i wont answer it and am sick to death of fraud in any form on any information stolen by any meens

Now that I am looking back at my phone records since 11/222013 I have had many calls from this annoying number.  I do not pick up if I do not recognize the number.  They have called 1/14/14T, 6:56pm CST; 1/15/14W, 10:24am CST; 1/15/14W, 2:25pm CST; 1/17/14F, 10:36am CST; 1/17/14F, 3:10pm CST; 1/21/14T, 12:07pm CST.  

How ANNOYING!!!

Received a call from 877-999-1961 on 1/21/14, 12:07pm CST.  No message left.  Thank you to all who have posted.  I will block this number with the iPhone "Block this Caller" function.

Up to 5 calls per day, I am disabled so getting to the phone is not easy. I have repeatedly asked for my name to be removed from their list. I am considering cancelling my home phone. Never  never never give any personal info orbuy over the phone! I have heard this is a scam #

Keeps calling and hanging up.. its so annoying. How do i report them?

Yep, I just got a call from 877-999-1961 and when I answered they hung up

I just got a call from this number and I answered without looking at the ID (thinking it was my son calling be back).  I said "hello" and I didn't get anybody and I just hung up.  I see where I commented on this same number back in Feb.  I've definitely have been getting plenty calls from this number.  I had never seen the numbers starting with 999 before this.

I just got this # on 3/18/2012.I don't know who you are trying to call but I am under 15, in middle school, with no credit or loans. Stop calling me over & over and please leave me alone!

I got a call from this number this morning.  I didn't answer.  I just called from my cell phone and it is ConServe, a collection agency.  I just hung  up.  I don't know why they are calling me because I don't owe anybody anything.

Debt Collections on student loan from 1986 problem is that is the year I was born!

When I typed in the number on google this website came up and another one 800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-999-1961  and this is what it said under the number

introduce themselves as student loan collectors. gather name ssn# and phone. thur a series of questions. then after getting number said that the name given under this number was for a different person.


Dont give any info cause its a fraud they dont introduce who they are so be careful

They never say a word and they hang up.

Received call-11/11/08, Caller asking for another with same surname but refusing to identify self. After-caller in an attempted menacing voice states he wil call back "buddy". Call remains unwanted and annoying.

They call, don't leave a message on my machine

They call any number they can think of try to get your personal information. They don't leave a message nor do they identify themselves when you call their number.

this is a scam... I was on scholarship when they are saying I owe the money... and the school even says I don't owe it... Don't give them any personal information.

ConServe is a collections agency based in New York. They deal mostly with defaulted student loans.

I do have student loans.  I am still a full time student and NONE of my loans have gone into repayment.  This company is full of it!  They are just trying to scare people into paying money!

don't know who this number is but they called yesterday and left no message... They called today and asked for me by maiden name from 5 years ago... After saying that I was that person they transferred me to a thing saying that my call will be answered in the order it was received.. I hung up at that point because I was not the one doing the calling...

Ive gotten 2-3 calls a day from this number for about a month now when or if i do answer it nobody answers. Its very annoying!!

I answer and get hung up on too. Stop calling and not saying anything!

I answer and just get hung up on - i get a call from them at least once a day some times up 3 times a day - its REALLY annoying - im trying to see if  i can block the number,

I got a call from them today saying I owed at a school that i paid in cash. caller tried to get account number to set up a payment. I asked for reason for calling me and he said without any hestation that "legolas, you owe such school this amount." without asking any questions who i was. didn't sound real because true companies ask who you are and take time to look stuff up.
