I am completely PISSED OFF with all the calls from this number.... 877-998-4494......         I have had at least 8 calls in the past 5 days from this number on my cell phone which is a phone number that I have had FOR OVER 30 YEARS MIND YOU, and these ,MORONS just can't seem to understand the meaning of "THERE IS NO ONE HERE BY THAT NAME", " YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER", "DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN, I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY AND I WILL REPORT YOU"!!.
They just don't get it.     The idiots won't tell me what the call is in regards to, they will only tell me that it's for "Jaclyn Labaum", whomever that is, and that they want to speak with her at her earliest convenience and would I give her the message?
WTF!!!  I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYONE BY THAT NAME!        Today when I saw the caller I.D. I almost lost it. Then I answered the phone. I was the 'Princess of Peace', the 'Sweetest of all Sweetness', the 'Kindness of all, well you get the picture...   THEN I TRANSFORMED INTO THE BI*** FROM HE--!!!   I cussed that girl out!  I just let her have it like a TORNADO ON FIRE!!!     If she still has any hair left on her head I would be shocked!  Told her "REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR LIST NOW", and "I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR,...NOW,,,and DO NOT  PUT ME ON HOLD WHILE YOU GET THEM TO THE PHONE".....  When the Supervisor got on the line I cussed that woman out too and DEMANDED that she CONFIRM that the operator had removed my telephone number from their records. After repeatedly asking them for my phone number to which they could not respond. I told them "HAVE A F-ING WONDERFUL FOURTH OF JULY!"  I certainly will knowing you won't be calling me again!  And I hung up.
I really am not a mean person, I just really hate ignorant people!

I got the same caller 7th avenue I don't even have a credit card! Tell them you want to speak to a supervisor get that persons name, and tell them you will take action for harassment! And to stop calling your home or cell! It's a scam to get your info!

Watch for this number 1-877-998-4494 7th avenue, they called me twice 1st call I told them I don't have a 7th ave card. The guy in customer told me he will put me on the do not call list. Just today I got another call.. This time the women told me I had a charge on my 7th ave card which "I don't have "back in April and if I lived at this address I told her NO!! them she put me on hold for a long time I just hung up! 1 word watch out! This is a SCAM... I then called back to speak to a supervisor and told her I will turn them in to the A general office for investigation.. Stop calling my home I also have A block on my phone! Watch for this number!

Call them even if you don't owe them money.  They send out catalogs with preapproved status and credit limits in them.  Our wonderful USPS delivered to the wrong address and someone ordered with that preapproved status and had delivered to a different address.  7th Ave did not bat an eye about that which really ticked me off.  A few months after the criminal received the items and didn't pay I began to get phone calls and letters.   I had ordered from them in the past and paid in full so had no idea why they were asking to be paid.  After a phone call and looking into the ship to address, etc it became apparent of what happened.  They didn't immediately release me from the amount owed but was told there would be an investigation.  I had to make a police report, contact all the credit agencies, and wait.  Within a month I was contacted that 7th Ave was not pursuing me for the amount owed and the credit agencies removed it from my report.  It took some time but sure glad I made that call.  If you do owe them, Ann Becker will hound you to the depths of hell.  

THIS NUMBER KEEPS HARASSING ME ABOUT A BILL THEY SAY I OWE AND I'VE NEVER ORDERED FROM THEM.

These pukes called me at 7:35 on a Saturday morning, and then at 7:19 on a Tuesday morning.  Hello - what legitimate business would call at those times?  Left no message either time.  I called back and listened long enough to hear an automated voice mention "7th Avenue," but I haven't ordered anything from any catalog, much less the ones mentioned in some of the other comments here.

So sick of pukes like these thinking that having a phone number is an invitation to harass people.

I have been getting these calls consistenly for over a month at various times during the day.  I'm just going to block them. Keep saying have a deal for Tina Miller from 7th Avenue.  Don't know such a person and have never done business with them.....afraid to call back.  May make it worse and give out information for more suspicious callers. Ugh.....leave me alone.

They called around 9:30 AM and said that we owed them money. I asked for what? He said a debt that I owed them. I told him after asking what the company he was with that I did not owe them any money. He then asked me for my name and my social security number. Right then I hung up. SCAM! BEWARE!

Shes still at it everyday morning and night.

"Hi. This is Anne Becker from Seventh Ave. I'm sorry I missed you. Please call me back at 1 877 999 7887 regarding a personal business matter."

They call all hours of day and night using tons of variations on this number. Sad thing is my payment was mailed 2 weeks ago and it was a double payment. Their billing department stinks at crediting payments made in a timely fashion....once paid I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN...........EVER !!!!!

Ann Becker has been leaving pre-recorded messages almost everyday on my machine for months now. I have to delete constantly. It has become a joke in my family "Dont answer it, its Ann Becker". "Ann becker called for you..." Now we are just trying to see when she gives up calling.

It is possible someone ordered in your name or someone gave your phone number.  You should have your parent/guardian call them to make sure no one fraudulently ordered in your name.  It happens.

Shipping costs are outrageous for the company as well.  Plus if you don't get the product, the company eats the cost of the product, so basically part of that is insurance.  The catalogs list the shipping charges, so if you don't look at that before you place your order, it is your own fault.  You should expect to have to pay shipping on something you ordered.  If you want to WalMart and bought an item and had to return it because you didn't like it, you wouldn't expect them to give you gas money.  It is not a rip-off when they clearly are listing the price.  Plus their catalog gives descriptions of their products.  They need to show a good picture of the item, so you can see the details of the product.  Plus, if you have questions about the item, you can always ask before you place the order.  Don't blaim a company because you didn't look up the information or ask about it before you ordered it.

Guys, it is better to talk to them or call the actual customer service line.  (I know credit people can be jerks and most c/s people will actually try and help you figure out whats going on)
For the wrong number people, if you get pissy with them they will probably get pissy back... there is always the option of asking for their manager/supervisor and telling them this is a new number or they gave you the wrong number.
As for the wrong time... perhaps you are in a different time zone than them & they system is automatically kicking the calls out.
The Ripoff Reports person, 1-as they said they didn't check the box, therefor they don't know if they even had the right product.. all they had to do was call customer service, say i got the wrong item and they would have sent a label for shipping back and credited the acct in full when they received it back.  Also shipping and processing charges are in the catalog, if you are too lazy to read terms, conditions, s/p and all that, it's your own fault.
Also there are many cases of fraud in this country so it may be smart to talk to them and make sure someone didn't order something under your name!

I also received 3 calls in 5 days from this number for a Tashia Hodgins (?).  When I called the number back, the person who answered identified the business as "7th Avenue".  I told her that this number no longer belonged to this "Tashia".  She in turn started to get really nasty with me saying that she needed to verify that I am not this "Tashia" woman.... sounded like a debt collector!!!

This Tashia is one messed up woman, I get debt collector calls for her ever since I got this Cricket phone! Cox, US Dept of Education, and now these people.... stop bailing on your financial obligations people!!!!

I received a call from this number today and all the caller said was you'd better watch out for  yourself! Was this a threat? Who are these people. I don't owe money to any one except my amex card.

These automated Ann Becker messages are left everyday. Its going on 2 months now. Even my answering machine has filled up.  They will not stop calling. We do not have debt and have good credit. I also have a fraud/identity alert freeze on my credit. I can detect scams easily so I dont call no one back ever regardless especially to say take me off your list. They can just call all they want.

which includes 7th ave, swiss colony, ginny's, etc, etc.
They also pull credit reports if you buy anything from them without your permission!

Something about a Fraudulent Check.  I don't do checks. Fraudulent or any other.

They need to stop calling me.  I don't do checks, and if they have a check from me it has to have my address on it.
If these phone calls keep, I will sue for harrassment.  They have nothing on me.

Do not call this number again.  Harrassment is not adviseable and I am turning you in.  Remove my number from you calling list AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IMMEDIATELY.  DO NOT KEEP CALLING THIS NUMBER.

I do have a account with them.  But I have been receiving calls from foreiners the last 2 weeks.  I have received mail from seventh avenue stating I owe them more than I actually do.  I called them and they quoted me I didn't owe that much.  I have been throwing away the higher bill, but when I contacted them today I told them I would send them another copy if I received another one.  The foreigner's that has been calling on other purposes say they are from Anderson law firm and you are charged with debt collections, or Social Security Fraud and other complaint's are going in.  This is happening to people all over the U.S.  This Number I received today said it came from seventh avenue.  I'm afraid to answer or use my cell phone any longer or the internet.  The foreigner's that have been calling ever one has all our personal information.

I've told her this isn't Paula's phone and I don't know anyone by that name, please remove me from your list . . . to no avail.

This phone # belongs to 7th Avenue which is part of a larger group of companies under the same business and can also be related to accounts with Ginny's, Country Door, Swiss Colony, etc. Speaking for myself, it is a legitimate call, because I have an account with 7th Avenue for some furniture I bought, but the irritating thing is that they begin calling up to 5 days BEFORE the payment due date! My payment is (and has always been) due on 30th of the month and they have been calling me since 7/25, just like every month.

Lady said she was trying to reach Paul Young.

I told her she had the wrong number and remove my number from her list.

She replied "I will contact directory assistance, sir."

WTF?

I purchased a table, which was back ordered.  The payment went through 4 months ago.  The company claims I owe them payment for such an item, when I have the invoice, bank statements, and confirmation that it was paid when I placed the order.  

I copied all of this and mailed it off to them.  

Still, I get the calls.

Perhaps people can get back at them for using these robo-dialers... in the state of California, it is illegal to use robo-dialers without first using a live person to announce that a recorded message is to be played. The fine is only $500, but if enough people complain to the CPUC, it might discourage them enough to not do  business in California. There are exceptions to this rule, but since this company is a third party debt collector, the rules apply to them.
