this call everyyy day. I've been on the do not call list since 2000 or more. Its just not working anymore.

calls 3 times a week, when answered they just sit there.............can this number be blocked?

Called back and requested that they not call again. Lady was very apologetic, stating that their system was very slow and said that when they get indication that I have answered their system's call, I am already hanging up. She said she would remove my number from their list. We'll see if that happens.

I have a phone where I can set to have specific phone numbers sent straight to voice mail. So now if these people call again, I'll never know because it'll go straight to voicemail.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.  And the DNC can't stop the callers from doing so. It only keeps the honest business's honest.

Wish these could somehow be blocked!  What ever happened to the Do Not Call List?

These guys called me 3 times in the last hour!!!! Really annoying man!

They called me twice in the last week.  I just called them back.  They are asking about VA loans.  The call me and send me mail at least twice a week.  I've asked them to stop but they continue.

If you are with Verizon and have a newer phone you can block the calls or put on your reject list. It will slow/stop the calls.

That's a myth Kathryn about the scammers getting peoples phone numbers from the DNC. They don't need to do that when they use dialers and only have to program in numbers from x to xxxx.   Do not give bad advice and carry myth's on..  Whether your on the list or no, the calls will continue or you will get them eventually.  The list only keeps honest ones honest and no law is going to stop criminals and illegal telemarketers.

There is nothing that anyone from this site can do to honor your request.

Stop answering your phone. Each time you do, you verify that the number is a working number. They update their data base to indicate this and therefore keep calling.

The DNC registry is where the scammers and telemarketers are getting your number. Legitimate companies pay attention to the list and honor it.  The bad guys don't. Best to do what I did and remove your name from the registry. It won't stop the calls completely, but as long as you are on it, the calls will increase.

Any time you change your phone number, you end up with one that someone else has had before you.  There is no such thing as a 'brand new' number.

Got a call from '877-995-7652' 2/7/14 9:04 AM - CID showed 'toll free' - was not answered, no message on Ans. Mach. suspect scam 'telemarketer' but no hard info.  

The caller ID is 877-995-7652; then when you call it back it says the number has been disconnected. How do we get them to stop calling?

They called me today too, i am going to add these clowns to Google Voice.  Also, here is a trick most don't know.  When the phone rings, pick it up, wait a few seconds and then press and hold the number 9 on your phone.  It makes the same sound as a fax machine.  Hold down the button for about 10 seconds and then hang up.  They won't keep calling back a fax machine, LMAO

Telemarketer that bought VA loan peoples numbers from YOUR bank!  They are using a computer dialing system that causes them to hang up of people frequently.  They are trying to see if someone answers the number or if it is out of service.  They will call back later and will update your file to note you are still answering.  Nothing you can do other than getting a throw away number every few months and use a google number to mask your identity.  Only answer calls from the google number.

They keep calling repeatedly. Caller ID doesn't show a name, so I don't answer. I wish they would quit calling.

Got a call from (877)995-7652.  Some sort of robocall.

called at dinnertime. no answer, they finally hung up.

Keeps calling about VA loans. Each time they ask about a different family member none of which are Military.

OUR stinking politicians allow this to keep happening..   With all of the technology we have, they do have the ability to stop it and punish the ones doing it, but I bet they are making money and will never stop it....

Calls, no message left.  The caller ID says 800 service.....like the others who have posted here, I have received many calls from this number.   I never answer, but that does not stop them.   I am on the no call list also, so this must be one of the many telemarketers out there who do not care about the no call list.
